Super Marjo Bros is a comic on Smack Jeeves that parodies the Super Mario Bros. series, if it were made on drugs.

The comic follows Mario *ahem* Marjo and various other Mario characters with either "J" or "H" swapped out for one of the letters in their names.

Tropes that appear in this work:

• Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence: Joshi becomes a god after eating himself.
• Arc Villain:
  • Chapter 3 actually features a somewhat overarching plot with Big Jertha as the villain.
  • Chapter 5 has Dark Jeach and Jawk Hawk.
• Art Shift:
  • A minor one but comic #51 features poses in contrast to the characters' usual lack of movement.
  • Chapter 5 shifts to much better drawn artwork. It goes back to normal once chapter 6 starts.
• Big Damn Heroes: Soviet Joonie shows up to save Marjo, Luiji and Hosalina form Jakitu and Jhiny to spread his communist propaganda.
• Butt-Monkey:
  • Joad, whom Marjo goes to whenever he needs spare body parts.
  Joad: Give me my spine back Marjo!
  • Jonic also frequently finds himself on the end of Marjo's flamethrower.
• Car Fu: Marjo and Luiji kill Dark Jeach by running her over with Jonkey Jong's car.
• Cassandra Truth: Jowser doesn't believe Hosalina's explanation of what happened in the last comic. Though to be fair, half of what she said isn't confirmed to be true.
• Cue the Sun: Chapter 5 ends with a sunrise.
• Dark Is Evil:
  • Shadow Marjo, though the only evil thing he really does is sue Marjo for filming Luiji and Jaisy having sex in public.
  • Also Dark Jeach.
• Evil Twin: Shadow Marjo, appears to be an evil (well, eviler) counterpart of Marjo.
• Face–Heel Turn: Jeach turns evil after the "Big Jertha" incident and becomes Dark Jeach.
• Fantastic Drug: Marjo gets high off of Joad's spine, somehow...
• Graceful Loser: Jammer Bro's last words to the Marjo Bros after they kill him is him telling them to jam on.
• Hammerspace: Parodied with Marjo's jammer space.
• Imaginary Friend: Jallow is just a figment of Heno's imagination.
• Kill It with Fire: Marjo and Luiji's solution to most problems is to torch it with their flamethrowers. Or sometimes they just torch people for no reason.
• Living Clothes: Jonic manages to survive being converted by Luiji into an improvised costume in chapter 5.
• Mad Doctor: The appropriately named Medically Insanio Jario.
• The Man Behind the Man: Dark Jeach is revealed to have gained her powers from Jawk Hawk.
• Naked People Are Funny: Jhiny seems to think so.
• Nice Job Breaking It, Hero!: In the first comic, Luiji tears off Jhy Guy's mask to see what's under it. The mask turns out to actually be his face.
  • Double Subverted with Warjo, who does the same thing to another Jhy Guy, only for him to reveal he expected there to be blood behind the Jhy Guy's face.
• Nice Job Fixing It, Villain!: Joshi kicks a burning baby Hosalina away from a building. When Jonic congratulates him for saving the building, Joshi reveals that he wanted to eat the baby.
• Paper-Thin Disguise: Luiji and Marjo tear off Jonic and Joad's faces to wear as disguises against Dark Jeach.
• Reset Button Ending: Chapter 5 ends with Marjo resetting the comic to page #1.
• Rhymes on a Dime: Jammer Bro speaks in rhyme and his music has this affect on anyone who hears it.
  Marjo: Wow even on fire he actually rhymed.
  Luiji: You could say it was ill-timed.
  Marjo: Shut up.
• She Is Not My Girlfriend: Marjo assumes Luiji to be cheating on Jaisy when he first sees him with Hosalina.
• Spirit Advisor: Jig The Cat appears to Luiji to guide him out of Jonic's stomach when Jonic devours him.
• Stylistic Suck: All of the characters in the comic are depicted with still sprites that never move. Averted with Chapter 5, which shifts to drawn artwork.
• Super Mode: Juper Jega Marjo Jime!
  • Jonic also becomes Hyper Jonic after Marjo torches him with his flamethrower. Not that it helps.
  • Jowser powers up and becomes Jiga Jowser Ultra Omega in Chapter 5.
• Villain Protagonist: Marjo and to a lesser extent Luiji. Though they both cross into Sociopathic Hero in Chapter 5 when they go up against Dark Jeach.
• Villainous Rescue:
  • Jonkey Jong saves Marjo from Jonic after he sees through his disguise. Subverted when Jonkey tries to kill him only a panel afterward.
  • Played Straight later when Jowser shows up to save Marjo from Jawk Hawk.
