- Adaptational Abomination:
- Whitty's second form is outright monstrous, with him having a Nightmare Face featuring a row of fangs, at least one bright eye and what seems to be hair (though it could also be an effect from an explosion, since he's... well, a bomb), something canon Whitty clearly doesn't have.
- Mickey already had a distorted Nightmare Face in his home mod in a similar vein to gorixgorix's recreation of Suicide Mouse, but his appearance here is somehow worse. He has layers of skin attached to his mouth –which has just a few number of teeth separated from each other–, blood dripping from his face and eyes that transition between hollow sockets and blank sclera.
- Art Shift: In Unknown Suffering, Boyfriend's design matches the rubber hose style his grandfather has in Wednesday's Infidelity.
- Big Ol' Unibrow: While Boyfriend in canon has notorious brows that turn into an unibrow when confident or angry, here he has an unibrow that's so large it expands beyond his head. The only time he goes back to having his normal eyebrows is in Unknown Suffering (albeit in a rubber hose design).
- Let's Duet: Boyfriend is accompanied by Hank in Psycho Circus to take Tricky down.
- Precision F-Strike: Tricky's Big "SHUT UP!" to Hank in Psycho Circus comes with an F-bomb.
- Suddenly Speaking: There's this exchange between Hank and Tricky mid-Psycho Circus:Tricky: HAAAANK!!! SHUT THE FUCK UUUUUP!!! YOU DON'T KILL CLOWN!!! CLOWN KILLS YOU!!!
Hank: Piss off! - Stylistic Suck: The intro cutscene for Psycho Circus is that of PNG images of Tricky and Hank clashing towards each other simulating a "fight scene".
