A Night with ATF: The Dark Hours

The game has two different story campaigns, called "Normal Night" and "Nightmare Night": the first one takes place in the Adventure Pals Pizzeria, and sees its protagonist, the animatronic Adventure Toy Foxy (ATF for short), recruit her friends to defeat a mysterious jester known as Capitano Nox, who plans to absorb the building's spiritual energy to Take Over the World; the second one serves as a Prequel to the first, seeing Nightmare and Nightmare Mangle as the protagonists as they try to kill Balloon Boy after the latter summons them to kill Freddy and his friends, only for the Enragement Child to summon Nightmare Fredbear to do the job instead.

A public demo was initially released on January 6, 2025, with the full game eventually releasing on December 3 of the same year.

The game provides example of:

• Affably Evil: Despite being demons, both Nightmare and Nightmare Mangle are genuinely affable individuals who do what they do not out of malicious intent but simply because it's their job. Molten Freddy is also decently polite towards the protagonists. Baby, Nightmarionne and Nightmare Fredbear, on the other hand...
• Animate Inanimate Object: Many enemies in the game are living objects, namely the Party Hats. There isn't really an explanation for most of them, although it's likely that they are haunted.
• Big Bad Duumvirate: Balloon Boy and Nightmare Fredbear for the Nightmare Night.
• The Big Bad Shuffle: Nox serves as the initial Big Bad for the Normal Night, starting the conflict by invading the pizzeria to absorb the souls haunting the place in order to become all-powerful and rule over the timeline. Then the demon Nox summons, Nightmare, becomes the new Big Bad as he tries to kill the jester, ending up at odds with ATF and the others because they don't believe Nox deserves to die. In the True Ending route yet another villain appears: Nightmarionne, Nightmare's boss, who proves to be far more dangerous and evil than both his minion and Nox, becoming the story's final Big Bad.
• Bittersweet Ending: The Nightmare Night's ending: Nightmare and Nightmare Mangle manage to defeat Nightmare Fredbear before the latter can kill anyone, but it doesn't change the fact Nightmare had to kill who used to be his best friend, and it's clear this affects him a lot.
• Defeat Means Playable:
  • Downplayed with Wolfie. She will join the party regardless of whether you defeat her or not during her boss battle.
  • Bedtime Bunny becomes a party member after defeating him.
  • Nox becomes a playable character after pulling a Heel–Face Turn following his second boss battle.
  • In the True Ending route, Nightmare decides to join forces with the protagonists after Nightmarionne's appearance (which replaces Nightmare's second boss fight).
  • If you defeat Michael Jackson before entering the office the second time and don't use his hat, you will get to fight Nightmare as him.
• Deus ex Machina: Michael Jackson pulls this in the Joke Ending, coming out of nowhere to save ATF from Nightmare and fighting him at her place. Nightmare himself states how ridiculous it is by the end of it.
• Homage: The game as a whole is this to the Five Nights at Fuckboy's series, using many similar premises (like the whole RPG aspect and Party Hats being enemies) and even makes some of its characters appear as cameos (namely Freddy & friends, Balloon Boy and Michael Jackson).
• Multiple Endings: The Normal Night has four different endings.
  • Normal Ending: Obtained by completing the game after going into both the office and the factory without Michael's Hat. ATF and her friends face Nightmare a second time in the factory, defeating him for good. The heroes return home unharmed and they even allow Nox to stay with them. Nightmare Mangle then appears after the credits, lamenting the loss of her friend and giving the player a few hints to obtain the True Ending.
  • True Ending: Obtained by completing the game after going into the office without Michael's Hat but bringing it to the factory instead. After a second new encounter with Michael Jackson, the story changes completely from the that of the previous route, with ATF and her friends joining forces with Nightmare to defeat his boss, Nightmarionne. Once he's defeated, everyone can truly live Happily Ever After.
  • Michael Jackson Ending: Obtained by bringing Michael's Hat into the office before the second boss fight with Nox. As ATF stays behind to face Nightmare, Michael Jackson appears out of nowhere and fights Nightmare at her place. The game ends with Nightmare remarking how ridiculous this all is before dying.
  • Non-Canon Ending: Obtainable only by accessing a special zone via the Debug Room, which in turn can be accessed by pressing the first A on the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" banner on the stage, inserting a password obtained by Professor Party Hat in a secret room hidden behind a wall of the workshop. ATF and Hi face Freddy Fuckboy, who's trying to destroy the multiverse. Throughout the battle Freddy's friends join to help him, but so do ATF's and Hi's. Eventually our heroes are able to defeat Freddy & co., saving the multiverse.
• Recursive Fanfiction: Can basically be considered this to Five Nights at Fuckboy's given how many of the characters from those games appear in here.
• Time-Limit Boss: The final Magic Crystal is faced inside the incinerator, which gives ATF and her friends a limited amount of time to defeat the boss before the heat kills them.
• True Final Boss: Nightmarionne becomes the Final Boss instead of Nightmare in the Normal Night if you unlock the True Ending route.
