One of the oldest ways to manipulate people is to offer them sex in exchange for some kind of favor. However, while some people might insist on actual sex, others might be content with simply seeing someone in a state of undress instead. As a result, one way to manipulate others into doing your bidding is to offer them the opportunity to see someone nude, in their underwear, their privates, or some other state of undress. A person might offer to show themselves or someone else in such a state or someone else might ask to see someone undressed in exchange for a given favor.
The specifics behind how the deal works can vary. Sometimes a person might offer to flash someone in exchange for some favor or item, often done before or after the exchange. Other times a person might offer lewd pictures of themselves or someone else. Still other examples have people offering to wear skimpy outfits such as Barely There Swimwear or Stripperific clothing for someone.
Whether or not the other party takes the deal can vary. Some might eagerly take it without question, others might hesitate but go through with it, and still others might refuse either reluctantly or firmly. In some cases, this can fail because the recipient is the wrong orientation for it to work. The offerer's willingness to go through with their end of the deal also varies, with some not minding, others being reluctant but willing, and still others trying anything possible to get out of the arrangement.
A slightly tamer form of Sex for Services in that it doesn't involve actual sex. Super-Trope of Candids for Sale, for when someone sells risque pictures for profit. A common tactic of the Honey Trap. This is likely to fall into the purview of the Innocent Fanservice Girl or the Shameless Fanservice Girl. If the person making this sort of offer is below a certain age, it could overlap Troubling Unchildlike Behavior, and may be Foreshadowing of something very wrong in that person's life. May rely on the idea that All Men Are Perverts or A Man Is Always Eager. If the person resists or declines, they are Above the Influence and Not Distracted by the Sexy. They might also be the wrong orientation for it to work. Some people might deliberately stash something in Victoria's Secret Compartment and then tug on the edge of a blouse/bra/shirt, daring someone to try and retrieve the item from there (with a few cases having them secretly hoping the person actually will).

- Bleach: At one point while Rangiku, Renji, Ikkaku, and Yumichika are stationed in the Human World, they try to crash at Ichigo's house, but he refuses because he doesn't have enough space. Rangiku tries to get him to change his mind by unbuttoning her shirt and lifting her skirt. Ichigo still refuses while covering his eyes, albeit while keeping one eye uncovered and slightly open.
- Dragon Ball: Bulma does this a couple times in the original series.
- In the very first episode, Bulma tries to bribe Goku into giving her his Dragon Ball by offering a peek up her skirt as a reward. However Goku, who is very young, very naïve, and knows nothing about sex or arousal yet, blows her off while obliviously insulting her.
- A little later on, Master Roshi offers to give Bulma a Dragon Ball in exchange for letting him see her underwear, which she is reluctant to do but eventually goes through with. Unfortunately for Bulma, Goku removed her underwear while she was sleeping, which results in Bulma flashing her privates instead, which gets her the Dragon Ball at the cost of her dignity. When she figures it out, she punishes Goku with a machine gun (he already has Super-Toughness, so it doesn't really hurt him).
- Frieren: Beyond Journey's End:
- An unusual case that is both zigzagged and defied; Frieren informs Fern that it's Stark's eighteenth birthday. Fern is upset that Frieren waited until so late to tell her, as she has no idea what to get Stark as a present. Frieren does a Cocky Three Beat Laugh, then rummages in her luggage until she finds a bottle which contains a potion that dissolves clothing. Frieren says her master, Flamme, told her it was the sort of gift men loved to receive, the implication being that Frieren was suggesting Fern offer Stark a chance to use the potion on her so she could show him her body for his birthday. Fern, however, is not amused with the suggestion, and dumps the potion on Frieren, instead, then storms off to find Stark.
- In a flashback to the Hero's Party, after a young boy flips up Frieren's skirt, Himmel is outraged, stating that he'd wanted to do that himself, but he had restraint. You can also hear Heiter trying to calm Himmel down by saying that if it would help, Himmel could flip up his robes.
- One Piece: At the end of the Alabasta Arc, after Nami catches the guys peeping on her and Vivi in the palace bathhouses, she decides to flash them by opening her towel, but tells them they'll owe her 100,000 Berries each.
- Ranma ½: An indirect example. In one episode Akane has been invited to a hot spring, and just before she's about to leave, Ranma spot's Happosai's pipe sticking out of her back and calls on her to wait. Akane, unaware of the stowaway Happosai, incredulously asks Ranma if he's wanting to tag along. Akane's father, Soun, very much wanting the Arranged Marriage between Ranma and Akane to go well, is enthusiastic about the idea of Ranma tagging along, and even says he'll permit Ranma to take a bath with Akane if that's what it takes. Akane is understandably less than thrilled to hear her own father "volunteer" her that way (though she's less enthused to discover who was trying to tag along with her).
- Soul Eater: In a scene exclusive to the manga, Maka, Soul, Black☆Star, and Tsubaki, after capturing Sid, who has become a zombie, demand to know who turned him into a zombie and where they are. Sid refuses, which gives Black☆Star the idea to lift Tsubaki's skirt, which gets Sid to reveal that it was Dr. Stein who him, but he refuses to give a location. Soul tries to get him to talk by flipping up Maka's skirt, but it doesn't work because she's not considered attractive enough, though Sid talks after Maka beats him up.
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: In "Sit In The Hot Til You're Sick", Kamina has spent the whole episode trying to peek on the girls; later in the episode the girls are captured by owners, who were Beastmen in a Human Disguise, who are displayed on a monitor with Pixelation to censor their bodies. The Beastman offers to remove the censor if they get out of their Gunmen, which Simon refuses but Kamina doesn't. The pixelation is removed, only to reveal that the girls were wearing towels and not naked, much to Kamina's fury.
- The drug dealers in The Voynich Hotel try this when under fire from an assassin by holding up a paper saying “we’ll show you our tits if you let us go”. It fails, with the assassin somewhat apologetically saying he’s gay.
Comic Books
- Freaks' Squeele: One character pays her landlord (who looks like Quentin Tarantino) in feet pics.
- Le Petit Spirou: An early strip has Vertignasse bribe people with pictures of "my sister in the bath" ("ma soeur dans le bain"). Come the time to pay, however, it turns out he conned them into accepting pictures of the homophonic "Masseur dans le bain" ("Masseur in the bath", Masseur being The Friend Nobody Likes in their class).

- In Billy Madison Billy's girlfriend quizzes him, revealing more if he gets a right answer.
- In Epic Movie (2007), the White Bitch demands that Edward tell her where his siblings are. Edward refuses, until the White Bitch shows him her boobs, whereupon he instantly blurts out their location.
- Hounddog: Lewellen tells Wooden's Boy she'll do her Elvis dance naked in front of him in exchange for going to the Elvis concert in town. She initially starts by only taking her dress off and leaving on her underblouse and panties, but Buddy tells her that she has to take her clothes "all the way off" (which she told him earlier to get him to take his pants off in exchange for a kiss), so she reluctantly strips down completely naked to do her dance. Wooden's Boy then rapes her, traumatising her greatly, and Lewellen doesn't get to go to the concert — Buddy betrays her and takes Grasshopper instead.
- In Major League, the manager of the team gets ahold of a picture of the team's owner naked, and says for every win, he reveals a section under a dress.
- The Wedding Singer: At the very beginning, when Julia is working as waitress in a wedding where Robbie is the singer, has the following dialogue in the venue's kitchen:

- Adrian Mole: In Growing Pains, after Pandora has refused to show Adrian one of her nipples, he hears that Sharon Bott will show everything for fifty pence, and a pound of grapes. It is also mentioned that Barry Kent will show his “thing” for five pence a look.
- King Candaules: In Théophile Gautier's version of the Ring of Gyges, the Lydian king Caudales is unhappy that he can't show off how lucky he is to have so beautiful wife as Nyssia and arranges for Gyges (a captain of the guard) to hide in a closet and watch Nyssia get undressed. Gyges does indeed get an eyeful and falls in love with her, though Caudales warns him not to get ideas. Nyssia figures out what happened, and tells Gyges only her husband may see her naked, the penalty for voyeurs is death. Gyges takes the hint, murders the king, marries the queen, and never ever shows her off to anyone.

- American Gods (2017): When Media first presents herself to Shadow, she takes on the visage of Lucy Ricardo while inviting him to join the New Gods' side in exchange for ditching Mr. Wednesday. She offers Shadow whatever he wants, which includes the teasing "You ever wanted to see Lucy's tits?"
- The Big Bang Theory: In "The Friendship Contraction", a cash-strapped Penny mentions that her payment to the electric company consisted of "a Starbucks gift card, an apology note, and a few snapshots of me in a bra."
- Black Mirror: In "The National Anthem", Malaika is a journalist seeking inside info on a royal kidnapping, so she texts a selfie of her boobs to a source in the government, promising more if he can tell her any details. He does, and we see her lock herself in a bathroom cubicle, unzip, and take another selfie.
- Castle (2009): In "Under the Gun" Beckett's old training partner Royce tells C and several of the others that at one point when he was taken hostage, Beckett told the man that if he dropped the gun she'd show him her boobs. Castle asks if she did, and Beckett, entering the room, says that she did not because the guy had the same dumbfounded look on his face that the others had at that moment.
- Community: In "Asian Population Studies", Britta gets concert tickets from Neil in exchange for flashing her chest to him. She's disappointed when they turn out to be in the mezzanine.
- Coupling: Double-subverted in the first episode. Susan had agreed to go out on a date with Steve. Steve's best friend, Jeff, was someone she'd dated one time, and it went badly. When Jeff discovers that Steve's new romantic interest is Susan, he says he's going to stick around so that the two of them can't discuss how badly his first date with her went. As luck would have it, this is when Susan's best friend, Sally, shows up at the restaurant with Susan's ex, Patrick. And Steve's ex, a Stalker with a Crush, Jane, shows up. Susan asks Jeff what it would take for him to leave, begging? Showing him a breast? Jeff immediately says he'll go in exchange for a viewing breast. Susan says she didn't mean it, but Jeff says he did. Then Patrick and Sally suggest they'd like to see Susan's breast as well, as does Jane. And Steve joins them, saying that since he's out on a date with her, he doesn't want to end up a breast behind everyone else. Susan relents, opening her blouse, saying she intends the breast satirically. Just then, the waiter shows up and see's Susan's breast. Patrick says they'd like a table for six, to which the waiter still staring at Susan's exposed breast, says they're booked for the night. Jeff chimes in by saying that Susan has another breast just like the one the waiter is seeing, and the waiter immediately says he'll see what he can do.
- Everything's Gonna Be Okay: In "Maggots", Tellulah has been sexting Leonard, the hottest boy in her class, but now he is asking for nudes. As Genevieve and Barb point out, sending a nude pic of herself could get Tellulah in legal trouble, and so she and Gen conspire to find a picture of a vagina that could conceivably pass for hers to send to Leonard. They eventually find and send one, and are rewarded with a photo of Leonard's penis. Their reaction suggests that it is quite large. Later, they find out that Leonard shared the pic with his friends, but Tellulah decides to overlook this and ask him out, because she cares more about his appearance and potential sexual prowess than she does about his respect for women.
- In the Friends episode "The One Where Ross Finds Out" Monica is helping Chandler exercise to lose a few pounds. When doing sit-ups Chandler is exhausted

However, because Mikan views negative attention as better than being ignored, she often went along with her bullies' actions because the other option was being ignored.

When Darkseid refuses, Hal makes a construct of a naked man, much to Darkseid's annoyance. Batman then suggests Hal has the constructs dance which causes Darkseid to become grossed out and leave.

- BAD Endings: In ECCHI, the main character is a Predatory Pervert who pretends to be an Accidental Pervert in order to sexually harass girls at his school. The Nerd himself comments that it's an effective way to get people to finish the game because it makes you wonder how much of her clothes she's going to lose.note
- Danganronpa Abridged Thing: Monokuma inverts and plays this trope straight as the motive for the first murder, threatening to show lewd pictures of himself if the students don't commit a murder while also offering to show a picture of Sayaka under her clothes if they do. Later, the picture of Sayaka under her clothes turns out to be a photoshopped picture of her with her clothes on top of her head.
- ProZD: Parodied in "An attorney whose last resort is attempting to seduce the judge." The titular attorney responds to the judge sentencing their client to ten years in jail by opening his shirt collar (though SungWon has another shirt on underneath) while offering to "change [the judge's] mind," with a Sexophone playing in the background. The judge just ups the sentence to twenty years.
- SuperMarioLogan: In "Cody's Birthday", Cody tells Junior and Joseph that he was born on February 29, which happens once every four years, and even though he's eight years old, per the calendar, this will only be his second birthday. This turns out to be a big mistake, as upon hearing this, Junior and Joseph pretend he really is two years old and make a baby-themed birthday party for him. When Junior calls Cody on his phone, he tells him that he and Joseph were about to play naked tag at his house to lure him into his party. Being both a Dirty Kid and a closet homosexual, Cody runs over to Junior's house in a flash, saying he came over as soon as he heard "naked".

- Robot Chicken: In one of the Nerd skits, he finds himself in Narnia after getting Stuffed into a Locker and encounters Jadis, the White Witch. To convince the Nerd to kill Aslan, she lowers her dress and shows him her breasts, which immediately gets a reaction and convinces him to do the job.
- South Park: In "Pre School" the boys asks the sixth graders to protect them from Trent, who wants to kill them for getting him sent to juvie for five years. The sixth graders only agree to do so if they get a picture of Stan's mom's Sharon's boobs. Stan, not wanting to do that, instead takes a picture of Cartman's butt with nipples on them and fools the sixth graders, but unfortunately they aren't a match for Trent.
