Sephiroth encouraging Aerith after they reach Icicle Inn and discover an indoor garden where her mother had entire bushes of roses growing, causing her to start having feelings of deep inadequacy, considering her own flowers to be barely more than weeds. he points out that her flowers are ultimately far more resilient than the rose bushes, concluding that this isn't a world where roses can thrive, "but maybe wildflowers can."
