If You Had Seen the Bull's Troping Attempts You Would Have Stayed Away:

  • Album Intro Track: Bright Green Field begins with "Resolution Square," a brief snippet of a microphone swinging between guitar amps.
  • Epic Rocking: Their catalogue regularly creeps into songs greater than 4 minutes, with "Narrator" (8:28), "Undergrowth" (6:35), and "Well Met (Fingers Through the Fence)" (8:15) being stand-outs on their respective albums.
  • Large Ham: Ollie Judge tends to shout like a madman when singing, with "Houseplants" being a notable example.
  • Longest Song Goes Last: Cowards closes with "Well Met (Fingers Through the Fence)" (8:15).
  • Miniscule Rocking: Bright Green Field has both "Resolution Square" (0:50) and "The Flyover" (1:10).
  • Shout-Out:
  • Siamese Twin Songs: Cowards has "Fieldworks I" and "Fieldworks II".
  • Title Track: On Cowards.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: "Building 650" is this to Ryu Murakami's In The Miso Soup, up to and including involving a murderous American named Frank.
