During the introduction cutscene for the Call of the Void game mod for Quake II, the Vadrigar requests The Machine (the player character from the official adventure Call of the Machine who reprises their role here) to act in their stead, as the Vadrigar cannot intervene to deliver punishment to the Strogg.
