"The High and the Flighty" is a 1956 Looney Tunes short directed by Robert McKimson, starring Foghorn Leghorn and Daffy Duck.
In this short, Daffy Duck is a traveling salesman for the Ace Novelty Company of Walla Walla, Washington, who is trying to sell Foghorn Leghorn and the Barnyard Dawg some gag-based items.
The High and the Flighty provides examples of:

- Big "SHUT UP!": Foghorn Leghorn does it again when he shoves the beach ball into Dawg's mouth.

- Enemy Mine: Foghorn and Dawg team up at the end to get their revenge on Daffy for profiting off of their feud throughout the earlier part of the picture.
- Forcibly Formed Physique: The Pipe Full O' Fun Kit #7 slingshots its victim through a series of tubes, cramming them into a small bottle. This is Daffy's fate after Foggy and Dawg realize they've been played.Foghorn Leghorn: There just — I say, there just might be a market for bottled duck.
- Hammerspace: The Pipe Full O' Fun Kit #7 is clearly too big for Daffy's suitcase, and the pipes themselves too big for the box for that matter-and he ostensibly had TWO of them in there.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: In the end, Daffy becomes the victim of one of his own gags.
- Playing Both Sides: Daffy sells both Foghorn and the Barnyard Dawg novelty items to use against each other in their prank war. It's only when he accidentally sells both of them the same item — the Pipe Full O' Fun Kit #7 — that they catch on.
- Popcorn on the Cob: Barnyard Dawg gives Foghorn a corncob connected to an electric wire. When he turns on the juice, all of Foggy's feathers turn into popcorn, including his comb.
- Traveling Salesman: Daffy is a salesman for the Ace Novelty Company. He finds Foghorn Leghorn and the Barnyard Dawg on one of their usual prank wars and thinks he's scored a couple of customers.
