Puppet Combo is infamous for their absolutely brutal style of game design that's almost guaranteed to make you scream at least once.
WARNING: UNMARKED SPOILERS AHEAD.
- The page image comes from Nun Massacre's easiest to achieve ending. If the player isn't paying attention to their surroundings adequately, they may miss and fall into a barbed wire pit built into the stairwell. After a few seconds, The Nun will peak her head around the corner accompainied by a flurry of ghostly whispers, before promptly stabbing you to death.
- The entirity of Feed Me Billy is essentially one long "Nightmare Fuel" moment.
- The Hole serves as the crutch of the story and serves its position well as this other-worldly, distgusting flesh-pit with impossibly sharp teeth and an undying hunger for human flesh. The electronic noises that play when you enter its room certainly do not help make it less threatning.
- Billy, (AKA the player,) can choose how they want to kill their victims. Either go for an immediate death via headshot, or prolong their suffering by blasting their kneecaps and watching them struggle away from you in horrible pain. How fun!

◊ Justin takes with The Easter Ripper in the prologue. - Every on-screen death in the game is accompained by an intense score and horrific gore. Dana's decapitation, Gary's disembowelment and Tom being mauled to death by the zombified versions of all the children he tortured, molested, and killed.

- Both Nun Massacre and Murder House have the more realistic horrors of child sexual abuse.
- Mother Apollonia is an ill-tempered maniac who forces Janie to pee herself and smear her body with human feces, even going as far to make her walk around the boarding school naked.
- Tom, while in his Easter Ripper persona, kidnaps children from the mall and brings them to a homemade prison in his brother's basement. Down there, the player can find a tool board with torture devices and used sex toys...
