Uncle Gus is the name of two cartoon pilots created by Lincoln Peirce (creator of the comic strip Big Nate) for Cartoon Network. They both follow broke middle-aged loser Gus, his talking horse Flapjack, his overly theatrical nephew Beeyotus, and mysterious con man Ali Ali.
Gus appears as a playable character alongside three other Big Pick characters in the online flash game Cartoon Cartoon Summer Resort. The existence of a third short, which Peirce mentioned in a 2014 interview, is unconfirmed.
Uncle Gus did not win the contest; Grim & Evil did.
