It stars a girl named Betty who has an interest in the supernatural, having summoned a demon and looked into ghost hunting. While doing a ghost hunting job, she meets a ghost named Mary whom she befriends. After that, the three work toward looking for thrills in life.

Before the series itself premiered a series of shorts were made featuring Betty and Seeka including how Seeka was summoned.

The pilot for series proper premiered on April 10th, 2026. The pilot and shorts correlated can be watched on Studio Wrong's Youtube channel.

Tropes:

• Bound to an Area: Mary states that any ghost that enter the mansion is unable to leave while humans are able to leave just fine, stating this to be the reason why she can't leave the mansion. However, her statement gets contradicted by the fact that Seeka, a demon, is able to leave while Betty, a human, is not.
• Chekhov's Gag: The start of the pilot has Betty declare that she would blind the ghost and then shoot it in the butt in order to defeat it. When Mary is fighting Walter to save herself and Betty from him, she ends up doing exactly these things by jamming the walkie talkie into his eye and then rocketing a fork into his butt.
• Early-Installment Weirdness: "The Collision", which introduces Betty and Seeka, has them unnamed. When it comes to summoning Seeka, it's shown that Betty was able to draw the circle just fine while needing her own blood before opting to tomato juice. In the pilot, it's established that Betty struggled with drawing the circle and that the spell demanded animal blood. Furthermore, none of the shorts before the pilot have English voice acting, only being in Japanese if there happens to be any dialogue.
• Fake-Out Opening: The title appears over an opening shot that makes it look like you'll be getting straight horror. But even what appears to be Betty lying on the ground dead and tied up is later revealed to have a completely different, and much funnier context.
• Fingore: When Seeka shows they can leave the mansion, Betty attempts to put her finger through the barrier, only to injure herself with the sound of her finger cracking from it.
• Foreshadowing:
  • In the opening scene, when Betty explains her brilliant plan to defeat the ghost they'll be hunting, Seeka remarks that Betty's more like a demon than they are. Later, Seeka is able to easily exit the barrier trapping supernatural creatures inside the house, while Betty cannot.
  • If you look out the front door of the mansion as Seeka walks in and out, there is a noticeable waveflow in the background. This hints at the barrier keeping Mary and Betty in as well as the fact that it has no effect on Seeka.
  • When Seeka makes a comment about the mirror, their reflection begins to look at them without them noticing, showing that it really is haunted.
• Freeze-Frame Bonus: If you pause right as the soda can is shown on the screen with a QR code, and then recreate the QR code manually and scan it (since scanning it off the screen doesn't work), it translates to "You are a detective!"
• Humans Are the Real Monsters: Played for Laughs when Seeka, in response to Betty's plan to defeat a ghost by stabbing it in the eye and then in the butt, claims she's more of a demon than they are.
• Imperfect Ritual: Betty half-assed the ritual she used to summon Seeka to Earth, substituting animal blood for tomato juice among other things. As a result, Seeka arrived halfway inside the floor and had to be pulled the rest of the way out by Betty, and was left stranded on Earth without their powers.
• Insane Troll Logic:
  • When Betty summoned Seeka, she used tomato juice in place of Animal Blood on the belief that tomato juice was nearly the same.
  • When Seeka asks Betty how she plans to hunt a ghost, Betty's idea of ghost hunting is to hit the ghost with a bat on the conclusion that since ghosts used to be human, they have all the same weaknesses as one. Specifically, her plan is to stab it in the eye, and then the butt. Mary inadvertently does exactly this to Walter, and it works.
• Instantly Proven Wrong: When Mary tells Betty and Seeka that Seeka won't be able to leave due to the house's curse due to them being a demon, Seeka shows to be able to leave just fine. In contrast, Mary also said humans are able to leave, yet Betty gets blocked by the barrier just like Mary despite still being alive. Whether this means that what Mary said is wrong or that Betty isn't human is left vague.
• Shout-Out:
  • The scenes of Mary and Betty hitting the barrier with crowbars, and Betty later ragdoll glitching in the barrier, are a reference to Garry's Mod, to the point of imitating the game's animations and sound effects.
  • The scene of Mary throwing a vase at Walter before pushing a piano down the stairs is taken straight out of Scary Movie.
• Speak of the Devil: How Betty summons Mary. Utilizing the classic urban legend, Mary reveals herself to Betty and Seeka in agitation over them disturbing her.
• Stealth Hi/Bye: Walter, the owner of the house Betty is hired to exorcize, appears out of nowhere without a sound right behind Betty, though he switfly apologizes for startling her. This is also Foreshadowing that he was Evil All Along.
• Summoning Ritual: Betty performed a demon summoning which resulted in Seeka. However, she attempted to substitute actual blood with tomato juice.
• Tele-Frag: A non-letal example; Seeka arrived on earth stuck inside the floor from the waist down as a result of Betty's Imperfect Ritual, and had to be pulled the rest of the way out by hand.
• Vomit Indiscretion Shot: At the end of the pilot, Mary gets carsick. While it looks like it would be a Vomit Discretion Shot as it pans to the outside of the car, the credits show that Mary had hurled on Betty's face and is still puking.
