Noah

A mortician with an obsession with money that helps the Hunters fend off the Nepes.

Justine

A young woman with sewing skills that traverses the tower with fellow Hunters despite being a scaredy-cat.

• Self-Imposed Exile: To save herself from execution, Justine was instructed by Victor to flee for the tower, where she won't be found by her accusers.

Alex

A woman who has hunted Nepes for years, and now leads the ragtag group that made their way to the tower.

Chris

A war survivor turned alcoholic, who finds himself involved with the Hunters contending with the Nepes.

• Complaining About Rescues They Don't Like: When he is rescued after EL has been dealt with, he doesn't even thank the Creature for it.
• Drowning My Sorrows: Chris resorted to drinking to forget the pain he went through, even losing a friend on the battlefield.
• Eyes Out of Sight: Chris's eyes are completely hidden by his hair.

Ben

A strange man who lost much of his memory, resulting in his face appearing ghostly.

A childlike Nepe, who stalks the 1st Floor. She is obsessed with celebrating her birthday.

Raven

A Nepe that haunts the 2nd Floor. It is faced by the Creature in order to save Justine.

A young boy who follows Noah and Justine around the tower before taking an interest in the Nameless Creature. He's the Nepe that the Creature faces off on the 3rd Floor.

The man who created the Creature. He is the person his creation seeks answers from inside the tower.
