Hazard Horizon is an ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog fan Webcomic written and illustrated by WNACN
. It’s an original story taking place after Sonic Frontiers, with The Final Horizon’s ending in mind.
What was supposed to be the 'Final Horizon', opens up to far more hazardous ones. After the events of Starfall Island, Sonic is noticing some odd effects lingering within himself. But that's not all. He discovers that something has plagued the emeralds since he last had them. Realizing that they're incredibly unstable, Sonic sets off to find and fix the seven emeralds before this dangerous power falls into the wrong hands. What starts as an adventure, becomes a nightmare.

Tropes of Hazard Horizon
- Establishing Character Moment: It is quickly established at the start of the story what kind of character Sonic is, from his selfless, heroic actions against the End shown in a flashback, to his thoughtful and kind hearted gestures towards Larry, an original character who was struggling to afford any luxuries, giving him some food and money before heading off.
- Flashback: The comic starts off with Sonic recalling the events of Sonic Frontiers, specifically the moment when he took down both Supreme and the End.
- New Superpower: A combination of the Green Chaos Emerald’s energy and the traces of Cyber Energy still within Sonic allows him to obtain a new ability, helping him escape Cyberspace in issue one.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Sonic is yelled at by Larry to stop after almost putting an end to Silver using his newly obtained powers, telling Sonic to not do something he will regret.
