- The player can say their name is a different name than the one Prophetbot knows, which confuses Niko and the robot both a bit.
- If you tell Niko that the sun in your world is a big ball of fire like in their home world, they'll then ask if you can hold it like the bulb before quickly stating this is a silly question.
- Niko will ask if you go to sleep at night since most people do in their world but but some people stay up and use computers.
- The pieces of paper you find scattered throughout the game usually feature puzzle hints or background info for the world, and many of them are as eerie and dark as the rest of this world, until one particular paper that's available late in the Solstice update which simply reads:WHO TOOK MY STAPLER
- Especially hilarious considering that, in the Regular route, the same notes says that the stapler has been glued to the table so that it couldn't be stolen. That's right: In the middle of absolute chaos, when squares kept popping everywhere in the Refuge, someone somehow had the time to steal a glued stapler.
- Asking Niko to put the sun in a crusher or hit it with the crowbar nets this achievement: Chaotic Evil.
- While in one of the Barrens bunkhouses, the player can tell Niko to do a robot voice.Niko: I’m a robot and I…eat batteries…instead of normal people food!Robot: That is not correct. Robots do not consume batteries in the same way people consume food. In fact, robots do not possess digestive systems. Some robots do not even have mouths.Niko: [Player Name]…you made me look silly.
- One Fisherman in the Glen excitedly states that they've found a fantastic fishing spot with very long fish. if you observe the pot next to them, Niko states it's full of eels... before correcting themself and stating they're actually snakes.
- A lot of the dialogue for attempting to trade random items with Magpie, to the point where there's an achievement for trying every item. His reactions for if you try to trade the items he just gave you are especially priceless. you can even try to sell him the sun!
- If you tell Niko to haggle with him for the wool, he'll mention that he forgot he was bartering with a god and immediately offer... a novelty t-shirt. Which reads "I herded rams and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt!".
- The T-Shirt is apparently the official uniform for the Shepherd's Ram Club in the Refuge. Going there and showing the shirt to some Ram graffiti in the alleyway will permit you entry. It's just her and a room full of rams. Talking to her will cause her to tell two ram jokes that go over Niko's head followed by her admitting that her jokes are "ba-a-a-a-a-d", which is the only joke they actually understand. There's also an electric kettle for "RA Mmen".
- Shepherd's friend entry in the remake is a veritable Hurricane of Puns in and of itself.
- If you check the path to Calamus and Alula's home, Niko will state that it's blocked by... blocks. Tiny stone ones. Later, when they take them there, they'll remark on it again with alarm... only for Calamus to kick it out of the way with ease. Niko states they never would have thought of this.
- On the Solstice route, they'll actually remember they can do this from the past route. They'll proudly proclaim that they solved the puzzle, before remarking that their foot hurts from kicking a solid stone block.
- Talking to the guardian of the Refuge after getting the feather pen can be funny if you forgot to check on Maize first. The guardian will point out that you seem to have forgotten the sun.
- Convincing Niko to ride the Roomba. There’s an achievement for it called “We Ride at Dawn”. The soundtrack for this part is IT’S TIME TO FIGHT CRIME.
- Niko asking the player questions about their world. The answers can be answered straight, or the player can tell Niko they live underground.
- Niko tells the player how they tried to put tomato soup in a bottle to give to their baby sibling, which made a big mess. The adults thought it was funny and taught Niko how to use a funnel.
- When in the elevator with Lamplighter, the latter remarks how awkward the silence—should the player encourage Niko not to say anything—is incredibly awkward.
- When Niko tries to make a new button for the elevator it doesn’t exactly work, which the Lamplighter remarks on, but says it was a good effort.
- The Overly Long Gag of the library front desk robot attempting to call George. The first time, the phone rings for several seconds before it says that George is probably busy with her research and won't pick up, before telling them to head back. It then stops them to request their library card, which they do not have. It attempts to call George again with a similar result. When Niko asks of it hands library cards out, it says that only George can do that. It then offers to call her again before Niko hastily stops it.
- One of the scientists working on the robots has a TV for a head, causing Niko to mistake him for one. He doesn't seem to understand how someone could make this mistake.
- Niko has fun doing some puzzles and will comment on it. When making the solution to de-rust Rowbot Niko says they feel like a doctor.
- Niko tells the player they asked for pancakes for their birthday, eating so many that they didn’t eat for the rest of the day.
- When Prototype attempts to explain how the clock room works by temporarily decompiling the three original inhabitants into code, Niko interrupts with a textbox reading *Confused cat noises.* Prototype decides to have Rue explain afterwards.
- Niko repeatedly insists that they're not a cat despite their numerous feline features and seems genuinely confused when people mistake them for one.
