Transformers: Prime – The Game

Go To

  • Anti-Climax Boss: Megatron, of all characters. Even with the Turns Red the later fights add to him, his attacks only increase in damage and are still just as easy to avoid as they were before.
  • Low-Tier Letdown: Starscream is considered to be the weakest character in multiplayer mode. His melee attacks are slow and weak and the final hits for his combo attacks don't set up for his upgraded combos. The best thing he has going for him is his missiles. They can do a huge amount of damage if they all hit, especially if they're fully charged. However, for them to actually hit a target, he needs to fire them at point-blank range or very far away. The arc the missiles travel in bypasses any enemies at close-to-mid-range, or if the target is quickly moving. Even if they home in on the enemy, they can time it right and shield, which is quite easy to do.
  • No Problem with Licensed Games: It's a pretty solid brawler game with some driving and shooting segments to shake up the base gameplay, which made many Nintendo owners that missed out on the Cybertron games very pleased. Much of this would be revisited and refined further in Transformers: Devastation.
  • That One Boss: Dreadwing, he backs a very strong ranged attack coupled with laying bombs throughout the arena you fight him in.
