Saviors (Music)
I'm with stupid and I'm all by myself, 'cause I'm special and I don't need your help
Saviors is the fourteenth studio album by the American rock band Green Day. It was released on January 19, 2024 through Reprise Records.

Following the poorly-received Father of All Motherfuckers, the album was seen as a large improvement from both fans and critics.

Five singles were released for the album: "The American Dream Is Killing Me", "Look Ma, No Brains!", "Dilemma", "One Eyed Bastard" and "Bobby Sox". Two more singles were released for Édition de Luxe: "Smash It Like Belushi" and "Ballyhoo".

I don't want to be a dead man troping:

  • Cluster F-Bomb: The album has six F-bombs - five in "Corvette Summer" and another in "Living in the '20s", with some milder profanities sprinkled elsewhere.
  • Deliberately Monochrome:
    • The cover, with only the text in purple.
    • The video for "Look Ma, No Brains" is mostly monochrome outside of briefly going purple towards the end.
  • Dissonant Serenity: The cover shows a boy shrugging with a grin on his face in front of a car with its bonnet on fire.
  • Longest Song Goes Last: "Fancy Sauce" ends the album and is the longest at 4 minutes.
  • Off the Wagon: "Dilemma" contains the line, "I was sober, now I'm drunk again."
  • One-Word Title: Besides the album name, there is also "Dilemma", "1981", "Saviors", "Fever", "Ballyhoo" and "Underdog".
  • Title Track: The 14th track "Saviors".
  • Zombie Apocalypse: Their music video for "The American Dream Is Killing Me" is set during one.
