Luke Davidson (born January 28, 2003) is a Canadian content creator well known for his signature Gasp! and Psychotic Smirk which are featured at the end of many of his TikToks.
His TikToks feature some of the following tropes:
- Abusive Parents:
- Many of the parents in his skits are quick to use violence to discipline their children or are otherwise very unpleasant people.
- Averted in one skit where the dad merely grounds his son from his phone after catching him doing an inappropriate dance rather than resorting to more violent measures.
- Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: Invoked. In one skit, after a lady asks her boyfriend if he thinks he's pretty or ugly, he thinks she's both (as it, pretty ugly).
- Door Slam of Rage: Deconstructed. In one skit, a kid slams their door shut by mistake after arguing their parent. They try to hastily explain to their dad that it was unintentional, but he's too angry to listen and promptly beats him with his belt.
- Gasp!: In a lot of his skits, someone will gasp in shock after being insulted or outsmarted by the other character.
- Hope Spot: In one skit, a kid begs his mother to get rid of a spider in the bathroom. It initially seems like she successfully squashes it with some paper towels, but after she lifts it up, the spider has disappeared. They decide to burn the house down.
- Loophole Abuse: In one skit, a man is being a chased by a guy who wants him harm. He then hands his chaser a pair of scissors and reminds him that he can't run with scissors, to which annoys him long enough for the chasee to make their getaway.
- Oh, Crap!: In one skit, after a kid lazily copies his friend's test answers, he has this answer when the teacher asks him to explain it better so he can still grade the question.
- Psychotic Smirk: His signature move is to do one of these after every skit.
- Surprisingly Happy Ending: In one skit, a kid is making a video to post on TikTok late at night when his babysitter angrily storms in and asks if he's filing a TikTok. He worriedly asks to not tell his mom that he is, to which she quickly calms down and merely asks if she can participate in it.
