Perceivably Moe characters in Animated Films.

• Alice in Wonderland (1951): The titular Alice is a very polite and curious young girl with an adorable appearance.
• All Dogs Go to Heaven: Anne-Marie. For a good many folks who grew up during the Renaissance Age, she was THE Heartwarming Orphan.
• Alpha and Omega:
  • Lily is just too dang adorable and clumsy, it is hard to not want to hug her.
  • Shakey is a Ridiculously Cute Critter who also happens to be Adorkable with his tendency to trip up.
• The Aristocats: Marie is so blatantly cute that even her spoiled behavior is somewhat adorable. To a lesser extent, her Cute Kitten brothers Toulouse and Berlioz also qualify.
• The Bad Guys (2022):
  • The Cat. Just look at him! He's a precious Cute Kitten whom even someone like Mr. Wolf can't help but find adorable.
  • To a lesser extent, Diane Foxington. She believes from the beginning that the Bad Guys can really be good for once, and that's saying something for someone who turns out to be the Crimson Paw.
• Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman: There aren't many scenes Rocky's in where she doesn't inspire amused affection or pity. Whether she's deriding her own Open Mouth, Insert Foot tendencies while asking about Bruce's social life, fumbling with the slides for a research presentation, gaining everyone's attention with an In-Universe Show, Don't Tell demonstration, playing video games with Tim, or having a tearful conversation with her wrongfully imprisoned fiancé.
• Bambi:
  • Bambi, Faline, the two fawns they have as adults, and even Ronno (to some degree) are likely some of the cutest fawns you'll ever see. There's a reason Osamu Tezuka used the titular character himself as the basis for the distinctive large-eye style of anime.
  • Thumper, his sisters, and Flower are also adorable Ridiculously Cute Critters.
• Barnyard has Maddy, an adorable baby chick who has a wise and optimistic point of view for a youngling herself.
• Beauty and the Beast: Belle, primarily thanks to her considerate and unconditional personality.
• Big Hero 6:
  • Hiro Hamada is an adorably tiny 14-year-old robotics prodigy with Messy Hair and big brown eyes, and he looks especially small when standing next to the rest of the adult characters, including Baymax. And he's an orphan who loses his big brother, which makes him prime-grade Woobie material. The fandom loves to make him the subject of Hurt/Comfort Fics, many of which involve him getting kidnapped or hurt in some way.
  • Honey Lemon, with her cheery, bright disposition that can put a smile on anyone's face.
  • Fred Frederickson, an enthusiastic and cheerful fanboy.
  • Baymax is a Cute Machine example of this. He's very friendly and huggable, by design.
  • Aunt Cass is an adult example. She is already easy on the eyes, but she's a hardworking restaurant owner, a great baker, a loving mother figure, and a Genki Girl. She's essentially a bubbly teenager in a 30-something body, and that's adorable.
• Bolt: Penny is the titular character's loving owner who has always taken care of her dog affectionately ever since he was a puppy.
• The Boss Baby:
  • Despite having Alec Baldwin's voice, Boss Baby is still an adorable kid. There's also a group of three babies, each dressed up in full-body animal outfits complete with furry ears. See here◊. And let's not forget the baby girl wearing a pink tutu.
  • Timothy is an adorable little boy with a big imagination and all the usual traits typically associated with a seven-year-old.
• Brave:
  • Princess Merida may have been a Rebellious Princess herself, but her softer side, from getting close to her father King Fergus to even bonding with her mother Queen Elinor, just brings out her more heartwarming appeal. Her younger self as a child is even cuter.
  • Merida's younger triplet brothers, Princes Harris, Hubert and Habish, are all adorable simply for their shared playful nature while being all mischievous.
• A Bug's Life: Princess Dot is as sweet and adorable as an animated bug of all characters can be.
• The Boxtrolls: Eggs, the Heartwarming Orphan who was taken in by the titular boxtrolls, also invokes an "I'm Taking Him Home with Me!" reaction from the audience.
• Chicken Little (2005): Kirby the orange alien is very curious and sensitive enough to bring hefty amounts of adorability to the audience. As a matter of fact, he can rival (or not really) a pink puffball with the same name in terms of Moeness.
• Coco:
  • Miguel Rivera is just so cute! Especially in skeleton makeup! His love and enthusiasm for music, combined with his childish looks, make him quite huggable.
  • The namesake Mama Coco Rivera (the daughter of Héctor), even in her old age, is pretty adorable especially whenever she's happy.
• Corpse Bride: All three of the main leads count for being endearing woobies who manage to muddle through for their happy endings, but Emily especially counts. Despite being a Broken Bird who suffered a lot and keeps suffering even after her death, she still remains a bubbly, romantic, and sweet woman who just wants to be loved.
• The Croods: A New Age: Dawn has an adorable design, an adorable voice, a really kind personality, and a charming naïveté and excitement for the world outside her home.
• Despicable Me: All three of the girls are adorable Heartwarming Orphans, especially Agnes, who is the most innocent child to hit the screen in a long time, and is the youngest and most upbeat of the three.
• Disney Fairies: Most of the fairies, but the ones who have stood out the most include the optimistic Tinker Bell, the lively Rosetta, and the pacifistic Silvermist.
• Dumbo: The innocent baby elephant Dumbo, despite being mocked for his appearance in-universe, has a blatant Ridiculously Cute Critter design, and his large ears only make him cuter (and not in an Ugly Cute way). Being also the Disney Trope Codifier for The Woobie adds to this trope.
• The Emperor's New Groove:
  • Chaca, Tipo, and Yupi are all adorable children of Pacha and Chicha.
  • Kronk is also this to an extent, largely thanks to him being a Minion with an F in Evil who's In Touch with His Feminine Side.
• Encanto:
  • Mirabel Madrigal, between her kind heart, cute Meganekko appearance, sheer earnestness in trying to be a good family member, and clumsy moments being very endearing.
  • Dolores Madrigal, with her cute appearance, soft voice, sweet personality, ability to hear faraway things making her come across as concerned for others most of the time, and the little honking sound she makes whenever she's nervous.
  • Antonio Madrigal. With his wide smile; shy, gentle nature; and love for animals, the boy has won the hearts of many.
• Far from the Tree: Marie the raccoon kit is adorably precocious, with the way she stares at the beach with wide and eager eyes while enjoying new sights and sounds and trying to help her uninterested parent harvest food. Her own kit is almost exactly the same way.
• Finding Nemo:
  • The franchise's titular character is pretty much an adorable baby clownfish who is dedicated to his father Marlin and his friends, no matter the troubles they face.
  • Dory is a blue tang fish who suffers from short-term memory loss, although that doesn't stop her from being the lovable Genki Girl that she is. Her younger self, which was heavily shown in Finding Dory, is even cuter.
  • Additionally, there's Squirt, the son of adult turtle Crush who has a surfer-like attitude much like his father, only with a more juvenile appeal.
• Frozen:
  • Princess Anna, as part of her Adorkable and Cute Clumsy Girl appeal.
  • Queen Iduna, Anna and Queen Elsa's mother, also qualifies, considering her loving and unconditional personality as The High Queen. Frozen II further delves into her Moe factor by revealing that, in her past, she used to be a playful Farm Girl who hails from the Enchanted Forest in Northuldra.
• A Goofy Movie:
  • Roxanne. She's sweet, stutters, and twirls her hair. It's no wonder Max likes her.
  • Its sequel An Extremely Goofy Movie gives us Sylvia Marpole, who like Roxanne above is sweet, Adorkable, wears glasses to emphasize both her nerdy nature and her status as a cute librarian. She shares a lot of Goofy's awkward and loveable qualities.
• The Great Mouse Detective: Olivia Flaversham is an adorable little mouse girl who also happens to be so dang sweet to boot.
• The Grinch (2018):
  • Young Grinch, as shown in the teaser poster and in the flashback shown in the second official trailer. Borders on Ugly Cute to some people.
  • Cindy Lou Who◊, a Wide-Eyed Idealist who's willing to befriend the Grinch despite his grumpiness.
  • Cindy Lou-Who's friends, Groopert, Izzy, Axl, and Ozzy count as this too. The five of them are all adorable and enthusiastic children who love the holidays and get excited over the idea of Santa Claus.
  • Bricklebaum as well for his jollyness and optimism.
• Hotel Transylvania:
  • Count Dracula's daughter Mavis is a quintessential Wide-Eyed Idealist who sees the good in nearly everyone.
  • Dennis Dracula-Loughran, the son of Mavis and Johnny Loughran from Hotel Transylvania 2, is an adorable human-vampire hybrid child who sure knows how to fight back.
  • Tinkles, the Dracula-Loughran's giant pet canine who is really a fun-loving soul.
• Ice Age:
  • Louis the molehog. His big Puppy-Dog Eyes enhance his cuteness.
  • Peaches as an infant at the end of the third one and a child in the holiday special was as adorable as any little girl could be. Cheerful and curious about the world around her.
• The Incredibles: The Parr children, at least when they're not crime-fighting. Violet is Adorkable and Jack-Jack is one of the cutest babies around. While Dash is nowhere near as his siblings' levels due to his proud attitude, he's still depicted as having a child-like, albeit mischievous demeanor. It helps that they all look adorable.
• Inside Out:
  • The original emotions of Riley Andersen, minus Anger and Disgust (because you know...), are this in some way, but Sadness tends to be the biggest example out of all of them thanks to her quiet Eeyore-like personality, large glasses, and her short stocky appearance in general.
  • ​The sequel Inside Out 2 has a similar manner to the original film with Riley's new emotions (yep, that includes Nostalgia), only omitting out Ennui here (since she doesn't really fit with what this trope suggests), but perhaps the best representative among them for this case is none other than Envy, whose own adoring and wide-eyed personality greatly contradicts what her own emotional personification would easily suggest.
  • Riley herself is an adorable, friendly young girl who always tries to stay optimistic. Her younger versions, particularly her baby version seen at the start of the first movie, are just as cute. The sequel gives her even more moe moments in spite of her being older there.
• Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie: Khalil is a half-worm, half-caterpillar with an adorable voice, cute appearance and is very kind and helpful to Jonah, even if he doesn't really want his help.
• Kiki's Delivery Service: Kiki is just too adorable with her cheerful attitude, clumsiness, and eagerness to learn. Witches don't come much cuter than her.
• Klaus: Pretty much all of the Smeerensburg kids are ultimately kind-hearted and quick to smile adorably, taken up to eleven with little Márgu, the Saami girl who befriends Jesper.
• KPop Demon Hunters
  • The HUNTR/X trio are very adorable in their own ways, but Zoey rightfully owns this trope thanks to her very bubbly personality and being the youngest of the group. She's constantly compared to Chaeyoung of TWICE (who did her parts in TWICE's version of Takedown), another cute maknae who goes hard when she raps.
  • Jinu's pet tiger, who's been affectionately referred to as "Derpy Tiger" for its ditzy tendencies, constant smile and endearing OCD tendencies. You'll see plenty of YouTube and social media comments wishing that it had a plush fans could buy.^note  It does, as seen by Ahn Hyo-seop's post.
• Kubo and the Two Strings: Kubo not only is a Heartwarming Orphan who deeply cares for his mother, but he also puts up with so much crazy bunk that you just wanna protect the kid!
• Kung Fu Panda:
  • Master Viper is noteworthy for being the most kindhearted and empathetic member of the Furious Five. In fact, she completely defies the Snakes Are Sinister stereotype in favor of being a Wise Serpent herself, despite herself being an efficient fighter.
  • There's no denying that even though Master Tigress is a serious kung-fu practicioner, her younger self as a cub in the first film is pretty heartwarming to look at.
  • You can also see Po Ping's younger self as a bear cub in Kung Fu Panda 2. He's very adorable in his youth, that knowing his mother's death makes him all the more tragic.
  • Lei Lei from Kung Fu Panda 3, a young panda cub who is so adorable, that even Tigress finds her endearing.
• The Little Mermaid:
  • Princess Ariel is a very cute mermaid for viewers of all ages to enjoy.
  • Flounder is just too cute with his bright colors, puffy, round face, and cowardly nature.
• Luca:
  • Luca Paguro, the Constantly Curious Cheerful Child who is amazed by the surface world and also has a wild imagination along with the biggest eyes of any character in the movie.
  • Giulia Marcovaldo, the absolutely adorable human with great Big Sister Instinct whenever Luca's around, yet is shown to be an absolute Determinator for justice.
• Luck (2022): Sam Greenfield is an adorable Cute Clumsy Girl Nice Girl Woobie who was put in the foster care system and never got adopted, and was Born Unlucky to such an extent that, before getting the lucky coin, every possible thing that can go wrong for her does go wrong. The combination of her incredibly attractive design, sweet personality, and Woobie traits make her very huggable.
• Madagascar:
  • Mort is a Ridiculously Cute Critter who is very much a mischievous and playful lemur.
  • Just look at Alex the lion as a cub in the first film and Escape 2 Africa. He's cute enough to steal the audience's heart.
  • While Private has always been the most endearing of the penguins, his younger self in Penguins of Madagascar is absolutely adorable.
• Meet the Robinsons: Lewis is a curious Child Prodigy who aspires to become a renowned scientist in his adulthood. He is also a very empathetic kid to others, having to connect with the Robinson family and all (without realizing that they're his future family).
• The Mitchells vs. the Machines:
  • Katie with her very cute design, endearing love of movies, and quirky personality instantly makes her this.
  • Aaron also qualifies with his endearing obsession with dinosaurs, his cute design and overall being a very nice brother to Katie. In her No Animals Were Harmed disclaimer, Katie even mentions that he has "the cutest, rosiest cheeks you've ever seen in your life".
  • Linda herself is a very sweet and, undeniably, a kind parent and a schoolteacher.
• Moana:
  • The titular character herself for being very cute, klutzy, having an endearing adventurous spirit, being a total dork and goofball at times, and having a kind heart.
  • We also have Pua, Moana's pet pig who is an endearing fluff ball himself.
• Monsters vs. Aliens: Susan Murphy/Ginormica is the most adorable 50-foot woman out there. With her big blue eyes and naïve, meek personality (particularly early on, before her Character Development), she's pretty cute.
• Monsters, Inc.: 
  • Boo from the original film is absolutely an adorable human child, despite her numerous mischievous moves.
  • The prequel Monsters University depicts Mike Wazowski in his youth, when he was curious about working in Monsters Inc., in which he aspired to have a job there, as well.
• Mr. Peabody & Sherman: Sherman. He is Endearingly Dorky and very excitable.
• The Nightmare Before Christmas: Sally is a warmhearted and considerate resident of Halloween Town who's pretty much allegorical to Frankenstein.
• Oliver & Company: The titular Oliver is a Heartwarming Orphan in the form of a Cute Kitten. Likewise, his owner, Jenny Foxworth, is also pretty cute.
• Once Upon a Forest: All of the main kid characters qualify, but especially Michelle who is a curious, cheerful, and adorable little badger, which makes her even more sympathetic and pitiful when a gas leak orphans and nearly kills her.
• One Stormy Night: A rare male example is Mei the goat, mainly due to his charming and friendly interactions with Gabu and the other characters.
• Onward: With his poofy hair, giant elf ears, and shy personality, Ian Lightfoot is just adorable.
• Over the Hedge: Hammy is this to many fans of the movie, due to his large eyes and excitable, playful personality.
• Pinocchio (1940): Pinocchio himself, being crafted to resemble a young boy and being very innocent and naïve, is probably the most adorable marionette ever.
• The Princess and the Frog: Tiana Rogers is a beautiful, hardworking, kind, earnest young woman with a sweet voice courtesy of Anika Noni Rose who only dreams of making a successful restaurant to honor the memory of her father. Even when she is transformed into a frog, she is an adorable frog.
• Raya and the Last Dragon:
  • Princess Raya, as a child, definitely qualifies for being extremely adorable and earnest. It's profoundly Downplayed for older Raya, however, who, compared to other Disney Princesses, gets much more serious and world-weary, though she does still have her quirky moments every now and then (only scarcer in comparison).
  • Sisu, who is way older than Raya, is ironically a straighter example, as she is a Wide-Eyed Idealist who sees the good in almost everything. Also, in comparison to Raya, she's the more fun-loving of the two.
• The Rescuers:
  • Miss Bianca, due to her graceful and feminine demeanor, but especially her big heart and how warm and loving she is towards children.
  • Penny, a cute and innocent Heartwarming Orphan who just wants to be loved, especially when the abusive Medusa brings her to tears.
• The Return of Hanuman: Child!Hanuman/Maruti. Big girly eyes, cheeks, innocence, he's just so adorable.
• Rise of the Guardians: Sophie is just the most adorable thing and tends to invoke I'm Taking Her Home with Me! in the audience.
• Robin Hood (1973):
  • All of the kid characters. Skippy, Toby, and the former's youngest sister, in particular are seen as especially huggable. The fandom takes Skippy's moe and runs with it.
  • Maid Marian is a lovely vixen with an equally lovely demeanor. She's soft-spoken, loving, ladylike, and warm towards children.
• Rock-A-Doodle: Edmond, despite being somewhat unpopular due to his irritating voice, has an absolutely adorable design when transformed into a kitten.
• Rock Dog: Bodi's cute character design and optimistic, innocent Adorkable personality make him quite the Precious Puppy.
• Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken: The titular character is initially a Shrinking Violet who is concerned about her Kraken heritage due to its unpredictability, but as the film progresses, she later starts to get used to it. Even then, that still doesn't stop her from being a generally sweet and friendly teenage aquatic monster who's living in the surface world.
• The Secret Life of Pets has Gidget, a white Pomeranian dog who is essentially a wide-eyed Genki Girl herself, combined this with her undying feelings for Max.
• Shrek:
  • Puss in Boots, who was introduced in Shrek 2, occasionally invokes this by pulling off his signature "kitty-cat eyes" move right in front of his opponents. Ironically, the spinoff Puss in Boots plays his case even straighter by presenting him as a Cute Kitten in his origins as a legendary adventurer.
  • Shrek and Princess Fiona's children, Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, who first appeared in The Third, are all adorable to look at for a bunch of baby ogres themselves. They were even able to imitate their parents in the cutest ways.
  • Perrito from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, a quintessential Precious Puppy who is also a Wide-Eyed Idealist to others, such as Puss and Kitty Softpaws, his fellow Team Friendship members.
• Sing:
  • Buster is regarded as such by some due to being an Adorkable tiny sharp-dressed koala.
  • Meena's meek personality as a Shrinking Violet makes her a rather sweet-natured elephant.
• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:
  • Snow White, the original Disney Princess, was arguably the start of this in Western Animation and her cuteness is purposefully emphasized nowadays, in contrast to some of the most elegant or tough princesses.
  • Dopey is a Cute Mute, younger and more naive than the other dwarfs, and has Innocent Blue Eyes.
• Song of the Sea: Sweet little Saoirse is goddamn precious, with her little rosy cheeks and huge dark eyes. You just wanna give her a big squishy hug, especially early in the film when her older brother is being mean to her.
• Spider-Man: Spider-Verse:
  • From Into the Spider-Verse, considering she's deliberately designed to be a cute anime schoolgirl, Peni Parker ends up being this. And plenty of people welcome it.
  • In Across the Spider-Verse Peter B.'s toddler daughter Mayday is downright adorable, gleefully climbing around Spider-Man HQ and taking all of her dad's crazy antics in stride whenever he brings her along. It's very easy to see why Peter B. dotes on her so much.
• Spies in Disguise:
  • Walter Beckett instantly became this when the character design was revealed, even more so when the film itself was released. Aside from being a direct caricature of his actor, Walter is an awkward yet kindhearted Wide-Eyed Idealist who loves pigeons and wants to use his gadgets to protect everyone from harm, including his enemies.
  • Eyes is a tall, slender Meganekko with big glasses, Youthful Freckles and an endearingly nerdy personality.
• The Sword in the Stone: The girl squirrel who falls in love with Arthur is playful, affectionate, and way too cute, until she learns that he's not really a squirrel.
• Tangled (2010):
  • Princess Rapunzel. Her creative mannerisms and openhearted personality make her one of the most adorable Disney Princesses.
  • Pascal, Rapunzel's pet chameleon whose adorability ranges from his Fun Size appearance to his cautious and playful attitude.
• ​Toy Story:
  • Toy Story 3 introduces Bonnie Anderson, the new owner of Andy's toys. Whether she's being shy (around adults) or a cheerful Genki Girl (with her toys) she's always adorable.
  • The lost little girl from Toy Story 4, who was crying before adopting Gabby Gabby, is pretty endearing, as well.
• Trolls:
  • The titular Trolls are considered this, given the fact that they hug all the time. Special mention goes to cheerful Genki Girl Poppy.
  • From all of the Bergens, Bridget stands out as being the cutest of them due to her loving and optimistic personality.
  • Crimp from Band Together is a major Shrinking Violet because she has been mistreated by both Velvet and Veneer, but that doesn't stop her from being a steadfast Nice Girl, either.
• Turning Red:
  • Mei Lee is pretty cute-looking and huggable, especially in her giant red panda form.
  • Mei's best friends, Miriam Mendelsohn, Priya Mangal, and especially Abby Park, have also stolen hearts for their quirky personalities and unconditional support of Mei's transformation.
  • The rest of Mei's family's red pandas look adorable, too.
• Up:
  • Dug is absolutely adorable, helped by his Undying Loyalty to Carl.
  • Kevin's babies too, they're like smaller more precious versions of their mother.
• WALL•E:
  • WALL•E himself has huge adorably expressive eyes, a sad-sounding voice, Adorkable traits such as loving musicals and collecting sporks, and is all-around an incredibly kind robot.
  • EVE becomes this as the film progresses. She and WALL•E are always Cute Machines physically, and even provide the page image for that trope, but it's once EVE starts to bond with Wall•E and expresses adorable traits such as a Laugh of Love that she fully becomes this.
• Wreck-It Ralph: Vanellope von Schweetz is the most adorable character in the movie and also the most abused, whose living conditions are even worse than Ralph's. She is essentially a Dummied Out character in her home game, which is horrifyingly tragic if such a character were sentient. Some of the story team members even grew protective of her.
• Zootopia:
  • Judy Hopps is an endearing little bunny with an appealing design who tries so hard to prove herself and is so determined to solve genuine problems in her city (not just being a traffic cop as others want her to) that it's near-impossible to not root for her.
  • Benjamin Clawhauser is considered an adorable Gentle Giant and the friendly face of the police station, and when he loses his job later on in the film just because he's of a predator species, he comes across as very Woobie because of how nice he is.
  • Judy and Nick Wilde as children are completely adorable, as are the little jaguar and cougar from Judy's play.
  • It's hard not to find Dawn Bellwether adorable, with her short stature and wide-rimmed glasses. It's what makes her reveal as the Big Bad all the more shocking.
  • Despite her limited screen time in the film's prologue, Sharla gained her own set of fans not long after the film's release. This is due to her charming performance as an astronaut at the school play and being one of Gideon's easiest targets for bullying.
