"Peggy": You are condemning us both to death!
The Doctor: Not quite. I time-looped this pocket dimension so that no matter what happens, you always end up back at square one. Nothing you do can alter or delay the course of events. What has happened will happen, must happen.
"Peggy": You intend to trap us here forever? For all eternity?
The Doctor: The time loop will continue until I return and deactivate it. Until then, you must remain here and learn what it is to be human. Find out how it feels to suffer as a human suffers, find out how it feels to fear as a human fears, find out what it feels like to die.
"Peggy": How long must we wait?
The Doctor: However long it takes. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have two friends who'll be beginning to wonder where I've got to. I'd start work on that fallout shelter if I were you...

"Fives didn't answer, just kept glaring at Fox with a suspicious expression, daring him to admit it first. It was as if neither of them wanted to voice it aloud for fear that they'd misjudged the other person's implication. So they just kept playing this game, waiting and baiting and hoping the other would confirm they weren't actually crazy.

But Fox was getting really tired of games.

He wrenched his bucket off, slamming it down on the table as he plopped onto the bench opposite Fives. 'Just spit it out already,' Fox groused.

'Fine,' Fives conceded. 'We're stuck in a time loop.'

The confession hovered in the air, comical and crazy and true."

As it turned out, Middle Earth was under a bizarre curse; perhaps from a witch with a sick and twisted sense of humor. Every single time the nine walkers began their journey, a mysterious girl with impossible features and skills would end up with them. They always ended up under her love spell and in absolute awe of all her skills, power, beauty and whatever else made her into the most desirable lady ever. Because of this unnatural interference, time kept reverting itself and would continue to do so until the issue was resolved.

Dogma steps off the shuttle and lines up.

He could do this part in his sleep. What loop is this? Thirty-five? Thirty-six? He shouldn't be losing count yet, but he is so tired.

How long has it been since his first life?

He thinks about it a minute, arrives at "years," and decides to think about something else.

"You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life."

Old Lady: Dear, I have been to more weddings in my life than you can imagine...
Nyles: You might be surprised.

"I don't know what it is. It could be life, it could be death. It might be a dream, I might be imagining you, you might be imagining me, it could be purgatory, or a glitch in the simulation that we're both in. I don't know. So, I decided a while ago to sort of... give up and stop trying to make sense of things altogether, because, the only way to really live in this is to embrace the fact that nothing matters."

Daisy: I think I'm time looping. I, I've done this already. I've done this, already.
Simmons: Oh, well that's fun.
Sousa: It's actually creepy.

Coulson: The time drive is stuck. It keeps looping back on itself over and over again.
Daisy: Like feedback.
Coulson: I've been thinking about it like a record skipping. [strange look from Daisy] Every time I say that you give me the same look. Vinyl's back! You're supposed to know records again.

Anya: This whole day — has it gone by too quickly for you?
Buffy: No. No, I don't think that's exactly the problem.

Meglos: Flies trapped in amber. Not even the Doctor can escape a chronic hysteretic loop. I've caught him within a fold in in time. His only respite is the short period when the loop goes back to the start.
Grugger: Round and round, for all eternity.

"How long can I keep doing this, Clara? Burning the old me, to make a new one?"

"Yaz and the The Doctor": Time Loop.
"Dan": Groundhog Day. (Beat) Same difference.

Nathan: You're stuck in my se-
Audrey: Second-favourite Bill Murray movie, yeah we've had this conversation before.

Zari: Yeah, I don't have a plan, because nothing I do matters anyway. Sara always yells at me, nobody believes what I say, and Ray always trips on his platforms. I have no idea why I'm stuck in this time loop.
Nate: Time loop? You mean like "Groundhog Day"? [Zari shrugs] You don't know "Groundhog"... all right, it's a movie about this guy who lives the same day over and over and over again until he learns to be a better person. I know it sounds totally hacky. However, it's very well executed. (loud bang, and the ship shakes) What's that noise?
Zari: [wearily] Oh, that noise just means that we're all about to die.
Nate: All right, if what you're saying is true, and you find yourself in the loop again, find me and say the words "Groundhog Day".
[SCENE CHANGE]
Zari: I have something to tell you... "Hedgehog Day".
[Nate looks at her blankly]
Zari: Damn it, you told me if I said "Hedgehog Day", you would know what I was talking about!
Nate: Do you mean "Groundhog Day"? Why would I tell you to tell me about a Bill Murray movie?
Zari: I don't know! All I know is I'm stuck in this time loop!
Nate: Oh, like "Groundhog Day"! Okay, got it, okay.

Loki: O.B., how long will it take me to know everything that you know about mechanics, physics, and engineering?
O.B.: How much do you know?
Loki: Let's assume I don't know much, but I'm a fast learner and I'm a god.
Casey: Let's start at the beginning.
Loki: Start at the beginning.
O.B.: We don't have time. It's better if we work alone.
Loki: O.B., I understand. But if I had to know, I mean, I really, really, really had to know, how long would it take?
O.B.: ...Decades.
Victor Timely: C-c-centuries.
Loki: [deep breath]
Centuries Later
Mobius: [as Loki is rushing down the hall] Loki, I'm not questioning your surprisingly advanced engineering skills, but maybe O.B. should test that thing first?

Quentin: So, what, this is just some giant, blood-soaked Groundhog Day?
Fogg: You always bring up that fucking movie. I still haven't seen it. Now it's a point of pride.

Cat: So, what is it?
Kryten: I've never seen one before — no one has — but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
Rimmer: A white hole?
Kryten: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A black hole sucks time and matter out of the universe: a white hole returns it.
Lister: So, that thing's spewing time back into the universe?
Kryten: Precisely. That's why we're experiencing these curious time phenomena on board.

Lister: What time phenomena?
Kryten: Like just then, when time repeated itself.
Cat: So, what is it?

Carter: We haven't been to P4X-639.
O'Neill: Yes we have. 'No we haven't.' That's what you were gonna say.
Daniel: Of course that's what I was gonna say.
O'Neill: ...Ok, bad example.

Sam: Okay, look, yesterday was Tuesday, right? But today is Tuesday too!
Dean: Yeah. No. Good. You're totally balanced.

Guildenstern: You know your way around?
The Player: I've been here before.
Guildenstern: We're still finding our feet.

The Player: Precedent.

"How many years... How many years? Oh, how many years I've waited. How many times has this been repeated? How many hundreds of times?! How many THOUSANDS?! ONE HUNDRED THOUSANDS?! MILLIONS?! TRILLIONS?! I've repeated this worthless comedy show more times than I can count! Hmhmhmhm... Yes... Just a little bit more... Just a bit more, and it will be within reach — the lost "Embryo". Once that's done, this shitty, worthless comedy show will end."

"W-What just happened?! Everything has... started over..."

You: You're lucky I'm in a time loop, because otherwise I'd be super dead.
Slate: And you're lucky I don't have you grounded for medical reasons, because I have no idea what you're talking about.

Metis: My name is... Metis. As you can see, you and I are essentially sister units. In fact, you are the reason why I'm here. I've come to save you from this hopeless situation.
Aigis: Hopeless situation? Did... something happen while I was asleep? Speaking of which, how long was I asleep?
Metis: Since our battle ended, I'd say about a day and a half has passed. ...Yet today is still March 31st. Tomorrow, and all the days after it, will also be March 31st. At this rate, it will last forever. Didn't you feel it? The moment time looped?
Aigis: Looped? Do you mean what we felt at midnight? Then... are you saying that the same day is repeating itself!?
Akihiko: That's not all... We haven't been able to leave the dorm either. That makes two ways we're trapped here.
Aigis: What!? But how could that—!?
Metis: Both space and time are being distorted by the Abyss of Time beneath us.
