Leslie and Brianne are the stars of a Webcomic created by Keith John Stack. The characters first appeared in a 2005 Newgrounds Web Animation called Wacky Lesbian Hour. Stack later published a Wacky Lesbian Hour webcomic from 2010 to 2011. In 2022, the comics received a surge in popularity when Stack published new comics on Twitter.

The comics feature Hot-Blooded Leslie Muto and drooling Dumb Blonde Brianne, a lesbian couple who live in a run-down house in Yonkers, New York. The comic often delves into Anti-Humor, grossout humor, and surrealism. Some installments are Not Safe for Work.

A new animated Wacky Lesbian Hour episode has been released in January 2025 to Newgrounds and Youtube.

Leslie and Brianne contains examples of:

• 15 Minutes of Fame: In Episode 2, the girls become a "local media sensation" after Brianne gets a free soda from a winning bottle cap. The media scrum includes Brianne getting an interview with Conan O'Brien and cutting a movie with Will Ferrell. In the end, Leslie takes the downfall very hard as she plucks and eats one of Brianne's eyeballs.
• Amazing Technicolor Population: Leslie's skin is unusually yellowish.^note for a Caucasian person
• Bait-and-Switch:
  • One NSFW comic has Brianne reenacting Goatse and trying to get Leslie to look, only to show that she has a wedding ring to propose to her inside her gaping anus.
  • Another strip has Leslie tell Brianne not to eat a lasagna she pulled out of the oven as she makes a quick trip to the store. Instead, Brianne poops on it.
  • The 2025 Wacky Lesbian Hour episode has a demon chase the two heroines into a room in the middle of a Scooby-Dooby Doors corridor. The scene lingers for a couple seconds and then cuts to the three still being in that same room.
• Celebrity Resemblance: In one story arc, Brianne gets mistaken for Taylor Swift after she breaks her glasses and takes them off.
• Continuity Nod: At the start of Bloodlines, the demon-summoning flute from the 2025 short can be seen on the floor next to Leslie and Briane's bed.
• Distaff Counterpart:
  • Word of God said on Tumblr that they're basically Beavis and Butt-Head as a lesbian couple.
  • In another comic, Brianne questions if she and Leslie are "a cheap knockoff of Ren and Stimpy".
• Driven to Suicide: At the end of the first Wacky Lesbian Hour short, Leslie shoots herself after being diagnosed with "YOUR MOM". Of course, she comes back to life before the second short.
• Dumbass Has a Point: In Wacky Lesbian Bloodlines, the conflict between Leslie and Mr. Muto is solved by Brianne pointing out that Ness's stats at max level are greater than both Ninten's and Lucas's, thus making him the strongest Mother protagonist.
• Dumb Blonde: Brianne. Somewhat downplayed in that she's rather nerdy looking instead of being a stereotypical bombshell.
• Early-Installment Weirdness: Like many Newgrounds properties made by teenagers in the 2000s, the early strips and animations had a much harder edge to them. While the strips are still pretty risqué, the girls had a more freewheeling attitude toward murder, suicide, and random violence. Not to mention that Keith Stack voiced everybody, from Leslie's semi-Monty Python-in drag falsetto to Brianne's Cartman-esque nasalness. According to the Wacky Lesbian Hour wiki, these works "are regularly disregarded by Stack as juvenilia."
• Epic Fail:
  • June 29, 2022: Brianne tries playing Five-Finger Fillet, only to gouge her eye with the knife.
  • In the 2025 short, Leslie's unseen boss is incapable of using the fax machine without getting his testicles caught in it.
• Fan Disservice: Stack sometimes draws the girls naked and/or having sex, but very rarely is it played for anything other than yucks or laughs.
• Faux Horrific:
  • Leslie is in tears after visiting her grandmother because the latter doesn't turn her TV's motion smoothing off. This prompts Brianne to give her a sympathetic hug.
  • A strip about Leslie eating a potato chip and getting a crumb in her eye is prefaced with a Content Warning that "the subject matter may be difficult for some to handle."
  • Bloodlines starts with Leslie having a nightmare over a heated argument she had with her dad. It later turns out that their argument was over who was the strongest between Ninten and Lucas. Mr. Muto also isn't particularly fond of the cooking channel he's stuck watching, seeing it as an affront to Italian cuisine.
• Fish Eyes: Brianne is consistently depicted with these eyes to indicate her stupidity. If both eyes are focused, you know something's wrong.
• Gag Nose: Leslie has quite a large, pointed nose, and she's one wacky lesbian.
• Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: Brianne is a carefree airhead while Leslie is the irritable Straight Man (or at least as straight as a character in this comic's world can be).
• Happily Married: The two women got married in 2023.
• Hypocritical Humor: Leslie throws a major temper tantrum◊ over the Academy Awards presenters' infamous comments about animation. She cries and screams about how animation is not for babies until she is soothed with a beer bottle.
• Imagine Spot: Leslie, after another day of her Twitter rants and Brianne playing video games, imagines what their lives would be like if they were "filthy stinking rich." The girls would end up doing the exact same things as before, now in a slightly nicer house surrounded by piles of cash and gold bars and wearing some bling. Even one of their "pet" centipedes has a top hat.

• Inconsistent Coloring: Leslie and Brianne's couch is lavender most of the time, but will occasionally change to a completely different color.
• Jiggle Physics: Happens a lot in the animated shorts, especially with Leslie. Exaggerated in Bloodlines when Leslie is in her loose nightgown and they bounce at even the slightest movement.
• Karmic Jackpot: In a February 2024 arc, a Taylor Swift superfan rushes to Brianne's aid when the latter loses her glasses, causing her to look like the singer. Both get bullrushed by paparazzi before Leslie gives Brianne new glasses, causing the reporters to wither into dust. The superfan is embarrassed over his confusion until the "real-ass" Swift shows up as still photos and hires him as her bodyguard for the Super Bowl.
• Major Injury Underreaction: May 29, 2024: Brianne tries to fix the sink's garbage disposal by digging her hand in. She gets her hand carved into a stump spewing rivulets of blood. She shrugs it off and tries again, only to get her other hand shredded, which she also shrugs off all cool-like.
• Phlegmings: Brianne has drool perpetually hanging from her mouth.
• Punny Name: Leslie and Brianne are lesbians.
• Rambunctious Italian/Spicy Latina: A variation with the Italian/Puerto Rican Leslie. Her short temper – from her constant Twitter / X rants to holding the reader at gunpoint – fits the stereotypes, though her unexplained British accent and more posh mannerisms make this differ ever so slightly.
• Self-Deprecation: Leslie◊ uses The Monkey's Paw to wish that everyone in the world would read the comic. The paw accomplishes this by making everyone in the world stupid.

  Anderson Cooper: (post-wish) Duuuh, experts are still uncertain how the global IQ average plummeted overnight.
• Serious Business: Wacky Lesbian Bloodlines reveals that the most powerful Mother protagonist is an incredibly sensitive topic for Leslie.
• Shout-Out:
  • One strip◊ has Brianne exclaiming "Lost another loan to Ditech!" while losing at Battleship. The next strip◊ has Leslie holding the reader at gunpoint until they laugh at the reference.
  • Brianne whacks Big Pussy.
    Leslie: No, Brianne, I asked you to wax my pussy!
  • While trudging the sewers in the "taking out the trash" arc, Brianne confronts the ghost of Regis Philbin in a game of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
  • This strip from Twitter features a cameo from Joel and Phil from Bonus Stage.
  • In the 2025 Wacky Lesbian Hour episode, Hazbin Hotel is said to have influenced many people into performing rituals to summon singing demons. Brianne tries it by blowing a single toot on a spiked flute but gets a hostile demon instead. Thankfully, it relents when it finds Brianne's prison tattoo, causing it to gush about the show before teleporting away.
  • Brianne asks Leslie at one point if the music in Dynamite Headdy sounds like "Rhayader Goes to Town".
  • The demon that Brianne summons in 2025's Wacky Lesbian Hour leaves at the end via the Doom teleportation effect.
  • Leslie and Brianne's house features a framed portrait of Grey Leno in the 2025 short.
  • One comic opens on Leslie and Brianne after a night of binge drinking and binge watching Monk on Netflix.
  • In Bloodlines, the scene with Leslie reading the letter from her dad is a parody of the opening scene from Super Mario 64.
  • One comic has a squad of paparazzi gang up on Brianne when she loses her glasses, who they (and a protective superfan) think is Taylor Swift. Once Leslie gives her new glasses, the reporters melt like the Nazi commanders in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
• Simpleton Voice: Brianne has a nasally, high-pitched voice.
• Stylistic Suck: The artwork is intentionally crude. If the file names are any indication, the comic is drawn in MS Paint.
• Sudden Anatomy: The creator has said that Leslie and Brianne can both grow a penis when it's funny.
• Take a Third Option: Brianne goes to a voting booth in the Sept. 15, 2024 strip. She casts a write-in for "Aqui Hoy" instead of either of that year's candidates because that was the most visible of the "names" she saw on the way in.
• Take That!:
  • In response to internet creators promoting what they call "hogwash", the girls insult Raid: Shadow Legends until they get paid to stop.
  • When the girls find out that Netflix is adding commercials, their first reaction is to laugh at the fact that people pay for streaming services when they could simply use torrents.
  • A Jan. 3, 2011 strip has the girls cheer a snow day that results in the cancellation of school, work, and $#!+ My Dad Says.
  • This comic was drawn in response to a controversial tweet by Electronic Arts about single-player games.
  • One NSFW comic has Brianne peeing on the face of Pamela Paul, then a New York Times columnist who wrote several pieces criticized as transphobic between 2022-24.
    • She also pees on a Twitter / X verification badge for Nabisco, likely over ongoing labor disputes and discontinuing their Famous Chocolate Wafers in late 2023.
  • Brianne confronts a George W. Bush...bush that demands a recount of votes during the "taking out the trash" arc.
  • Aug. 15, 2022◊: While at the zoo, Brianne discovers on her phone that scientists found a cure for the common cold. Bad news: it's exclusive to the Epic Games store. Leslie (and a giraffe) are disgusted.
  • Leslie gets pissy over a PC game having a "tate mode", which is actually video of controversial influencer Andrew Tate saying "Duuuh, women bad!"
    • The girls get another joke at Tate's expense after his 2023 arrest. They both lament how there's no one to give men dating advice before they say to the viewer:
      Leslie: Uh, just be funny...Ask women out on dates and then be funny...
      Brianne: Thank you for attending our consultation. That'll be $2,000 USD, please.
  • An animated comic has Brianne on a treadmill showing Leslie her "impression of a Nintendo Switch game", which is the same walk cycle with missing frames.
  • Much of the 2025 short focuses on how much Brianne loves Hazbin Hotel. Brianne is a drooling simpleton and her adoration of the series draws exasperation from multiple characters, including her own wife.
  • In Bloodlines, Leslie remarks that the cooking channel her dad is stuck watching is at least better than the usual crap he watches. Once Leslie gets him the remote back, he changes the channel and it's revealed the usual crap he watches is a gaming reaction channel with an anime avatar.
• The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: In-Universe. May 15, 2024: The girls are watching a trashy reality show, where Leslie comments on its stars being "freaks" that "can't hear us." Sure enough, an obese man and scrawny woman say otherwise and throw a Molotov cocktail at the girls.
• This Is My Side: In the first short, Leslie paints a line on her cat so she and Brianne can get their own side of it. This apparently settles a dispute over which last name the girls should take.
• Trash of the Titans: The girls' house is infested with insects and rodents. The floors are covered with trash and half-eaten food, and there appears to be green slime growing on the walls.
• Unexplained Accent: Leslie has a British accent despite living in Yonkers, New York. Like everything else in the strip, this can be chalked up to the Rule of Funny. Keith Stack, in Twitter dialog, joked that it was the result of her "watching too many Keeping Up Appearances reruns." ^note or maybe she's just a dual citizen.
• Unfortunate Names: Brianne's last name is Cuntscuntscuntscuntscuntsshitfuckcunts.
• Unwanted Gift Plot: The air fryer arc is set off by Leslie's boss giving the pair an air fryer as a wedding gift, unaware that they already have one. Brianne is happy having an extra one for their bedroom, but Leslie doesn't want crumbs in their bed, so they try to get rid of it. After numerous attempts to give it away to someone else or destroy it, Leslie relents and lets Brianne keep it in the bedroom.
• Vomit Indiscretion Shot: Given the Gross-Out Show nature of the comic, count on vomit to be shown rather than hidden, as a rule of thumb.
  • In one strip, Brianne tries out a diarrhea-flavored vape with predictable results.
  • Leslie vomits after remembering that 2024 is an election year.
• You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Leslie. An OC reference sheet from July 2023 shows her natural brown hair.
