- At one point, it's mentioned that the Resisty lost three ships and several squadrons yesterday. And it's implied that it's just some of the many losses they had to deal with since joining the Battle of Meekrob but have been unable to mourn for long before they have to get back out there.
- During their argument, it's shown that Tenn blames herself for what went wrong and thinks constantly about what she could've done differently. She knows that it's too late to think about those sorts of things but can't help regardless which Lard Nar agrees with. She also regrets not being there for Zim after Miyuki's death, even if the circumstances were out of her control.
