¡Caracoles! explanation
Arturo Mercado Chacón (born December 7, 1940) is a Mexican voice actor. Active since 1963, he is known for his wide vocal range and the ability to cover different types of characters.
Some of his notable credits include Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo, Yoda in Star Wars, Simba in The Lion King (1994), Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales and George Clooney and Jackie Chan in many of their movies.
His children, Arturo Mercado Leonel de Cervantes and Carmen Mercado, and ex-wife, Magdalena Leonel de Cervantes, are also voice actors, with Jr. being renowned in his own right.
