Rascals is an action/adventure/comedy/drama webcomic drawn and written by Mastergodai. Previously hosted by The Katbox, it is now part of the Kemono Café webcomic community. Rascals is done in memory of Tim Marks (a.k.a. Jabronisaur).

Follow the crazy antics of a group of friends from different backgrounds as they grow and experience the ups and downs of days dealing with Love triangles, misunderstood situations, annoying jobs and nosy parents. Will all of them find a happy ending in this crazy thing we call Life? Let's join them and find out!

Rascals contains examples of:

• Action Girl: Reiko without a doubt, especially when pushed to the corner. Issy also when she tries to help Reiko confront her inner demon as seen here.
• Action Girlfriend: Without a doubt, Reiko with her man Skye in their teamup hijinks as seen here.
• A-Cup Angst: Raven, the female mouse character, is often frustrated with her competitions well endowedness as seen in the Hot Springs arc.
• Adrenaline Makeover: It seems to happen to Issy whenever she awakens her hidden powers.
• All There in the Manual: Rascals Goyoku explains the ninja backstories of all the bunny characters and later Talon and their former master.
• Alpha Bitch: As evidenced by the way Amanda treats Chrissy upon her introduction.
• Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Quick and Jazmin meet up with Kyoko, Jazmin's mom, and Gloria, Quick's Mom, erroneously assuming that they're dating and making babies as seen here and on the next few pages here.
• Amazonian Beauty: In addition to their gargantuan curves, a few of the girls have very developed muscles, though this has been emphazised with time. Abs are sometimes the focus of attention and go from lines of fitness like Raven's to built six packs like Amanda's to fbb level abs like those of Izzy, Jazmin and other ninjas.
• Animals Not to Scale: In Rascals, most of the characters are anthropomorphized breeds of cats, rabbits, squirrels, or hybrids and are about human-sized and that vary in size and shape.
• Animesque: As evidenced by the Art Evolution of style, story telling, and paneling. Besides the big round eyes, the characters also have puffed-up cheeks ala Tsukasa Kotobuki.

• Artistic License – Sports: At one point Ruby Fields is seen fighting in a tag-team match against the Bash twins, with the ref even stating surprise how she made it to the finals all alone. When all seems lost Skye comes to her rescue and they win the title. Not only would Ruby not have been allowed to enter the tournament without a partner, Skye would also have gotten in serious trouble for outside interference, likely resulting in Ruby getting disqualified.
• Badass Adorable: Pretty much all the rabbits in the universe here, especially Reiko as seen here and the next few proceeding pages.
• Balanced Harem: Quick has relationships with Chrissy, Jazmin, and Raven, having arcs spanning his interactions with each of them. Later, Quick begins to get to know Amanda on an intimate level, which ended up in a threesome with Chrissy.
• Be Careful What You Wish For: At the start of this page here and the next page here, Quick day dreams about a threesome, which ends up with him being in an open relationship with Chrissy, Jazmin, and Raven. He starts to show signs of regret on this page here.
• Berserk Button: Charlotte when she deals with any female with a larger chest than her as seen at the start of this page here.
• Berserker Tears: Chrissy during the misunderstanding on what happened last night starting on this page here.
• Big Beautiful Woman: Fel is proud of her fine figure.
• Big-Breast Pride: Pretty much the majority of female charcters in Rascals, especially Koyoko and Reiko.
• Big Brother Instinct: Nick after his sister initially pushes his Berserk Button when he decides to help her out of her slump with money at the start of this page here.
• Bilingual Dialogue: Attempted on this page between Issy and her adopted dad, the exchange between the two is converted to English for the fans.
• Blank White Eyes: During the beach fight on this page and here when the group meets Issy's parents.
• Boob-Based Gag: Reiko, especially during her interactions with Chrissy.
• Bratty Half-Pint:
  • While slighlty obscure, Reiko's innocent child when Issy enters her demon mind as seen on this page.
  • Kimberly "Kimmy" Nash, when reintroduced as a teenage categorizes as one despite being Nate's twin sister, she even started a rumor in school about "Lucky" Lucy Kane already having a boyfriend so her twin brother would step up his game, it works too well whoever.
• Broken Bird: This appears to happen to Reiko when Skye calls it quits on their relationship as evident on this page and future pages of this particular arc.
• The Cameo: Miles and Rachael from Las Lindas walking down a street. Rule63 of Alej, Mora, Taffy, Rachael, Sarah, and Minos from said Webcomic in a female catering restaurant Los Lindos.
• Cannot Spit It Out: Reiko when she tries to tell Skye that she loves him on this page here (eventually became the image header of the trope page itself).
• Canon Character All Along: Paige Creed and her twin brother Keith are both actors who play the role of Hawke on the Knuckle Up in-universe Series, which made many fans confused to this day learning Knuckle Up and Paige being called "Hawke" still in the fandom.
• Can't Hold His Liquor: In the early pages, Chrissy has a hard time holding her liquor. As a result, she comes onto Quick heavily. After Chrissy and Quick's "Lets Be Friends", Jazmin attends a party and becomes drunk after one shot.
• The Casanova: Skye loves the ladies. Quick is also one by accident.
  • In Quick's case, it's discussed that all the men in his family have this innate ability to attract women sexually. In one arc, Quick's Dad warns him about this before getting jumped by his wife and her two sexy classmates who drag him off for some sexy time, with him screaming for Quick to "tell his story".
• Catchphrase: More so at the beginning, Chrissy has been known to use b***nuggets.
• Cat Fight: Although one of them is a literal cat, Chrissy dukes it out with Amanda on the tennis court as seen at the start of this page.
• Characterization Marches On: Best example would have to be Mitzu as she was originally a hired gun on this page ; however, it is later revealed on this page that she took the job as personal beef with Reiko. Even more later when it's revealed she is a pizza delivery ninja alongside Nick's sister Yuriko.
• Cheerful Child: Yuriko fits the role perfectly, just so long as you don't upset her with success.
• Clingy Jealous Girl: Chrissy, at the start of the dating scene with Quick, is enraged whenever another woman comes onto Quick or is too friendly with him.
• Cloudcuckoolander: Yuriko fits the role prefectly, especially with her antics towards her brother.
• Comically Missing the Point: Reiko gets angry that Skye was at a high end strip club. Jazmin smirks about Reiko accusing Skye of being unfaithful, but then Reiko reveals she's angry Skye is at the strip club without bringing her along, causing Jazmin to faceplant.
• Comically Missing the Point: Yuriko when she brings up Nick dumping Mitzu and again whenever she invites Kia, another of Nick's ex-girlfriends, over to the house late at night.
• Comic-Book Time: Despite the lack of time references, one can discern that some time has passed with certain events, such as Lionna's pregnancy and some members graduating from college.
• Creator's Show Within a Show: Mastergodai's other webcomic Knuckle Up is a cheesy sci-fi show in the Rascals universe. With the Gender Bent protagonist played by a pair of Half-Identical Twins.
• Crush Blush: After the fiasco with a prank, Quick does blush as Chrissy walks away to change.
• Dark and Troubled Past: Chrissy reveals to Quick her trust issues stems from her relationship with Cody, who lost his way when he became rich, cheated on Chrissy with Amanda, and eventually tried to sex her out to a buddy. It all starts right with a flashback here.
• A Day in the Limelight: Nick and Lionna get their own arc for the arrival of their newborn children at the start of this page.
• Deadpan Snarker: Amanda towards Chrissy due to their history, as evident on this page.
• Disproportionate Retribution: Former villain Trevor suffers this after making another unsuccessful attempt at asking Jennifer out, Jen's response? She sets up an impromptu photoshoot of Trevor featuring Jessica and Violet, heavily implied to be against his will. Given Trevor's prior villain status and the genders at play in the scene he has gotten very little sympathy from the audience.
• Distracted by the Sexy: This happens throughout the entire series.
• Dream Sequence: Chrissy day dreams of Quick introducing her to his parents and then subsequently making out.
• Dude Looks Like a Lady: Thanks to the power of Issyvision, Skye temporarily does look like a lady. See it here.
• Embarrassing Old Photo: Jazmin was left bewildered on this old page when Mitzu shows her the photo she used to track her down. The contents of the photo were a mystery until Reginald later blurted out that it was of Jazmin having a drunk make-out session with Reiko.
• Erotic Dream: Despite Jazmin denying Quick to be a potential boyfriend, she gets a dream where she suddenly finds herself naked as Quick in full bishounen mode comes over to make beautiful love with her.
• Fangirl: Issy just adores Reiko.
• Fanservice: Pretty much all the pages of Rascals showcases some stellar curves.
• Fanservice Faux Fight: The battle between Jazmin and Reiko at the mall.
• Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: The characters wear full outfits, including shoes.
• Gag Penis: Skye is implied to be packing some serious heat downstairs. Reiko comments that he could lift weights with it as well.
• Girl-on-Girl is Hot: Reiko and Jazmin due to Kissing Under the Influence. When Quick and Skye find this out...
  Quick: You two DID WHAT!?
  Skye: AND WHERE WAS I!?
• G-Rated Sex: Zig-Zagged. While the comic have moments where characters definitely had done it, it is cut and show both in bed afterwards, but one chapter depicts Quick and Jazmin having a sparring match in her family's dojo without explicit shots but still in full view, another happens between Quick and Raven.
• Happily Adopted: Subverted; for as much love and comfort, even getting a high position at Tailz (this world's equivalent of Playboy) Jen has a strained relationship with her biological mother Takari "Taki", whom comes to visit in the (as of this writing) latest chapter's page. As she hopes she [Taki] came to visit more, makes one who saw her as bitchy older sister to Quick really question how much she is hiding her frustration with Quick's luck of having both biological parents be there for him.
• How Dad Met Mom: Starting on this page the comic goes on a random How I Me Your Mother-like episode, keen eyed readers figured out this was when Jennifer was conceived on a side NSFW piece^*cannot link due to the No Lewdness, No Prudishness showing what happened in the 30 minutes pass in this page.
• Humble Pie: On this page, Reginald Wolfbane, a amateur Kickboxing champion challenges Nathan "Nate" Nash, to a after-school duel, Nate proving his superior ninjitsu skills defeats the former with a single Capoeira-style mule kick humbling the arrogant jerk who was trying to win Lucy Kane from Nate.
• Improbable Age: Lucy "Lucky" Kane was shown to be a teenager when she first met the toddler age Kimmy and Nate in page 448, flash forward to page 782 and Lucy is shown to have hardly aged at all with the now high school aged Kimmy and Nate.
• Interrupted Declaration of Love: Just as Reiko was about to confess to Skye after getting back together, Chrissy interrupts them to say her goodbyes.
• Interspecies Romance: Seen throughout the comic.
  • Skye the tiger and Reiko the bunny.
  • Quick's parents are a squirrel father and cat mother.
  • Chrissy's parents are a husky father and a cat mother.
  • Quick is a cat/squirrel hybrid with, in no short order, Chrissy the cat, Raven the mouse, Jazmin the bunny, and Amanda the goat.
  • Nick is a dog and Liona is an ocelot.
  • Jennifer's mother revealed to be a Red fox and her father a Squirrel.
• Intoxication Ensues: When Jazmin gets drunk even on a small amount of alcohol, she hics and does stuff out of character, such as coming onto Quick too strongly. A wasted Raven also talks incoherently at one point.
  Raven: I swear to drunk I'm not God!
• Karma Houdini: Jennifer, Jessica and Violet never faced any sort of comeuppance for their prior altercation with Trevor.
• Kissing Under the Influence: Reiko and Jazmin are both guilty of this. The kicker? It was with each other.
• Lady Looks Like a Dude: Shiro when she was first introduced.
• Leeroy Jenkins: Issy when she challenges Reiko to a fight and touches a nerve as starting on this page and the subsequent pages.
• Lethal Chef: Chrissy is a horrible cook. People get scared when she announces that she'll cook something, begging her not to do it.
• Longest Pregnancy Ever: Both in terms of real world time as well as in-universe. Reiko was confirmed to be pregnant before the timeskip in page 602, which released in 2021. Fast forward to 2025's page 803 and it seems like Reiko just recently gave birth to her daughter, with Godai himself stating that this takes place around the same time as the previous chapter focusing on the teenage Nate & Kimmy.
• Long-Lived: Primal sapiens have life expectancies of well over three centuries, as explained in Raven's post-time skip class.
• Love Confession: Quick finally confesses his feelings for Chrissy.
• Move Along, Nothing to See Here: The moment when Reiko interrupts Lionna and Chrissy's practice on this page.
• My Friends... and Zoidberg: This happens to Issy when she's invited to join Skye, Jenny, and Reiko for a private photo shot seen here
• Ninja: Ninjas do exist in this world in the form of clans. Reiko, Jazmin, and Kyoko are all ninjas of the same clan.
• Played for Comedy: Chrissy learns her father saw her and Quick's "private session photos" accidentally leak via printing of the latest edition of Tailz.
• Polyamory: The current dating situation with Quick, Raven, Chrissy, and Jazmin. And now Amanda is thrown into the mix.
• The Rival: Jazmin and Reiko have a sisterly rivalry with their ninja skills.
• Sex Sells: if it has nice hips, Buxom Beauty Standard and or Moe, Jen will recruit it to Tailz (this world's version of Playboy magazine).
• Sliding Scale of Silliness vs. Seriousness: Ususally towards the silly end, but some chapters have been known to be extermely serious in drama and real life situations.
• Spin-Offspring: starting with Page 779, the comic shifts the focus after a Time Skip, to Liona and Nick's twins: Nathan "Nate" and Kimberly "Kimmy/Kim" and their own Rascals misadventures in their last years of High school.
• Squee: When Lucky meets the kids on this page here.
• Stacy's Mom: Jazz explaining that's the usual reaction to any guy who sees her mother Kyoko for the first time; also Josh when he claims he grew out of his crush of Chrissy's mom only to immediately ask for her hand in marriage when he meets her again after so many years
• Super-Speed: Reiko gains incredible speed when she goes into her demonic mode, as seen during her fight with Issy.
• Super-Strength: Reiko gains incredible strength when she goes into her demonic mode, as seen during her fight with Issy.
• Sweet Polly Oliver: In order to keep her promise with Jazmin's feelings, Shiro disguises herself as a man. It is revealed on this page here.
• Tears of Blood: Played for laughs when Quick and Amanda watch an unlabeled videotape, revealed to be a recording of Jennifer (Quick's half-sister) having rough sex with an unknown man. Promptly shutting it off, Amanda gets worried when she noticed Quick crying bloody tears after glimpsing at the video.
• Thanks for the Mammary: How Quick first meets Jazmin. She was dizzy after her duel against Reiko that she faints, right in Quick's direction who quickly catches her by her breasts.
• Through a Face Full of Fur: All the men and women can easily blush through a face full of fur. Pretty much on any page too.
• Time Skip: Between pages 778 and 779 Nick and Liona's kids go from preschool to high school.
• World of Buxom: Pretty much the majority of female characters in Rascals have a Buxom Beauty Standard figure, especially Koyoko and Reiko.
