Fridge Brilliance

  • The entire Alternate History element of the Cold War escalating from superhero intervention in Vietnam served as contrast to ones depicted in Watchmen. While Watchmen had Dr Manhattan as ultimate weapon for US, Marvel universe have superheroes already present in USSR and their allies. It was obvious that they would be deployed (not to mention advanced technologies derived from them).
  • While the 9/11 disaster occurring in a universe where New York has Superheroes seems questionable, Tony's arms dealings to warlords meant that terrorists—especially Al-Qaeda and the Taliban—may have utilized some of his advanced technology to make their attack possible.
  • Why did Morlun never go back to have his revenge despite the fact that he is immortal? Either he was ashamed of his defeat to the point he chose to forget about it or he was busy because of the events of Spider-Verse.

Fridge Horror

  • If Vietnam lasted up to 1977, how did the entire conflict turn out with the existence of superhumans that the US, the Soviet Union, and China have? Considering the nuclear weapons were deployed against the United States in the '80s, how far did that war escalate?
  • How many people did Stark hurt by selling his weapons while other heroes let him do it?
  • How many heroes were killed because of the Civil War and Doom?
  • What if the symbiote survived? Now that Peter died, it could go berserk.
  • Considering Eddie Brock never met the symbiote, that means that he may have succumbed to his cancer, and along with everything else in his life falling apart he likely died miserable, not being able to make the difference he wanted. And of course, without him or the symbiote, that raises the question of what happens when Knull awakens...
