The When Legends meet series by Aragorn II Elessar (co-authored with Brainstorm Sorcerer, Gussygus28 and HRwriter897) is a Massive Multiplayer Crossover fanfic that encapsulates numerous fandoms into a single story.

The basic premise is that the Singularity at the end of The Flash Season 1 doesn't just open breaches between Earth-1 and Earth-2, but multiple worlds all over the Multiverse, so now, anyone can cross between any Universe accidentally.

There are also cases where a few fandoms co-exist on the same Earth.

In addition, characters, creatures and elements from Jeepers Creepers, Dante's Inferno, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Grudge, Bayonetta and Invincible (2021) have also appeared, but the designations of these Universes have not been revealed as of now.

The series consists of one completed story of 42 chapters, with another story titled Champions and Wars in-progress as of April 2026, as well as spin-offs by other authors:

  • Storms of Ash and Glory by King_Of_The_Multiverse: When Planetos is destroyed by The Great Other, it is mysteriously restored back to its original form. Now, the 9 greatest champions are pulled from other worlds to save Westeros from a war that can only end with such fury.
  • The Fallen and the Free by King_Of_The_Multiverse: Theon Greyjoy is stuck on Earth-2016. But when the town of Rose Creek needs help, Theon and the Magnificent Seven decide to combat this evil head-on, guns blazing. But now, the Magnificent Seven must fight both Bartholomew Bogue and an even darker foe who feeds on the souls of the world. Sequel to Storms of Ash and Glory.
  • Shattered Worlds & Rising Legends by King_Of_The_Multiverse: Following the events of Storms of Ash and Glory, Vi, Bryce and Davos go to Sothoryos to find out how to defeat the Great Other. Sansa Stark and Margarey Tyrell must navigate the complexities of Runeterra. And at the same time, more worlds are caught up in the Multiverse's chaos, while everyone must fight for their lives, battling great evils.
  • Winds of War and Ruin by King_Of_The_Multiverse: The war against the Burning Legion rages in Universe-94. Planetos is faced with conflicts on all sides. Ragnarok is about to begin. A great enemy is coming. And in the meantime, all worlds must try to save the entire Multiverse before the Chaos Gods usher in the apocalyptic End Times.
  • When Legends Collide, Worlds Fall by King_Of_The_Multiverse: Planetos and Mallus have smashed into each other and merged to form Azel'Tor, the Last Battleground. Archaon the Everchosen now leads the Armies of Chaos to destroy the Multiverse. Now all the Heroes of the Multiverse must join forces to combat the greatest threat the Multiverse has ever seen. They must either rise together...or fall alone. Final part of When Legends Meet: Battle and Glory.

  • A Universe Besieged by Stand_with_Ward_and_Queen: The Doctor, Leela and K-9 are taking some time off when they find themselves besieged by enemies from other worlds, all of who seem to want to kill The Doctor. And all the while, someone from The Doctor's future is pulling the strings.
  • When it Raynes by Stand_with_Ward_and_Queen: Ethan Rayne is brought to another universe and given a strange, very bizarre task.
  • Castle, Reagans and Wesen by Stand_with_Ward_and_Queen: Following his fallout with Kate Beckett, Richard Castle finds himself drawn into another world. As he rebuilds his life, a movement in the shadows starts coming to light.

As the battle against the Royals takes center stage, a new enemy stakes their claim against the child who will change the world.

  • Loud House Multiversus by Gussygus28: When an Imp creates a bunch of universes threatening to overtake the Multiverse, Doctor Fate of Earth-192 recruits a certain family to counterattack these worlds and save the Multiverse, one which can be very... LOUD!

In addition to the above, Aragorn II Elessar has also started a spin-off series titled Universes of Legends, an Anthology Series telling smaller stories of different characters across The Multiverse.

Originally, the first story was supposed to be a crossover only between seven fandoms, those being Tolkien's Legendarium, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, Buffyverse, Smallville, Supernatural and Arrowverse, but Serial Escalation is at play here, and now, a ton of fandoms are part of this series in just the first story alone, not counting the various cameos.
