Camp Buddy is a Boys' Love Visual Novel produced and published by BLits in November 2018. Originally, the game would be released in 2017, but, due to the successful crowdfunding campaign, the game release was rescheduled.
19 year old photography enthusiast Keitaro Nagame is excited to spend the season at Camp Buddy, a scout-themed summer camp. During his time camping he befriends his cabin-mates (eventually romancing one) while also discovering that the camp is on the verge of bankruptcy. Can Keitaro find love, keep his friendships and stop the camp's seemingly imminent end?
Camp Buddy: Scoutmaster Season, a sequel game starring the camp's scoutmaster Yoshinori Nagira, was released in 2022.

- The Ace: Natsumi, to the point where even his nickname from Yoichi is “Mr. Perfect”. However, this is Played for Drama in a few ways. In the Hiro Route, Hiro briefly become jealous of how vocally Keitaro admires Natsumi's skills.
- Animal Motifs: Every camper and counselor is assigned an animal.
- Beach Episode: One chapter of the game takes place on a hiking trip to a nearby beach, showing off all the characters' different styles of swimsuit.
- Cast Full of Gay: All the male characters are presented as such.
- Cast Full of Pretty Boys: All the main and supporting characters are male, except Yuri.
- Childhood Friends: Keitaro and Hiro have known each other since Kindergarten. However, Keitaro is Oblivious to Love while Hiro blatantly wants to have a Relationship Upgrade and become an Official Couple.
- Color-Coded Characters: Every camper and counselor is assigned a color.

- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Yoichi, a lone wolf who looks out for himself first and doesn't care much about others. However, if someone outside his friend group makes fun of someone in it, he will jump to the latter's defense, even though he makes fun of them too.
- Massive Numbered Siblings: An Implied Trope with Goro Nomoru whose first name contains the kanji for “five” and “son”. This would not only hint that he has four older unseen brothers, but it leaves open the possibility of him having younger brothers, older sisters or younger sisters.
- The Nicknamer: Yoichi coins a nickname for pretty much every character in the game.

- Older Than They Look: All the characters in the game are 18 or older, despite acting and looking younger.
- Porn with Plot: Even with the hentai scenes being the selling point of the game, there is a whole story, filled with romance and drama, besides the "saving the camp" side-story.
- The Protagonist: Keitaro in the original game and Yoshinori in Scoutmaster Season.
- The Rival: Taiga and his friends in the first days of the game. Since Taiga first appears in the game, he express his spite and hatred against Keitaro, mainly because Keitaro is loved by everyone since the start by trying to help all the other campers, while he was mocked for doing the same. This is especially apparent in the sportsfest, when he leads the opposing team. His friends also mock and offend Keitaro whenever they can. This only changes in the late game, when Taiga regrets and is accepted by the main characters.
- Totally 18: Everyone at camp is a legal adult despite it not being very obvious from a character design aspect when it comes to the main cast.
- Scout-Out: The set of the story is a scout-themed summer camp.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: Aiden. All the time.
