Kitty Cats is a Canadian children's puppet show that aired from 1991 to 1995. It originally aired on CBC in French as Pacha et Les Chats. In the United States, it aired on TLC's 90s Kids' Block "Ready Set, Learn". The series followed the adventures of Ricky and Tango, two cats, and their friends. Their main friend was Charlie, who was a dog. Their other friends were Flap, a bird; Rosie, also a dog; and Willy, a hedgehog.
This show provides examples of:
- Cat/Dog Dichotomy: Strangely, this is averted, most of the time. The cats and dogs get along without problems.
- Just a Kid: Ricky and Tango, but so is Charlie, but he acts slightly older and even goes to school. Flap seems to be the most adult acting of the bunch
- No Antagonist: It is a kids show with a limited cast and the fact that the main characters are two cats and a dog, who are often portrayed as enemies.
