The Challenge

Go To

  • In one episode, Aneesa is is yelling at Cara. In the background, Timmy can be seen mocking her, and he gets more and more audacious with how much he is mocking Aneesa, even wagging his finger. Everyone is trying very hard not to laugh.
  • A lot of people's answers in trivia challenges throughout the series will leave you red in the face.
    • Battle of the Seasons (2012):
      • Ashley K, when asked "how many continents The Challenge has been to?", answers 21.note
    • Free Agents in particular has a lot of examples:
      • In one of the show's most infamous examples, Johnny Bananas, when asked "what is the official language of Australia?", answers Dutch.note  The looks on everyone's faces, including host TJ Lavin's, are priceless.
      • Leroy, when asked how to spell "disguise", spells it as "D-I-S-SKIES'' (saying the word "skies" out loud instead of even using the spelling of it).
Bananas: "That's not how you spell, that's how you sound a word out."
      • In another answer Leroy gets very wrong from the same challenge, when asked "who the third president from the United States" is, he answers Roosevelt.note
Cohutta: "He has no clue who's the third president of the United States. Possibly along with the first, second, and fourth president of the United States."
      • Cara Maria is asked "what continent the USA belongs to". Her answer? The Northern Continent.note  To make things even worse, she has no idea what a continent even is.
Cara Maria: "The difference between a continent and a country is that the continent...is larger?"
      • Aneesa gets asked "what country has the largest population?". While it's understandable why she might get this one wrong, her answer is Asia.note
      • Cara Maria gets asked "what Muhammad Ali's real name is" and answers Muha-Mu-Gandhi.note
Cohutta: "She thought that Gandhi could have been a boxer, which means she had no idea who Gandhi was in general! Gandhi's never been in the National Enquirer, I'll give her that. So maybe I'm being too hard on these girls."
    • Battle of the Exes 2:
      • The streak of The Challenge contestants not knowing the difference between a country and a continent continues, as Leroy answers Africa when asked "which country is known as 'The Land of the Rising Sun?'" as a question.note
