The protagonist of 13 Cards. All of the clones originated from him and represent different aspects of his personality.

• Adaptational Nice Guy: He sees the clones as friends and does his best to provide for them and keep them happy, unlike his FëdorХ9 counterpart, who selfishly exploited them for his personal gain.
• Author Avatar: Much like in FëdorХ9, Fëdor the character is an avatar of Fedor Comix.
• Affectionate Nickname: He is called Fedya by Felix, Gabriel, and Romeo. In the Spanish dub, Kuromaku calls him this too.
• Butt-Monkey: He frequently ends up as a victim of the clones' bizarre antics, most prominently in Clones Order Pizza.
• Hidden Depths: If the clones existence is based on his personality traits proves it, Fëdor has a far more colorful and complicated personality than he lets on.
  • In That's all, Clones!: It's revealed he didn't really had any friends growing up because his family kept moving around a lot. Fed up with it, he figured it would be better to be friends with himself and seemed to have stood by the decision until the clones came into his life. This would explain why he's attached to his clones as they provide him the friendship he wants despite knowing they drive him crazy.
• Ineffectual Loner: As revealed in That's all, Clones!, when Fëdor was a child, his family moved around a lot, so he stopped bothering to make friends and declared that he would "be friends with himself". Later in life, he would go on to summon clones of himself to help make his life easier.
• Only Sane Man: He has to be the one to put up with the antics of his 8 clones.
• Unwitting Instigator of Doom: He is the one who summoned the clones to the real world, not knowing about the chaos they were capable of causing, because he thought he could use their assistance.

• Aerith and Bob: Characters with normal names like Felix and Gabriel exist alongside characters with names like Kuromaku and Brolly.
• Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: The clones have a lot of trouble getting along with each other, or even getting along with Fëdor. That said, they each have shown that they do still care for each other like a family.
• Cast Full of Crazy: Each of the clones have quirks that make them uniquely hyperbolic. Brolly lampshades it in Episode 8 when viewing a home video of everybody.
  Brolly: Sometimes I feel like there's something wrong with us.
• Color-Coded Characters: Each character has a signature color that's associated with them.
  • Gabriel's is brown.
  • Kuromaku's is gray.
  • Dante's is red.
  • Felix's is yellow.
  • Waru's is green.
  • Brolly's is blue.
  • Romeo's is pink.
  • Spade's is purple.
• Clones Are People, Too: Despite all of them being cloned from Fëdor, the clones have different interests, personalities, and appearances. This is lampshaded in the theme song as well as a few times in the show.
  Spade: Today I learned that no one here except me knows how to hold a knife, which is weird because we're all clones!
• Cloning Splits Attributes: Rather than the clones being exact copies of Fëdor, they all look different and are based on different parts of Fëdor's personality.
• Exotic Eye Designs: The clones have white pupils in the shape of the symbol of their card suit, which are visible when they express strong emotions. Brolly and Kuromaku have club-shaped pupils, Felix and Romeo have heart-shaped pupils, Spade has spade-shaped pupils, and Gabriel has diamond-shaped pupils.
• Expendable Clone: Averted big time. As much as the clones drive Fëdor crazy, he really doesn't want anything bad to happen to them. Exchange proves it as he and Kuromaku are desperate to get everyone else back and Fëdor was completely distraught learning Kuromaku sacrificed himself.
• Lethal Chef: Anything they try to cook ends up being horrible and potentially dangerous, as shown in Clones In The Soup. This is why they have to order pizza in Clones Order Pizza.
• Literal Split Personality: The clones are all personifications of different aspects of Fëdor's personality.
• Manchild: According to Word of God, even though the clones are biologically 18 years old and thus physically adults, they still haven't adjusted to proper life in a society yet.
• Mistaken for Related: Because they're nearly physically identical to Fëdor, they can be mistaken as his brothers. Granny has actually mistaken them for Fëdor's "twins". ^note She actually meant was that she thought Fëdor and the clones are nonuplets.
• NEET: All of the clones are of working age, yet none of them work and live off of Fëdor. This puts a strain on finances, being that Fëdor's a college student only working part time. This is actually justified as in the non-canon episode "Clones Get a Job" points out that the clones can't get legal jobs as they were born from magic, so not only are they not legally citizens but they don't have documentation. If they do get a job, it would have to be one that wouldn't do background checks. So it's much less of them refusing to get jobs but rather they legally can't unless it's a shady workplace.
• Playing Card Motifs: Given how the clones were summoned from playing cards, which is reflected in the shape of their pupils. To be more specific...

  • Felix is the Jack of Hearts

• Unreliable Narrator: In Clones In The Soup, everyone tries to explain the events of the day to Fëdor with "Rashomon"-Style conflicting flashbacks, many of which are highly improbable or even outright impossible.
• World of Technicolor Hair: Some of the clones have unnatural hair colors. Waru's hair is green, Brolly's is blue, Romeo's is pink, and Spade's is purple.

Clone #2, the intelligent and stoic King of Clubs.

• Adaptational Nice Guy: The cartoon version of Kuromaku is much more polite and agreeable than his comics' counterpart, who is conceited and ornery.
• Adaptation Personality Change: In the comics, Kuromaku is quite arrogant and much more irritable than he is in the cartoon. In the cartoon, he lacks the arrogance and has a more mellow personality, though he is still somewhat annoyed by the antics of his fellow clones.
• Affectionate Nickname: Waru nicknames him "Kurobaka" in episode 6.
• Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Despite his frequent annoyance at the other clones, Clones Order Pizza reveals that he wrote them into his will, including Spade and Waru. He and Spade are also briefly worried when Romeo seems to have injured himself in episode 6.
  • If Exchange proves anything, if it ever came down to it, he would sacrifice his card and existence on Earth to fix the rest of the magic cards and return the rest of the clones from the Card World without second thought.
• Blind Without 'Em: As shown in Clones In The Soup, Kuromaku can barely see anything without his glasses, to the point where Dante's hair catches fire in front of him and he doesn't realize since Dante is a redhead. Naturally, Waru takes advantage of this.
• Deadpan Snarker: In the Spanish dub, he occasionally makes sarcastic remarks. For example, he says "que amables" ("how kind!") when reminded of the time Spade and Waru broke his glasses in Clones In The Soup.
• Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes: His eyes are almost always half open, which is fitting for his role as The Stoic of the group.
• Establishing Character Moment:
  • The theme song includes a shot of Waru driving a car through a wall with Kuromaku on the hood, and Kuromaku remains calm as ever, showing that he is The Stoic.
  • In Clones Clean Up The House, Fëdor comes home to find Kuromaku reading a newspaper and demands to know why he didn't stop the rest of the clones from messing up the apartment, and Kuromaku lowers the newspaper to show that he's been covered in paint by the others. This shows that Kuromaku is the Only Sane Man, but is unwillingly dragged into the chaos around him.
• Hidden Depths: Episode 6 reveals him to be skilled at playing the bass, to the surprise of both Brolly and Waru, who thought it wouldn't suit him.
• Meaningful Name: Slightly more obscure than the names of the other clones. "Kuromaku" means "black curtain" in Japanese and in slang, it refers to someone working behind the curtains; essentially, The Chessmaster. While Kuromaku isn't exactly The Chessmaster, he is The Smart Guy who likes to plan things out.
• Nerd Glasses: Kuromaku is the resident nerd and sports a pair of half-moon glasses.
• Not So Stoic: He panics when he is accused of being the mafia in "Clones Against The Mafia", and doesn't hesitate to beat Waru up in "Clones Order Pizza" after the latter tells him to shut up.
• Obsessively Organized: Episode 8 shows him trying to sort Dante's closet full of instant noodles by spiciness, and when he comes across Waru's infinite pairs of glasses tossed in a pile on the ground by Romeo he insists on sorting those too.
• Only Sane Man: He is the level-headed voice of reason among the clones, and the least likely to cause chaos among them. This is especially prominent in Clones Against The Mafia, when he suggested doing a thorough analysis rather than blindly accusing another clone of murder. In Clones Clean Up The House, he is also one of the only clones who wasn't involved in the plan to divide up the apartment, and it's implied that Fëdor was expecting him to stop the others from causing such chaos.
• Scary Shiny Glasses: He is prone to doing this with his glasses. The most notable examples are in a piece of promo art and quite a few times in Clones Against The Mafia.
• The Smart Guy: Kuromaku is the most intelligent out of the 8 clones, as well as the most knowledgeable. In Clones Make A Comic, he explains the history of comic books, and in Clones Order Pizza he's able to list off various nutrients that a human body needs at Waru's request.
• Smart People Wear Glasses: Kuromaku is the most intelligent of the clones and is one of the only two to wear glasses, the other being Waru.
• The Stoic: Kuromaku rarely shows much emotion, even when things get chaotic in the house. In the theme song, Waru drives a car through the wall of the apartment with Kuromaku on the hood of the car, and not even this gets Kuromaku to react strongly.
• Stoic Spectacles: He wears glasses that accentuate his stoic figure, and they may break or fall off if he shows emotion.
• Took a Level in Kindness: He's much friendlier and more polite as an 18-year-old than he was as a 14-year-old in Fëdorx9.

Clone #6, the timid and insecure Jack of Clubs.

• Butt-Monkey: He often ends up bearing the brunt of whatever chaos is going on around him. For example, he tries to watch cartoons in Clones Make A Comic only for Waru to snatch the TV remote from him and change the channel, his soup is ruined by the other clones in Clones In The Soup, and he is the first one to be killed off in Clones Against The Mafia.
• Dub Name Change: In the original Russian dub, his name is Zontik. The English dub changes this to Brolly, while the Spanish dub changes it to Goti. 
• Extreme Doormat: Due to being scared of confrontation, Brolly often lets the other clones walk all over him. In Clones Clean Up The House, the lines he drew to mark his territory have all been crossed out by Waru, and in Clones Make A Comic he does not retaliate when Waru snatches the TV remote from him and changes the channel.
• Establishing Character Moment:
  • The theme song has him panicking and rushing in to put out a fire that Dante caused, which indicates his anxious nature about the disasters around him.
  • In Clones Clean Up The House, he's sitting outside on the balcony because he's too much of a doormat and all the other territory was taken by the other clones. Looking inside the apartment reveals that he did try to mark a few small spaces for himself, but Waru crossed out all the lines that he drew.
• Giving Up the Ghost: He does this in Clones In The Soup and in his concept art.
• Hidden Depths: It turns out he's a pretty good artist and a talented musician.
• Literal-Minded: In Clones In The Soup, during Gabriel's philosophical monologue about soup as a metaphor for the universe, he asks whose soup it really is. Brolly, taking the question literally, explains that the soup from the start of the episode was his, and he made the mistake of leaving it unattended for a few minutes.
• Meaningful Name: The word "brolly" is slang for umbrella, an item that he is commonly associated with. This also applies to his original Russian name, as Zontik is the Russian word for umbrella.
• Nervous Wreck: Brolly is easily scared, and he is typically the one most likely to crash under pressure from the other clones. His Image Song is literally about him trying not to panic.
• Shrinking Violet: Brolly is very shy and insecure. As a result, he rarely speaks out against the other clones when their actions cause him distress.
• Spiders Are Scary: The non-canon episode "Clones Tell a Story" shows that Brolly is afraid of spiders, a fact that Waru takes advantage of to bully him by chasing him around the apartment with a fake spider on a string.
• Shy Blue-Haired Girl: Gender-Inverted. Brolly is a shy and cowardly boy with blue hair.
• Troubled Fetal Position: Brolly frequently sits in this position when he is scared, as seen in Clones Clean Up The House and Clones In The Soup.

Clone #7, the flamboyant and perverted King of Hearts.

• Adaptation Personality Change: Although Romeo is still a Lovable Sex Maniac in the cartoon, he isn't as much of an Attention Whore as he is in the comics. His horniness is also significantly downplayed, and instead he's mostly focused on self-improvement.
• Ambiguously Bi: Romeo is quite effeminate in terms of fashion sense and overall behavior. However, it is unclear if he is bi, as he lusts after women, but also hits on the other clones.
• Carpet of Virility: He is shown with one of these in his Image Song, in contrast with Felix, who has one single chest hair.
• The Dandy: He is quite the flamboyant individual who is always well dressed and finds cleaning disgusting, as shown in the stinger for Clones Against The Mafia. He even has a British accent in the English dub.
• Establishing Character Moment:
  • The theme song shows him winking seductively at the camera.
  • His first appearance in Clones Clean Up The House has him lying inside a blanket fort and suggestively asking Fëdor if he wants to "have a taste of [his] sweet fruit".
• The Fashionista: He loves trying on different outfits, as seen in Spade's Image Song.
• Foil: He is the exact opposite of Kuromaku in terms of science. Romeo is a humanities major, while Kuromaku is a technical major.
• The Hedonist: As revealed in All Inclusive, Romeo prefers self satisfaction and constant pleasure over his own apartment. this of course ends up costing him big time in the episode.
• Hidden Depths: Word of God is that Romeo does not feel hatred towards anybody and doesn't care what other people think of him, and this is why he remains largely unfazed by Waru. His indifference to Waru's actions is seen a few times in the show, like in Clones Order Pizza where instead of getting mad at Waru for snatching his pizza he tries to reason with him by telling him he's had the smallest slice so far and he's still hungry, and episode 8 where his reaction to Waru eating his ingredients while he was cooking is to simply shoot him a mildly annoyed look.
• Hollywood Tone-Deaf: His singing in episode 6 is absolutely atrocious, and everyone in-universe covers their ears (except Brolly, who covers Gabriel's for him).
• In Touch with His Feminine Side: Romeo is quite flamboyant and enjoys fashion, skincare, cooking, and soap operas.
• It's All About Me: In Clones Order Pizza, he not only doesn't tip Fëdor for delivering the pizza, but asks him for money and slams the door in his face after taking it.
• Lovable Sex Maniac: He can be pretty lewd most of the time. What with him asking Fëdor to "have a taste of his sweet fruit," in Clones Clean Up The House and drawing what is implied to be smut when fixing Brolly's comic in Clones Make A Comic. 
• Meaningful Name: The term "Romeo" is often used to refer to a male lover.
• Pink Is Erotic: The token pervert of the clones whose signature color happens to be pink.
• Phoneaholic Teenager: He's 18 years old and usually glued to his smartphone.
• Playful Cat Smile: He has this as his default expression.

Clone #4, the cheerful yet short tempered Jack of Hearts.

• Animal Motifs: He's associated with polar bears, as per his Image Song. Specifically, he's associated with two polar bears to make a Visual Pun that he's kind of bipolar.
• Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: In episode 6, he willingly joins Waru’s band and helps him hide a microphone he broke, showing that, despite their constant bickering, he really does like Waru deep down. He also refers to both Spade and Waru as "friends" in Clones Order Pizza.
• Beware the Nice Ones: Felix is mostly friendly and sweet, but he has a Hair-Trigger Temper and is prone to turning aggressive when irritated.
• Cute and Psycho: Felix is incredibly sweet and optimistic most of the time. However, he also has a short temper and some Ax-Crazy tendencies, especially when dealing with Waru.
• Establishing Character Moment:
  • In the theme song, he is using his fingers to push his face into a wide smile, highlighting his happy yet unstable nature.
  • In Clones Clean Up The House, when Fëdor returns home and demands to know what happened to the apartment, Felix greets him excitedly and explains what happened in a peppy and cheerful tone.
• Exhausted Eye Bags: He is depicted with these in episode 8.
• Expressive Shirt: Felix's shirt normally has a smiley face, but the expression on the face changes to reflect his emotional state. In episode 7, this is used as foreshadowing that Felix is just pranking Waru, since the expression on his shirt remains happy the whole time no matter how "scared" he gets.
• Friend to All Living Things: In Clones Clean Up The House, he builds a miniature city for a swarm of cockroaches and is devastated when Fëdor, who is terrified and disgusted, throws it out the window.
• Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Downplayed as Felix is prone to getting angry, but for the most part, he is genuinely a kind and loving person.
• Hair-Trigger Temper: He gets angry easily, especially because of Waru's antics. Lampshaded in episode 6, where Felix admits that he has trouble handling his emotions.
• Horrible Judge of Character: In Spade's Image Song he believes that Spade is genuinely offering him a loving hug, and in episode 6 he's shocked to find out that Brolly has stage fright.
• Jerkass to One: Felix is nice and friendly to everyone except Waru, who he is usually angry at. Justified since Waru is a Jerkass who intentionally ruins things for everyone else, and Felix is often the victim of his pranks.
• Keet: Felix is cheerful, talkative, excitable, and cute.
• Meaningful Name: Felix's name means "happy", and he is one of the most cheerful and optimistic clones.
• Mood-Swinger: Felix regularly swings from happy and friendly, to frustrated and furious in the blink of an eye.
• No Sense of Personal Space: In Clones Clean Up The House, he keeps invading Spade's personal space, to the latter's annoyance.
• The Pollyanna: Subverted. Felix has a sunny disposition and claims to always want to look on the positive side of things, but in reality, he's easily upset.
• Stepford Smiler: Felix typically acts like an optimist, but deep down, he is mentally unstable and quick to anger. This is best illustrated in his Image Song.
• Yellow Is Cheerful: Played with; his signature color is yellow and he is generally upbeat and cheery, though he has some Cute and Psycho tendencies.

Clone #3, the laid back & philosophical King of Diamonds.

• Beneath the Mask: Is outwardly a very chill person but is shown to still take offense at some of the other clones' jabs, albeit kept to himself. When Spade chews Dante out for being late for band practice once, Dante gets visibly annoyed and quietly quits the band in response, along with leaving a passive aggressive quote for Spade, though this case is more Played for Laughs. This trope is more Played for Drama in the Joker Presents short Endless, where he slowly succumbs to despair from the inside for being stranded in the Card World for years, despite appearing outwardly that he's still composed and meditating.
• Big Ol' Eyebrows: Dante has noticeably thicker eyebrows than the other seven clones.
• Establishing Character Moment: In Clones Clean Up The House, we see him lying on the couch covered in paint from the other clones, which establishes Dante's nature as a Lazy Bum (since he didn't bother to get up while the others were painting the couch, resulting in them having to paint over him). When questioned about it, he responds with a proverb, showing that he is The Philosopher and almost exclusively Speaks in Shout-Outs.
• Fiery Redhead: Inverted. Dante is the most mellow and easygoing of the clones.
• Hidden Depths: Clones Order Pizza shows that even though Dante usually speaks in quotes and confuses people, he's perfectly capable of having a normal conversation and bonding with someone else when he feels like it.
• Lazy Bum: Dante is so lazy that when the other clones split up the apartment by painting lines to mark their territory in Clones Order Pizza, he lets them paint over him instead of getting off the couch, and when playing Mafia in Clones Against The Mafia he falls asleep, forcing Felix to raise his hand to vote on his behalf. He also uses "the only thing that can truly be clean is your soul" as an excuse not to do laundry.
• Major Injury Underreaction: Dante occasionally experiences severe Amusing Injuries, like having his hair burned off in Clones In The Soup and getting stabbed in the back in Clones Against The Mafia, but he remains incredibly chill and shows no signs of pain.
• Meaningful Name: He shares a name with the famous poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri.
• Mellow Fellow: Dante is quite a relaxed individual, to the point of rarely expressing any strong emotions. Nothing fazes him, not even having his hair set on fire thanks to Waru.
• No Sense of Personal Space: He likes sleeping in Fëdor's bed, to Fëdor's annoyance, as he often doesn't realize Dante's in bed with him until it's too late.
• Not So Above It All: While he is generally easygoing and often stays out of the chaos created by the other clones, he is not opposed to teaming up with them to get revenge on Waru for the trouble he causes now and then.
• Perpetual Smiler: Dante is nearly always portrayed smiling, even when he's asleep.
• The Philosopher: He is constantly spouting quotes and proverbs.
• The Quiet One: Even on the odd times when Dante doesn't quote a proverb, he doesn't speak much compared to the rest of the clones. Even Brolly looks more like a chatterbox in comparison to Dante.
• Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Dante often leaves when the other clones start wreaking havoc, and tries to stay out of their antics.
• Sleepyhead: He is almost always dozing off. In Clones Make A Comic, he spends his time sleeping in Fëdor’s bed instead of participating in the contest.
• Speaks in Shout-Outs: Dante almost exclusively speaks in proverbs, usually quoting Laozi. The only times he's avoided it are in Clones Order Pizza, while hanging out one-on-one with Brolly, and in Clones Make A Comic, while calling out Waru for tracing art.
• Trademark Favorite Food: He loves instant noodles, to the point where episode 8 shows that he has an entire closet full of them.

Clone #1, the quirky and curious Jack of Diamonds.

• All-Loving Hero: Gabriel likes cats and pigeons, and is the only clone to never show annoyance or animosity towards any of the others. Heck, he's even on friendly terms with Waru.
• Animal Motifs: He tends to be associated with cats, as shown in the credits for Clones Against The Mafia & the fact that he has pointy ears and cat-like eyes.
• Character Tics: Gabriel blinks with one eye at a time. Usually he does this on screen to show to the audience how disconnected he is with what's currently happening.
• Cloudcuckoolander: Gabriel has a pretty odd outlook on life. Some things he does include falling from the balcony whenever he needs to get winter clothes in the stinger for Clones Order Pizza and eating on the ground with pigeons in Clones Make A Comic.
• Curious as a Monkey: Gabriel is CONSTANTLY asking questions, ranging from the meaning of life to whether killing a murderer would just lead to the amount of murderers being the same. This is also what his Image Song is primarily about.
• Establishing Character Moment: In Clones Clean Up The House, he is first shown sitting on the chandelier, establishing that he is an oddball.
• Friend to All Living Things: Gabriel gets along well with animals like cats and pigeons.
• Intergenerational Friendship: He becomes friends with Granny after helping her clean her apartment in Clones Clean Up The House.
• Loon with a Heart of Gold: Despite his status as a cloudcuckoolander, Gabriel is one of the nicest clones and is even friendly with people like Spade and Waru.
• Nice Guy: He helps Granny clean her apartment in Clones Clean Up The House and is the only person to express any concern over the idea of executing Waru in Clones Against The Mafia.
• Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Gabriel's oddness creeps out the other clones at times. After being fed a spoonful of the soup in Clones In The Soup, Gabriel briefly became more lucid and started speaking in a deeper voice, creeping Spade out. In Clones Tell Scary Stories, Gabriel freaks Waru out by talking about a new "friend" of his and how his friend told him that if Fëdor dies, all of the clones will die as well.
• Obfuscating Stupidity: He acts incredibly ditzy and unaware of what is going on around him, yet it is shown he knows more than he is letting on.
• Pointy Ears: Unlike the other clones, Gabriel's ears are pointy, possibly to reflect his odd outlook on life and his interest in cats.
• Tsurime Eyes: Gabriel has these to reflect how he is commonly associated with cats.

Clone #8, the hot-headed and animalistic King of Spades.

• Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: He's briefly concerned for Romeo when the latter appears to have injured himself, though he goes back to being annoyed at him after finding out that he's okay.
• Brutal Honesty: Spade really doesn't hold his opinion back. He admits to taking a star off Fëdor's rating just because he's Fedor in Clones Order Pizza and picks Dante over Felix as the drummer in their band simply because he finds Dante less annoying in Clones Play In A Band. This is Played for Drama in Endless, where him shooting down any hopes the clones have while stuck in the Card World leads to them all but Spade himself snapping and disintegrating.
• Camera Shy: That's all, Clones! reveals that he hates being recorded via video camera, creating a Running Gag where he tries to destroy the camera any time Felix or Waru is recording something in the general vicinity.
• Can't Take Criticism: In Clones Make A Comic, Spade begins taking out a knife to threaten Fëdor with when the latter criticizes his and Brolly's comic.
• Claustrophobia: It is implied, and outright stated by Word of God, that Spade is claustrophobic, as evidenced by him freaking out in the 1st episode at the mere thought of being sent back to the Card World and him complaining about living in a cramped apartment in episode 6.
• Comedic Sociopathy: Spade allows Waru to leave Kuromaku out on the balcony in the middle of winter in Clones Order Pizza when Waru informs him that they're both in Kuromaku's will and can take his belongings if he dies. There's also a Running Gag about him threatening people with knives to get his way.
• Devilish Hair Horns: Spade has 2 tufts of hair on the top that sometimes curl up into horns when he gets angry. Downplayed in that Spade isn't necessarily evil, just short-tempered.
• Disproportionate Retribution: He's prone to responding in extreme ways when someone does something that agitates him. Examples include threatening Fëdor with a knife for petty reasons and throwing Waru out of the window for lightly slapping him on the arm in Clones In The Soup.
• Dub Name Change: In the original Russian dub, his name is Pik.
• Establishing Character Moment:
  • The theme song includes a shot of him and Waru as giants who are staring down threateningly at the clubs and hearts, showing that both members of the spades suit are aggressive and dangerous.
  • Clones Clean Up The House has him stubbornly refuse to help with the chores. The ensuing conversation reveals that he threatened Fëdor with a knife a while ago, and he only gets up from the couch to throw Waru in the trash can because of his annoying pranks.
• Expressive Hair: Part of his hair sticks up in two points that resemble devils horns or pointy animal ears. Depending on his mood, these points can either curl inward or flatten outward.
• Fangs Are Evil: He has sharp fangs, downplayed in that he is more aggressive than outright evil.
• Hair-Trigger Temper: Spade is quick to anger, whether it is him getting into fights or whipping out his knife when things don't go his way. He is not above threatening Fëdor with a knife, and frequently gets into fistfights with Waru.
• Hates Being Touched: Spade is irritated by Felix's physical contact with him throughout Clones Clean Up The House, even going so far as to punch Felix for hugging him. He also gets into a brawl with Waru when the latter slapped his shoulder in Clones In The Soup.
• It's All About Me: He prioritizes his own desires above everyone else's. For example, in Clones Clean Up The House he threatens Fëdor into letting him keep the wall that Fëdor had asked him to take down, and in Clones Order Pizza he tries to take the last slice of pizza instead of saving it for Brolly and Dante.
• Meaningful Name: Spade's card is the King of Spades, and his name reflects that.
• Nobody Touches the Hair: His Image Song is about how he hates it when people try to comb his hair.
• Psycho Knife Nut: A Running Gag in the series is him threatening people, especially Fëdor, with a knife.
• Red Eyes, Take Warning: When he gets incredibly angry, Spade's pupils turn red with spade suits in them. 
• Tsurime Eyes: Spade has these to reflect his aggressive nature.
• Ungrateful Bastard: Despite Fëdor being their main source of income, Spade isn't above taking off a star off his review just because he felt like it in Clones Order Pizza.
• Yellow Eyes of Sneakiness: Spade has yellow eyes, possibly to reflect his aggressive and short-tempered nature.

Clone #5, the mischievous and arrogant Jack of Spades.

• Attention Whore: The goal of his antics is to receive attention from others.
• Big Eater: In Clones Order Pizza, he eats his own slice of the pizza, locks Kuromaku out on the balcony to steal his slice, and despite having had more than anyone else, he tries to snag a third slice.
• Bizarre Taste in Food: He's seen pouring himself a glass of chicken juice from the fridge in Clones In The Soup, and it's implied that he would have tried the pizza with pears in Clones Order Pizza.
• Book Dumb: Zigzagged. Waru dislikes educational programming because he wants to watch TV to "get stupider", has no idea what nutrients a human body needs besides carbohydrates and proteins, and struggles with spelling. However, he has a good knowledge of basic chemistry as well as random facts (e.g. the lifespan of a cockroach), which he uses for the sake of being mean to people.
• Comedic Sociopathy: He's prone to cruel, awful behavior that's Played for Laughs.
• Does Not Like Spam: He hates pineapple on pizza.
• Drives Like Crazy: The theme song shows him driving a car through the wall of the apartment on purpose, with a terrified Romeo in the passenger seat, Kuromaku on the hood, and Gabriel clinging to the roof while Fëdor watches on in dismay.
• Establishing Character Moment:
  • The theme song contains a scene of him and Spade as giants who menacingly look down on the hearts and clubs, showing that they're both formidable and aggressive. There's also a scene of him intentionally driving a car through the apartment wall from the inside and a scene of him laughing at a video of the earth being destroyed on TV, highlighting his love of chaos and destruction. 
  • The series opens with Waru narrating an inaccurate version of the events of Land of Kings in which the other clones are made to look lame and Waru himself is made to look cool, showing that Waru is an egomaniac. The scene then shifts to reveal that Waru has actually just taken control of the bathroom at home, and is using his newfound "authority" to prevent anyone else from using the bathroom, establishing that he likes to cause problems on purpose.
• Everyone Has Standards: Despite his general disregard for other people and their belongings, he's nonplussed to see Dante sleeping in Fëdor's bed in "Clones Make a Comic".
• Eye Glasses: The spirals on his glasses change to reflect his emotions in the same way a pair of eyes would, with his actual eyes being hidden from the viewers' sight.
• Eyes Out of Sight: Waru's eyes are never seen by the viewers. He turns his back to the viewers when removing his glasses in Clones Clean Up The House, his eyes are Censored for Comedy in Clones Against The Mafia, and in episode 8 when Romeo tries to take his glasses off it turns out he's wearing more glasses underneath. A Freeze-Frame Bonus in episode 8 shows his bare eye after Romeo removes all the glasses, but since he's asleep his eyes are closed anyway.
• The Friend Nobody Likes: The other clones are mostly irritated by him, or indifferent at best; even the normally stoic Kuromaku has been enraged to the point of beating him up, and Dante, who usually stays out of the other clones' shenanigans, has joined in on their attempts to get revenge on Waru for his antics. In episode 6, Spade and Kuromaku reject him from their band for no apparent reason other than their dislike of him (unlike Romeo, who was rejected for being a terrible singer, or Brolly, who was rejected for having stage fright).
• The Gadfly: Waru likes to make fun of Fëdor and the other clones, provoke them, and pull pranks on them to get a rise out of them.
• Green and Mean: Waru is the most morally dubious and mischievous out of the 8 clones. He also has green hair and is obsessed with the color green, to the point of always wearing green glasses that make everything around him look green and wanting to paint everything green, as shown in his Image Song, to achieve a green kingdom.
• Hidden Depths: Clones In The Soup reveals that he has a good knowledge of basic chemistry, which he incorporates into his pranks.
• Hypocrite:
  • In Clones Clean Up The House, when Fëdor talks about "the pests" (referring to Felix's cockroaches), Waru jokes that Fëdor is talking about the other seven clones. This is despite Waru being the only clone who goes out of his way to intentionally be a pest to those around him.
  • In Clones Make A Comic, he calls Dante out for sleeping in Fëdor's bed, even though Waru himself has very little regard for other people's property and even paints everyone's stuff green in his Image Song because it's his favorite color. In addition, at that very moment, Waru is stealing someone else's art, thus disrespecting their personal property, which is lampshaded by Dante.
  • He enjoys things like chicken juice and pears on pizza, but is disgusted by his fellow clones' love of pineapple on pizza (a normal, albeit controversial topping) and quite vocal about it.
• It Amused Me: His primary motivation for most of his evil actions is his own entertainment.
• It's All About Me: Waru is quite selfish and rarely considers the needs of other people. This is best exemplified in Clones Order Pizza, where he locks Kuromaku out on the balcony on a cold winter night to take his slice of the pizza, snatches a slice of pizza out of Romeo's hand (despite Romeo having had the smallest slice of the pizza and Waru having already eaten two slices), and refuses to leave any leftovers for Brolly and Dante, who weren't home at the time.
• Jerkass: Waru is quite an unpleasant and mean individual who antagonizes the other clones. Some things he does include pulling Kuromaku's pants down in Dante's Image Song, purposefully ruining Fëdor's comic in Clones Make A Comic, and locking Kuromaku out on the balcony in the middle of winter so he can eat his pizza and raid his closet in Clones Order Pizza.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Word of God is that Waru isn't purely evil and that there is some good in him, though it only comes out in very specific circumstances.
• Karma Houdini: He gets away with no consequences for his actions in "Clones Tell a Story", Clones Clean Up The House, and Clones Order Pizza.
• Large Ham: He's prone to this when one of his schemes come to fruition, such as in "Clones Clean Up the House" where (under the impression that the soap bubbles are green) he announces that the era of his "Great Green Kingdom" has begun, or where he lets out a bout of maniacal laughter after eating the ingredients that Romeo was cooking with in episode 8.
• Lazy Bum: When he's not pranking people, he's usually sleeping or lazing around. He also does not contribute to the housework in any way, as shown in Clones Clean Up The House and Clones Against The Mafia; the former has him spend his time pulling pranks while the other clones are doing chores, and the latter shows him sneaking away when the others agree to clean up the mess they made.
• Meaningful Name: "Waru" is Japanese for "evil".
• Never My Fault: Much like in Fëdorx9, he blames Fëdor for the clones doing the things they do since they're his clones instead of taking responsibility for his actions. Also, in "Clones in the Soup", he denies the current state of the apartment and the soup being his fault despite the fact that he was the primary instigator for almost all of the events that led to it.
• The Nicknamer: He occasionally refers to the other clones by nicknames he came up with for them.
• Picky Eater: He hates pineapple on pizza as well as vegetables.
• The Prankster: Waru spends most of his time pulling pranks on the other clones and Fëdor, and many of the episode plots are instigated by the other clones having to deal with the results of his antics.
  • In Clones Clean Up The House, he swaps the laundry detergent for bubble bath while Felix is doing laundry, causing the apartment to be flooded with soap bubbles.
  • In Clones In The Soup, he comes up with various pranks to pull on Spade, Dante, and Kuromaku, ruining the soup in the process.
  • In episode 7, he tries to prank the other clones by making a fake ouija board where he controls the planchette using a magnet. The others catch wind of his plan in advance and use it to prank him back.
  • In episode 8, one of the flashbacks shows him sneaking into the kitchen while Romeo is preparing food and eating the ingredients while he isn't looking.
• Quirky Curls: He's a rather eccentric and rebellious person, and has curly hair.
• Riddle for the Ages: Whatever Waru looks like without his glasses on. Romeo tried to pull them off Waru once while he slept, only for another pair of glasses to be in their place and another one, ad nauseum.^note A Freeze-Frame Bonus reveals that Romeo did manage to get all the glasses off but Waru was still asleep the entire time so the audience never gets to see what his eyes look like.
• Speech Impediment: In the Russian dub, Waru has rhotacism and is unable to properly pronounce the letter R. The Stinger for episode 7 shows him trying to sound out the letter R in bed while everyone else is asleep.
• Token Evil Teammate: He is the only one of the clones to be outright malicious. Unlike Spade, who is merely aggressive, Waru enjoys going out of his way to torment other people for fun.
• The Trickster: He frequently messes with and plays tricks on the other clones and even Fëdor.
• Unreliable Narrator: In addition to being one of the people to give Fëdor an incorrect flashback in Clones In The Soup, he also opens the series with a highly inaccurate retelling of the events of Land of Kings, in which he has tremendous power that nobody else has, and Waruland is a wonderful place that everyone wants to get into.^note In the actual Land of Kings continuity, all the clones have a roughly equal amount of power that they use in different ways, and Waruland is a fascist dictatorship that at least one person has desperately tried to escape.

The joker of the deck of cards, who is currently still in his card.

• Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In Waru’s Image Song, he and Waru were on friendly terms with one another. In the actual series, they’re both terrified of one another, with Joker speaking to Waru being enough to make the latter's glasses crack from stress.
• Creepy Blue Eyes: Joker has these, which is especially noticeable when pretending to be someone else. These automatically give it away as Joker himself.
• Early-Bird Cameo: He appears in the end credits of Clones Make A Comic, long before his first appearance in Clones Tell Scary Stories.
• Exactly What It Says on the Tin: His name is Joker and he is the joker from the deck of magical playing cards.
• Fangs Are Evil: He has sharp fangs and, unlike Spade, is entirely villainous.
• Hypocritical Humor: In the Russian dub, he nicknames Waru "Green". This is despite the fact that Joker himself has a predominantly green color palette. Averted in the English dub, as he instead calls Waru "4 eyes".
• Knight of Cerebus: When he shows up, the tone takes a drastic turn for more scary and creepy. Heck, he caused Waru to be reduced to a scared little man! In the spin-off season "Joker Presents", in which he is a central figure, the series goes from a silly animated sitcom to a series that's tragic and borders on horror.
• Monster Clown: He is a Joker after all. He does tease like Waru does, however, he is much more mean-spirited and enjoys tormenting others while laughing afterwards. Additionally, as shown in Dead Souls and the entirety of Joker Presents, he can enter dreams.
• Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: The show is typically lighthearted and comedic. However, when Joker shows up, things take a turn for the scary and depressing. Anyone who interacts with Joker ends up scared afterwards.
• Villainous Harlequin: As he is a Joker, he has a jester-like appearance, complete with circus music playing in "Joker Presents", where he is the framing device & is entirely antagonistic.

• Intergenerational Friendship: She is an old lady who befriends the 18-year-old Gabriel.
• Locked Out of the Loop: She has no idea about the magic cards or the fact that the main characters are clones, instead believing that Fëdor and the clones are a set of identical nonuplets.
• No Name Given: She is simply listed as "Granny" in the credits.
