Did you know that your average rat can chew through a steel drain pipe?
Surprisingly, for a movie that's Denser and Wackier than the original, yes:
- The red Mustang driver trying out to be a henchman for Verone's operation gets crushed under an semi-truck and then the remains of the car cause a grey Corvette to crash headfirst into it, and it comes completely out of nowhere. Imagine how often this happens in a universe like this...
- Darden (the Challenger driver) planning to kill or at least shoot both Brian and Roman just for the chance to be an underling to Verone.
- The scene where Verone forces the corrupt cop to give him a 15-minute window for the movement of his money by torturing him with a metal bucket with a live rat (pictured). Once the bucket gets hot enough, the rat will burrow into the cop's body to escape. Thank God, it doesn't happen, but Verone threatens to do that to the cop's family if he doesn't do what he wants and the cop's stomach is all scratched up afterwards. The worst part is this was reportedly
a real torture method, used particularly during the Red Terror era.
