Vice Squad is a 1982 exploitation thriller film directed by Gary A. Sherman and starring Season Hubley, Gary Swanson, and Wings Hauser (who also sang the film's theme song, "Neon Slime").
Princess (Hubley) is a prostitute and single mother in Los Angeles, just trying to get by. After being arrested on cocaine possession charges, LAPD Detective Tom Walsh (Swanson) offers her a pardon in exchange for helping him capture the feared and psychopathic pimp Ramrod (Hauser). Desperate and wanting to avenge the death of her friend Ginger (Nina Blackwood) at Ramrod's hands, Princess agrees - but finds herself in Ramrod's crosshairs when he cottons on.

Ramrod: It's God almighty. - Can Always Spot a Cop: Princess is an experienced prostitute who can spot an undercover cop posing as a prospective client from a mile away. Even a cop utilizing a pretty good Jamaican accent doesn't fool her for a minute.
- Card-Carrying Villain: Ramrod is quite self-aware that he's a Predatory Pimp.Ramrod: I'm the devil, baby!
- The Dreaded: Ramrod is well-known on the streets. Most people are terrified of him.
- Groin Attack: Ramrod attacks Joe Dorsey, the short chubby sugar pimp who used to front Princess, by grabbing him by the balls and threatening him at knifepoint on where to find her. After telling Dorsey that he figuratively has "no balls" he makes it literal by cutting off the pimp's balls off-camera while the pimp screams. Later, the whimpering Dorsey is hauled out by a medical team while a cop relays over the phone "Someone just cut the gonads off a sugar pimp."
- Hate Sink: Ramrod is a violent, abusive monster. He's a sleazy sadist who's given not one good quality in the films.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Poor Ginger falls for Ramrod's entreaties when she's safe in her hotel room. The second the door opens, she's done for.
- Insistent Terminology: Two prostitutes correct a police officer who called them whores.Prostitute 1: We're not whores, we're prostitutes.
Cop: There's a difference?
Prostitute 2: Whores give it away, stupid. - I Love the Dead: Princess is paid to have sex with an elderly man laid out in a coffin as if he were dead. It's too freaky for her, so she bolts.
- Lie Back and Think of England: Princess is shown lying under a particularly annoying client, clearly not enjoying herself and disconnecting.
- Predatory Pimp: The film portrays each of the pimps as sleazy reprobates, and Ramrod is a dangerously homicidal loon even by those standards.
- Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: Ramrod is a rapist and especially enjoys violating women with his "Pimp Stick."
- Secret Sex Worker: Princess is a former businesswoman who's fallen on hard times. She keeps her job secret from the people in her orbit, though the cops know her.
- Single Mom Stripper: Princess is a prostitute who works to also provide for her daughter.
