Party of Sin is a 2012 Platform Game made and published by Crankshaft Games.
The player can choose between seven characters, each of them based on one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Characters come with distinct abilities and powers and are swappable on the fly to solve puzzles. The goal is to travel from Hell to Heaven while crossing four different kingdoms and fighting against creatures like angels and demons.
Party of Sin contains examples of:
- Big Eater: Gluttony can swallow enemies.
- Co-Op Multiplayer: Up to four players can play at the same time. As the game describes it, it's more of a coopetitive multiplayer, as you can actually hurt your allies.
- Dumb Muscle: Wrath's only ability is to smash enemies and things and is not very useful in puzzle contexts.
- Equipment Upgrade: By collecting God's forbidden apples, you can upgrade the characters' stats.
- Eye Beams: Envy's main ability, which burns enemies and obstacles.
- Grappling-Hook Pistol: Greed can use it to grab on to platforms and swing around.
- Master Swordsman: Pride's weapon is the sword and he also considers himself the leader of the group.
- The Paralyzer: Lust can stun enemies through her beauty.
- Puzzle-Platformer: It belongs to the genre.
- Time Master: Sloth can slow down time.
