The Symbol of Peace and Justice written by TheGodfather93, is a Crossover fanfic between Dragon Ball Z and My Hero Academia.

In the world of My Hero Academia, a Pro Hero named Visionary has experienced visions of a future full of darkness and despair. Seeking a way to avoid it, he has gathered seven spheres to summon a giant magical dragon of legends, to whom he wishes for a hero to come to his world, one who can become a beacon of hope for the people and an example for future heroes to follow. Once his wish is granted, the villain army chasing him catches up, and he lets himself smile one more time before bracing for the inevitable, knowing that his duty is done...

Meanwhile, in the Dragon Ball world, Son Gohan is in the middle of his final clash against Super Perfect Cell. But right when he manages to get the chance to finish Cell off, a sphere of strange dark energy appears in front of Gohan, sucking him into a void of darkness, and reappearing in an unknown location. Tired and wounded from his previous battle with Cell, Gohan collapses into unconsciousness.

He later wakes up in a hospital, and after a while, he finally realizes he's somehow been ripped out of his world and thrown into another, seemingly with no way to go back to his own. Despite the initial despair, upon learning of how in this new world people have varied powers known as Quirks, and superheroes are a thing, Gohan finally decides to make the best of what he can and try and adapt to become. Inspired by a news report featuring All Might, and gaining instant admiration for the man, Gohan decides to make use of his abilities to become a Pro Hero.

Six years later, Gohan prepares to attend U.A, the most prestigious Hero school in Japan, to pursue his new goal to become a Pro Hero, while at the same time trying to balance his time and hide the fact that he's already gotten a head start by using a Secret Identity known as "the Golden Blur".

The Symbol of Peace and Justice provides trope examples of:

• Adaptational Badass: Downplayed with Izuku, who develops an early version of the Full Cowl by the time of the Sports Festival, thanks to training with Gohan in the two weeks prior to it. This actually allows him to inflict more damage on Stain, leaving him in a worse state than in canon.
• Adaptational Early Appearance: Mirko appears right after the Sports Festival, coming personally to recruit Gohan for internship.
• Adaptation Name Change:
  • In Chapter 18, Izuku uses what seems like the Full Cowl, but due to training with Gohan to develop it, it's named "Super Deku" instead.
  • Zigzagged with Mina, who in this story gets to keep her original hero name Alien Queen instead of Pinky.
• Almost Kiss: Gohan and Momo almost kiss at the end of their first date in Chapter 26, but they're interrupted by Momo's cousins, who were watching them from behind the fence. When they give themselves away, Gohan accidentally headbutts Momo in the nose.
• Aren't You Going to Ravish Me?: Non-sexual variant in the Cavalry Battle. When Bakugo explodes in insults and threats towards Gohan's team, Ochaco takes offense because she was the only one he didn't threaten. She then explains it's because that means Bakugo isn't taking her seriously as a competitor.
• Armor-Piercing Question: When Todoroki reveals to Gohan his past with Endeavor, as well as his vow to never use his fire powers to spite him, Gohan asks him if he could live with himself if someone dies in his watch because he held back. Todoroki is left briefly unable to answer.
• Ascended Extra: Sato Rikido, one of the characters who's had less focus in MHA, quickly becomes a major supporting character and Gohan's best friend.
• Bad Date: Sato goes on a date with Yuki, the attendant in the icecream parlor, after the Sports Festival. It apparently didn't go too well.
• Berserk Button: Downplayed; while he hasn't exploded in rage over it, Gohan seems to have a sensitive spot whenever somebody brings up the fact he's got no family.
• Better to Die than Be Killed: In Chapter 23, the last remaining Yakuza on the ship Gohan raided decides to shoot his brains out instead of being captured or arrested. Thankfully Gohan knocks him out before he can pull the trigger.
• Big Eater: Both Gohan and Sato bond over loving to eat a lot.
• Big Fancy House: Chapter 28 takes place in Momo's mansion, where they have a study session for the upcoming exams.
• Birthday Episode: Chapter 24, appropriately titled "Sweet Sixteen", has Gohan celebrating his 16th birthday with the rest of his classmates (sans Bakugo).
• Body-Count Competition: Chapter 22 starts with Mirko counting how many goons she's taken down during a raid in a drug factory, and gloats about beating Gohan with twenty-one over his sixteen. Later, she also takes pleasure in the fact she and Gohan took out more Nomus than Endeavor (who took out only three, while Mirko took out four and Gohan six).
• Breather Episode: Chapters 24 through 26 serve as this for Gohan, following the aftermath of Hosu, with his birthday party, the morning afterwards, and his first date with Momo.
• Bridal Carry: During the Hero vs. Villain exercise, Gohan carries Momo this way to protect her when Todoroki's ice reaches their room.
• Brutal Honesty:
  • Tsuyu, like in canon. She even admits as much.
  • Mirko as well, she doesn't mince her words and always speaks what she feels.
• The Bus Came Back: Jasper and Amethyst, the two kids Gohan saved from the fire shortly after arriving to the MHA world, return in Chapter 26. And turns out, they're Momo's cousins.
• Chronic Hero Syndrome: Gohan has a fair bit of this, and since he doesn't want to wait until he's got a Hero License to help people, he does so in secret as the Golden Blur.
• Clothing Damage:
  • Mina intentionally causes this to herself when she's being choked by Ibara's vines, to break free. While she ends up in her underwear, she isn't too bothered by it.
  • Gohan ends up on the receiving end in the final, when his upper body clothes are blasted off by Bakugo's explosions, although with no damage to himself.
• Curb-Stomp Battle: Being leagues over the rest of his peers, Gohan quickly takes out Todoroki and Shoji during the Hero vs. Villain exercise.
  • Todoroki makes short work of Momo in the first round of the tournament battles during the Sports Festival, freezing her before she's able to do anything.
  • Unfazed by Shinso's attempts to taunt him, Gohan delivers a punch that causes an air blast, sending him out of the ring, just as soon as the battle begins.
  • Bakugo vs. Kaminari. The latter attempts an electric attack only for the former to rocket himself in the air with his explosions. Bakugo then grabs Kaminari and threatens to blast him at point-blank range, forcing him to tap out.
  • Gohan vs. Tetsutetsu. The former quickly rushes at the latter and grabs him in a hold, forcing him to tap out to end the battle quickly so as to be able to face Bakugo.
  • Gohan vs. Bakugo. Unlike the competitors that Gohan faced, Bakugo was publicly humiliated by Gohan by showing to everyone how helpless he was by No Selling everything he threw at Gohan to the point that Bakugo's hands are damaged. To rub salt on the wound, Gohan was forced to dodge because to stop Bakugo ruining his hands and was defeated by Gohan with a single punch.
• Curb-Stomp Cushion:
  • Deconstructed. Gohan tries to make his fight against Mina seem this way so she gives her all and can display her abilities, but in doing so it only made her feel that he was toying with her and trying to humiliate her. Thankfully, they manage to talk things out afterwards.
  • Played straight on Gohan vs. Bakugo, but as a form of Humble Pie to Bakugo to show that how helpless he was against Gohan who did not even bother to move for the whole 30 seconds while unleashing everything to him.
• Death or Glory Attack: Kaminari's Indiscriminate Shock: Two Million Volts ends up winning him his first round match against Ochaco, but leaves him stuck in his idiot mode afterwards.
• Demoted to Extra: Mineta ends up in Class 1-B as oppossed to 1-A, due to Gohan taking up his slot.
• Distracted by the Sexy: Downplayed, but during his spar with Mirko, Gohan finds hard to stay focused as he can't help but feel aroused by her well-toned physique.
• Does Not Know His Own Strength: Gohan is usually mindful of this trope, but he has a brief slip up in Chapter 22, when he hugs Mirko in gratitude and leaves her unable to breathe. She actually thanks him for it, because it saves her a trip to the chiropractor.
• Don't You Dare Pity Me!: As per canon, this is a major issue for Bakugo, who explodes in rage when Gohan gives him back his stolen headband and rejects it on account of not wanting "charity" from him.
• Dope Slap:
  • Tsuyu gives one to Mineta with her tongue in Chapter 15, when he starts insulting Gohan.
  • Later, Jiro gives Kaminari one for making fun of Tsuyu saying "cockfighting".
• Early-Bird Cameo: Mineta Minoru and Kendo Itsuka have brief appearances during the entry exam when Gohan helps them. They're later properly introduced during the Sports Festival.
• Eating the Eye Candy: Gohan gets several whistles from the crowd when Bakugo destroys his upper clothes, leaving his muscular arms and torso exposed for all to see.
• First-Name Basis: Gohan is on these terms with Tsuyu and Mina, at their request, and with Momo as of Chapter 26 after their first date.
• Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse:
  • While Gohan sympathizes with Todoroki after he reveals his Dark and Troubled Past, Gohan tells him he can't be so selfish to half-ass things as a hero when there are lives at stake. He also calls him out on looking down on the rest of their classmates, who are giving their all in the festival.
  • Similarly, when he hears Shinso complain that he doesn't know what it feels how people mock his dream of being a hero and say that his Quirk is better suited for a villain, Gohan sympathizes and admits to himself that the system enforcing it sucks, but mentally adds that Shinso's lashing out on the wrong people and should try to change things instead of wallowing in self-pity.
• Genius Bruiser: Aside from his incredible power, Gohan is also very academically gifted student, always at the top of his classes.
• Graceful Loser: When Tetsutetsu is defeated by Gohan, he accepts his defeat with dignity and commends Gohan for beating him, and even hopes that he can give Bakugo his just desserts.
• Guns Are Worthless: Momo tries creating a couple of guns to shoot paralyzing darts at Todoroki, but she gets frozen before being able to pull the triggers.
• Heh Heh, You Said "X": Kaminari chuckles when Tsuyu calls Pokémon "Legalized cockfighting". This earns him a Dope Slap from Jiro.
• Hero-Worshipper: Gohan, like many other students, looks up to All Might and aspires to be as great as a hero as him one day.
• Honor Before Reason: When Gohan offers Team Bakugo their headband back after taking it from Monoma, Bakugo and Kirishima refuse to accept it, partly because they want to earn it fairly. Ashido and Sero, on the other hand, decide to swallow their pride and accept the help because they want to stay in the competition.
  • Similarly, Ojiro and Shoda, having been brainwashed by Shinso during the Cavalry battle, decide to withdraw from the competition, feeling they don't deserve to continue when they can't remember a thing.
  • Kirishima is forced to forfeit after his match with Sato, and is so upset about it that Class 1-A is forced to tie him up with Sero's tape to his seat to restrain him. He continues to demand that they let him fight, until his match against Tetsutetsu is officially skipped.
• Hormone-Addled Teenager: Gohan is still a teenage boy and it shows, such as when he has an Erotic Dream with Yaoyorozu, or when he gets a Raging Stiffie during a spar with Mirko on his first day of internship with her.
• Human Shield: During their final exam, All Might uses Sato as a human shield to force Gohan to stop his attacks.
• In Spite of a Nail:
  • In the U.S.J. incident, despite Gohan knocking them out with ease, Shigaraki Tomura and Kurogiri manage to slip away.
  • Izuku manages to clear the race ahead of Bakugo and Todoroki the same way he did in canon, although he ends in third place as opposed to first.
  • For the Cavalry Battle, Bakugo and Todoroki form the same teams as in canon.
  • When the tournament match-ups are about to start, in light of Ojiro and Shoda withdrawing themselves, their slots are filled by Shiozaki Ibara and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu.
  • Hatsume Mei's battle, like in canon, was less of a fight and more of her advertising her gadgets while her opponent tries (and fails) to catch her, and ends with her forfeiting. The only difference was that Midoriya was her victim as opposed to Iida.
  • Izuku ends up fighting Todoroki in the battle tournament. Unlike in canon, thanks to his training with Gohan and Todoroki's own self-imposed handicap, he wins relatively quickly by ring-out.
  • For an In-Universe example, the prologue reveals that the Dragon Balls exist in the MHA world as well.
  • Izuku ends up choosing to intern with Gran Torino, despite the fact that he got over 2400 offers unlike in canon.
  • The Hosu incident with Stain goes pretty much the same as canon, with the only major difference that Stain sustains much more damage and is left much worse for wear.
• I Shall Taunt You: Shinso does this by need, as he has to get people to reply to him before using his Brainwashing Quirk. However, as Ojiro warned Gohan, he doesn't fall for it.
• Irony: Shinso thought that Gohan was disrepecting him by taking him out easily but infact the latter was terrified of him that he takes out Shinso immediately, recognizing him as a worthy opponent; meanwhile Bakugo was humiliated by Gohan by dragging the fight by just standing and receiving the attacks that doesn't hurt him, and actually plans to Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing to break Bakugo's ego until he presses Gohan's buttons.
• I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: In Chapter 27, Mina confesses to Gohan that she likes him in a romantic way, but the latter tells her as gently as he can that, while he likes her as a friend, he doesn't return her feelings and he already has his eyes on someone else (Momo). Although she's heartbroken, she accepts it and is willing to remain friends with him.
• Jerkass Has a Point: When Bakugo points out they're in a competition where they're supposed to give their all, Gohan finds himself unable to disagree.
• Joke and Receive: When Aoyama tries to boast about his living place being better than Momo's, Kaminari jokingly asks if his folks have connections to the Yakuza. Going by canon, it's even worse, as they have connections to All For One.
• Know When to Fold 'Em: After several teams try (and fail) to get Gohan's headband during the Cavalry Battle, they decide to back off and stop going after him, realizing it'll be futile.
• Laser-Guided Karma: Mineta, quickly seeing how strong Gohan is, decides to stick to his hand and refuses to let go so Gohan will carry him all the way during the obstacle race. As a result, Gohan decides to make sure he does not enjoy the ride. Moreover, he get a five million points for the Cavalry Battle, marking him as a target once people realize they can't take them off Gohan, and while he manages to slip away for the most part, right at the end Todoroki freezes his team and snatches the headband from him.
• Last-Second Word Swap: During Chapter 29, Gohan calls Bakugo "stupid, stubborn son of a b-biscuit", swapping the word at the last second due to being in front of Recovery Girl who told him to mind his language.
• Likes Clark Kent, Hates Superman: Downplayed; Momo makes it clear she's very disapproving of the Golden Blur's actions, while she gets along with Gohan just fine.
  • Bakugo admires the Golden Blur unaware that he's Gohan, whom he clearly despises since their run-in during the entry exam.
• Loophole Abuse: Following the cancellation of his internship with Mirko and getting confined to house arrest, Gohan continues to visit her at her place for sparring sessions, since Chief Tsuragamae never specified he couldn't do his exercises with her.
• Marshmallow Hell: At one point during their match in the Sports Festival, Mina lunges at Gohan, landing her ample bossom directly on his face. The shock briefly leaves him in a blank before he can react.
• Morton's Fork:
  • For Gohan, having to take part in the Sports Festival is this. On the one hand, by not taking part he would send his classmates the wrong message and look like he doesn't respect them. On the other hand, by taking part, since he's too much stronger than any of them, he can easily breeze through the competition and steal the spotlight from them, while at the same time drawing unwanted attention to himself.
  • To a lesser extent, he realizes after his battle with Mina that the other choice he had (aka defeating her in a single blow quickly like he did Shinso) wasn't much better than what he tried to do.
  • The aftermath of the Hosu incident leaves the Police Department in a bad situation, since they can't let Gohan off the hook without suffering consequences for violating Quirk regulation laws, but punishing him would be bad for their PR considering the attention he's gathered in the media following the Sports Festival. Thankfully, Mirko solves it by Taking the Heat for him.
• Mythology Gag: Kirishima screams "It's over 9000!" when he sees the amount of internship offers Gohan received.
• No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: In the Sports Festival semifinals, Bakugo starts blasting Izuku mercilessly, even when the latter is no longer in condition to defend himself. He gets so caught up in it that he ignores Midnight's warnings that he stops three times, and barely avoids getting disqualified. It's later said that Izuku suffered facial burns so bad that Recovery Girl isn't sure they'll fully heal.
• Not a Date: When Ashido invites Gohan to go to the movies, he becomes flustered at the thought that she's asking him out on a date. Ashido quickly clears up that she just wants to hang out as friends, nothing more. Subverted later, when she confesses she had feelings for him and admits she would have liked it to be a real date.
• Oblivious to Love: Discussed in Chapter 27. Gohan admits to Mina that he may be Book Smart, but he's too dense to understand women, so he never picked up that she was attracted to him.
• Once Done, Never Forgotten: Mirko seems unwilling to let Gohan forget about the Raging Stiffie he had during their first sparring match.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: While the U.A. has plenty of talented students, all of them pale in comparison to Gohan in terms of raw power.
• Parental Substitute: Dr. Shuzenji becomes Gohan's legal guardian.
• Platonic Declaration of Love: There's a mutual one between Gohan and Mina in Chapter 27, after the former gently turns the latter down.
• Point of Divergence: By virtue of Gohan getting thrown into the MHA world. Some of the major changes include:
  • In the entry exam, Gohan scores 56 Villain Points and 90 Rescue Points, knocking Bakugo down to second place. This later gets him choosen for the opening speech at the Sports Festival.
  • Due to his activities as the Golden Blur, Gohan manages to take off some of the events that delay All Might for the U.S.J incident, resulting in All Might being present and at full strength when it happens. He even helps in defeating the Noumu.
  • When the voting for Class President goes underway, it ends in a three-way tie between Momo, Gohan and Izuku. When they go sort it out amongst themselves, Momo volunteers for being President, while Gohan accepts being Vice-President as Izuku doesn't want the position.
  • In the Sports Festival, Gohan manages to clear the obstacle race with ease, albeit having to take Mineta along because he stuck to his hand and refused to let go of him. As a result, the ten million points from canon are split in half between the two for the Cavalry Battle.
  • For the Cavalry Battle, Izuku and Ochaco team up with Gohan and Sato, leaving Hatsume Mei out right when they've filled the slots and forcing her to team up with Hitoshi Shinso in lieu of Aoyama. Likewise, Tokoyami is later seen teaming up with Mineta, Tsuyu and Shoji.
  • The match-ups for the tournament fights end up all being different to canon. Additionally, neither Aoyama nor Tokoyami make it into the tournament, due to being in different teams.
  • Izuku manages to defeat Todoroki, thanks to developing an early use of One for All's power, and the latter refusing to use his fire powers.
  • Some of the pairings and opponents for the final exams are changed. Gohan and Sato face All Might (as he's the only one who could pose a challenge for the former), whereas Izuku and Bakugo face Vlad King and end up failing the test. Meanwhile, Kirishima, who teamed up with Sato against Cementoss in canon, is paired with Sero and manage to pass.
• Pop-Cultural Osmosis Failure: When Gohan mentions Batman to Momo in chapter 17, she doesn't know who he is. She does know Superman by name, but not that he is a comic book character.
• Pressure Point: How Gohan takes out most of the Nomus he faces in Hosu, attacking their pressure points in the back to avoid killing them. He later uses the tactic against All Might during the final exams, giving Sato the opening needed to suplex him.
• Ring-Ring-CRUNCH!: Accidental example at the beginning of Chapter 10, when a half-asleep Gohan accidentally crushes his alarm clock trying to turn it off, only to realize it comes from the doorbell and not from the clock.
• Scary Librarian: In Chapter 25, Gohan takes notice of the librarian, an old woman with a beaklike nose and thick glasses, whose name he doesn't even know as she keeps to herself.
• Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!:
  • Mirko seems to have this general attitude, to the point that following the Nomu incident in Hosu, she willingly takes the blame saying that Gohan was following her orders so he won't get punished for his actions.
  • When Gohan receives the warning message from the Hero Public Safety Commission, he states in front of the class that, should he find himself in the same situation as in Hosu, he would make the same choices and save the people, Quirk regulation laws be damned.
• Secret Identity: The Golden Blur is the identity Gohan uses to do heroism acts in secret, as he'd be arrested for vigilantism due to not having yet a Hero License.
• Secret-Keeper:
  • So far, Sato is the only person to whom Gohan has come clean about his status of being from another world, as well as his activities as the Golden Blur.
  • After the studio session in Momo's mansion, Amethyst reveals she remembers Gohan as the same boy who saved her and her brother Jasper from that fire, and promises to keep his secret safe. She does, however, urge him to tell Momo about it.
• Secret Test of Character: Zigzagged during the end of term practical exams. Gohan thinks this is the case after pondering on the victory conditions that All Might puts for them, as another of the rules is that they assume the buildings are full of civilians, so them escaping may result in a failure of the mission.
• Shameless Fanservice Girl: Mina doesn't care one bit about leaving her clothes tattered and her underwear exposed, doing so to break out of Ibara's choke hold and win the match.
• Shout-Out: Several.
  • In Chapter 2, Gohan faces against a gang of criminals clearly based on Sir Crocodile and his top ranking agents in Baroque Works.
  • In Chapter 3, after exiting Giuseppe's bakery, Gohan spots a couple with their son about to get mugged by a thug with a gun, so he rushes in to help them.
  • Several video game franchises like Super Mario and Street Fighter are mentioned throughout the story. Gohan even incorporates moves from the latter into his fighting style. He later takes Momo to the arcade to play the latter during their first date, and she recognizes the moves he used from that game when they play it.
  • Sato outrights mentions Kinnikuman as his inspiration for his hero costume.
  • As a bit of a Running Gag, Kaminari is often compared to Pikachu.
  • In Chapter 10, Gohan says his landlord claims to have "ears like a cat and eyes like a rodent", which is what Mr. Ditkovich tells Peter Parker in Spider-Man 2.
  • Also in Chapter 10, on the news report discussing the weird flashing lights and explosions in Siberia, one of the experts giving their take is Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, who does his famous pose from the Ancient Aliens meme.
  • The Golden Blur movie Ashido and Gohan watch includes references to several major superhero franchises, including Superman, Spider-Man, Batman and The Flash. Additionally, Superman and Batman are mentioned by name in Chapter 17, while Gohan talks to Momo about comic superheroes to draw inspiration from. Gohan later uses Superman as part of his explanation to choose his own hero name.
  • During Ashido's not-a-date with Gohan in Chapter 12, she suggests they go the the amusement park, Mega Mountain. However, the park was closed for repairs at the time because the day prior, it was taken over by criminals who tried to ransom it back to its rich owner, only to be stopped by the Golden Blur. That scenario is the premise of the movie 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, minus the Golden Blur's involvement.
  • During the Cavalry Battle, Sato and Gohan mention the former learned to use a lasso from watching Shanghai Noon. Sato later starts delivering a barrage of punches while yelling "ORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!"
  • In Chapter 15, it's revealed that Gohan and Sato once had a weekend marathon with the Twilight movies, resulting in the latter having a distaste for werewolves.
  • Sato and Gohan make a Handshake Substitute by quoting "Cobra Kai never dies". And in Chapter 17, Gohan adds "What's the matter? The CIA got you pushing too many pencils?" while arm wrestling him.
  • In Chapter 17, Gohan crushes his newly bought can of soda out of shock when Momo calls his name. In order to help him clean up the resulting spillage, Momo uses her Quirk to make Burly Paper Towels, a very absorbent paper towel brand from The Simpsons.
  • In Chapter 19, Gohan namedrops Rocky Balboa when discussing with Midoriya his plans after he retires from being a hero.
  • In Chapter 20, Gohan quotes Steve Rogers catchphrase "I can do this all day" while fighting Bakugo in the final.
  • In Chapter 21, Sato mentions that Gohan can do a Bobby Hill voice impersonation while in disguise. Later, when Mirko visits Gohan in his appartment, she watches a Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner cartoon on TV.
  • In Chapter 22, one of the thugs Gohan takes down seems based on Franky while doing his Big Emperor along with his buddies. Gohan immediately thinks about the Power Rangers and their Megazords and decides that monstrosity must not be allowed to stand.
  • In Chapter 25, Gohan picks from the library the book Journey to the Center of the Earth, while Momo reads Pride and Prejudice.
• Shut Up, Hannibal!: When Shinso tries to lure Gohan into replying to him with insults, as soon as the fight begins Gohan punches an air blast to knock him out of the ring.
• Single Tear: Shinso lets out one after he's defeated by Gohan in a single stroke before he could even do anything.
• Slave to PR: Gohan realizes this major flaw in the Hero System in Chapter 22, due to the fact the law enforcement officers are willing to punish him and his friends despite the fact they saved many lives with their actions.
• Superpower Lottery: Anybody who meets Gohan agrees that his Super-Strength, Flight and energy projection abilities is very much this.
• The Rival: Todoroki challenges Gohan before the start of the Sports Festival, and Gohan accepts his challenge. To an extent, Bakugo too wants to one-up Gohan, as he's very bitter since the latter saved the former during the entry exam.
• Taking the Heat: Due to the fact Gohan was spotted taking down several Nomus, Chief Tsuragamae states that he can't go unpunished because he violated Quirk regulation laws. Mirko then steps in saying that he followed her orders (which is actually a lie because she let him call the shots) so the brunt of the punishment falls on her and not on him.
• Time Skip: The first two chapters take place within days of Gohan appearing in the MHA world. The third chapter then begins when he's about to enter high school.
• Too Much Information:
  • When Sato asks Mineta if his armpit and pubic hair are also sticky like his head, Gohan demands that he doesn't answer the question, since he does not need to know that.
  • In Chapter 21, when Gohan calls Sato to tell him about his internship, Sato says he was about to masturbate (most likely due to his failed date with Yuki), and Gohan replies that was too much info for his taste.
• Trapped in Another World: The whole premise is about Gohan being trapped in the My Hero Academia world.
• Trash Talk: Sato engages in some with Kirishima in order to provoke him at the beginning of their match. Turns out it was a plan he and Gohan set up to lure him into a strength contest where Sato would gain the advantage.
  • Shinso attempts this with Gohan, but the latter doesn't fall for it, and knocks him out of the ring punching an air blast at him.
• Trauma-Induced Amnesia: According to Amethyst, her brother Jasper has his memories of the incident when Gohan saved them blocked due to the trauma, so he didn't recognize him unlike her.
• Vitriolic Best Buds: While they're best friends, Sato and Gohan tend to bicker a lot with each other over silly things.
• Willfully Weak: Gohan is way more powerful than any of his peers, but he tends to hold back to avoid showing off too much and also give them the chance to prove themselves. Aizawa deconstructs this type of thinking as it'll give off false impressions.
  • Todoroki, like in canon, refuses to use his fire side out of spite for his Abusive Dad, Endeavor, although he grudgingly admits that he stands no chance against Gohan that way.
• Wrestler in All of Us: Sato, obviously. He gets to use a suplex move on All Might during the final exams.
• You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Gohan tries to cheer up Momo after she loses to Todoroki, assuring her that her intelligence makes her special in her own way.
