- While Shino initially was recruited to spy on Honoka, she comes to genuinely care for her and see her as a friend.
- After the climax, Honoka forgives Yasue for using her body to take revenge on Yonehara. It's not because Honoka is dependent on Yasue, but because Honoka, having killed Yonehara, knows what it is like to be burdened by remorse, and will share that burden with Yasue.
- Despite being at odds with Honoka for much of the story, Kaoru does her best to get off to a fresh start with Honoka in the denouement, such as introducing herself again. By the epilogue, Honoka has come to see her and Tatiana as friends.
