  • Actually Pretty Funny: She outright laughs at the nude drawing Pinkie did of Tyson.
  • Lovely Assistant: She serves as Tyson's secretary, and her looks definitely don't go undermined, as Tyson introduces her as a "beautiful woman". The half-lidded eyes and clothing choice only serve to prove this description. Surely that sleeveless button down has to violate some dress code...
  • Not So Above It All: Despite her stoic demeanor, Nalia laughs at the nude drawing Pinkie did of Tyson, and is revealed to be scared of unicorns of all things.

School Challenge Contestants

    Diego

Diego

Age: 16
Label: The Creepy Guy
Placement: 10th
Eliminated: Fear of Detention?

  • Book Dumb: He mentions that he’s bad at math, and it shows when he fails to correctly answer even the easiest questions.
  • The Mad Hatter: He states multiple times that he believes being weird is normal and admits to Larry during their first on-screen interaction that he's always spied on him, doing so with absolutely no hesitation.
  • Nobody's That Dumb: During Prom Night, Diego reveals to Larry that he knows he doesn't like him. This takes Larry by surprise, to which Diego states he's "not that stupid".
  • Oblivious to Hatred: Subverted. While it initially seemed like Diego was unaware of Larry’s dislike towards him, "Prom Night" establishes that it’s not the case.
  • Shipper on Deck:
    • He’s one for Larry and Ivan long before they got together. During "Prom Night", he teams up with Pinkie to help the two talk about their feelings.
    • While he doesn’t support Phoenix in the finale like everyone else, Diego does congratulate him and Yolanda on their "marriage".
  • Stalker Without a Crush: Diego only tells Larry that his reasons behind stalking him are part of a "long story", but it's clear that he has no intention to get with Larry, given his efforts to get him to confess to Ivan during Prom Night and him calling Ivan Larry's "boyfriend" long before they got together.

    Gloria

Gloria

Age: 16
Label: The Hopeless Romantic
Placement: 9th
Eliminated: Sweet Revenge

  • Attention Whore: She is obsessed with getting attention from boys, especially Sean.
  • Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Her shirt is tied in a knot, which also exposes her midriff.
  • Did Not Get The Guy: After being all over Sean throughout School Challenge, Gloria loses interest in him after the latter rightfully yelled at her and Isabel for harassing Petunia. Then again, it was obvious from the start that she was never going to be with Sean.
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Gloria is one the more girly students in the show. Yet, she’s also quick to start fights with Isabel over Sean.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: It is stated in her audition tape that she becomes very serious when she sees someone trying to "steal" her crush; this is proven by her anger towards Isabel when she sees her trying to flirt with Sean.
  • Hidden Depths: "Sweet Revenge" reveals that she knows Englishnote , which got her a point during detention where she had to translate languages into Spanishnote . Too bad this doesn’t save her when she’s competing against Pinkie, who knows more languages that aren’t just Japanese.
  • Insane Troll Logic: When she and Isabel see Petunia and Sean dancing with each other, they jump to the conclusion that Petunia lied about her sexuality so that she could be with Sean, not even considering the idea that they’re only dancing as friends.
  • Irony: The girl who entered School Challenge to look for a boyfriend still ends up single by the end of it. Additionally, the guy she ends up fawning over throughout the season is incredibly put off by her desperate advances.
  • Love Hungry: Tries to force herself onto Sean constantly with her advances and fights with Isabel in order to win over his love.
  • Love Triangle: She competes with Isabel for Sean’s love. It’s too bad for them he’s not interested.
  • Loving a Shadow: For all her talk on wanting Sean, it’s pretty clear that Gloria is just in love with the idea of Sean as boyfriend material, even with his obvious disinterest in mind. "Prom Night" further establishes this when Sean not only stops her and Isabel from attacking Petunia, but also hits his Rage Breaking Point with them, effectively causing her to lose interest in him.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Her nickname for Isabel is "Isaugly".
  • Red Is Violent: Her pants and hair are red and she doesn’t hesitate to have cat fights with Isabel. Her dress in "Prom Night" is also red.

    Isabel

Isabel

Age: 17
Label: The Beauty
Placement: 7th
Eliminated: A Night Full of Hopelessness

  • Absurd Phobia: She’s afraid of dirty things, something that Phoenix finds pathetic when the two face off in cleaning the janitor’s closet.
  • Attention Whore: She was interested in auditioning for School Challenge once she heard it would be on TV.
  • Big "NO!": Lets one out once informed about having to see Gloria again after her elimination.
  • Did Not Get The Guy: After being all over Sean throughout School Challenge, Isabel loses interest in him after the latter rightfully yelled at her and Gloria for harassing Petunia. Then again, it was obvious from the start that she was never going to be with Sean.
  • Female Misogynist: Implied through a couple of instances. She tells Yolanda that she finds reading boring and less attractive for a woman when convincing her to participate in a girl’s night, and shames Gloria for wanting to spend the million on boys as she views it as something a prostitute would do.
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Isabel is interested in fashion and makeup, as well as being a Neat Freak, to the point of having an Absurd Phobia over anything dirty. Yet, she’s also quick to start fights with Gloria over Sean.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: During "Prom Night", Isabel was not pleased to see Petunia dancing with Sean, and attempted to attack her over it before Sean stopped her from doing so.
  • Insane Troll Logic: When she and Gloria see Petunia and Sean dancing with each other, they jump to the conclusion that Petunia lied about her sexuality so that she could be with Sean, not even considering the idea that they’re only dancing as friends.
  • Letting Her Hair Down: In the prom episode, her hair is let down.
  • Love Triangle: She competes with Gloria for Sean’s love. It’s too bad for them he’s not interested.
  • Loving a Shadow: For all her talk on wanting Sean, it’s pretty clear that Isabel is just in love with the idea of Sean as boyfriend material, even with his obvious disinterest in mind. "Prom Night" further establishes this when Sean not only stops her and Gloria from attacking Petunia, but also hits his Rage Breaking Point with them, effectively causing her to lose interest in him.
  • Neat Freak: After Tyson mentions the school’s bedrooms, Isabel’s only concern with the rooms is if they’re clean or not. This is given more attention during her second detention, where she claims to have a phobia of things that are extremely dirty.
  • Odd Friendship: She forms one with Yolanda during the series.
  • Slut-Shaming: When Gloria admits that she would spend the money on boys, Isabel tells her that that’s something a prostitute would do, which led to another fight between the two.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: She’s the Girly Girl to Yolanda’s Tomboy.

  • Flowers of Femininity: Petunia is a feminine girl and her prom outfit has flowers on it.
  • Gayngst: Reveals in "Support and Betrayal" that her big secret is the fact that she is a lesbian and how she’s scared of what her family will think if they find out.

Phoenix

Label: The Fugitive
Placement: 2nd
Eliminated: Last Day of School

  • Hidden Depths:
    • "Sweet Revenge" reveals Pinkie to be an Omniglot, which helps her when the second detention was about translating languages into Spanishnote .
    • "I’ll Do It for You" has her successfully bake a 3-layered-cake by placing it in the oven for under a minute.
    • "Swim for Love" reveals that she’s good at drawing. Too bad she wasted her talent on a nude drawing of Tyson.
  • Insane Troll Logic: In "Support and Betrayal", she angrily misinterprets Sean’s confusion on what Anime is as proof that he’s an "Anime Hater", and even nominates him for it in the same episode.
  • Irony: Because Pinkie drew a good, if somewhat inappropriate picture of Tyson, she’s eliminated over Phoenix, who doesn't know how to draw.
  • Never My Fault: She claims that her suspension was unfair, yet it doesn’t occur to her that it wouldn’t have happened in the first place had she not drawn an inappropriate picture of Tyson.
  • Psycho Pink: Pink is obviously her color theme, though god knows what she can be capable of if you piss her off.
  • Shipper on Deck: Pinkie is a massive one over her "yaoi" ships, especially for Larry and Ivan. She even teams up with Diego during "Prom Night" to help Larry and Ivan talk about their feelings.

  • Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: Her name is Pinkie.
  • Womanchild: Pinkie is 16, yet she acts very childish and immature throughout the season.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: One of the major shticks of her character, made very evident from her instant shipping of Larry and Ivan the second they interact with each other. Label: The Know-It-All
Placement: 1st
Eliminated: N/A

  • Affectionate Nickname: During their Belligerent Sexual Tension, Phoenix refers to her as "Princess" or something else along the lines of "beautiful" or "cutie", though this was mostly to mess with her.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Her constant bickering with Phoenix starts due to his game manipulation tactics, but their sexual tension starts to become more evident once he begins flirting with her; to the dismay of Yolanda, as she'd already been experiencing physical attraction towards him before the flirting. • Brainy Brunette: Yolanda has brown hair and is one of the smarter students.

  • The Prankster: He likes playing pranks on other people, which gave him a mixed reputation back home.
  • Shipper on Deck: One of the things he does following his Jerkass Realization is trying to help Marc with his attempts to win Roxanne’s heart. Of course, those moments go awry for obvious reasons, but the point still stands.

    Esther

And her Rage Breaking Point over it happened after he refused to take the hint to leave her alone. Fortunately, Aaron goes through a Jerkass Realization after she called him out and vows to make amends with those he previously hurt with his jokes.

  • Crush Blush: He sports this around Peyton.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Peyton is attracted to him.
  • No-Sell: Compared to the rest of his alliance members, Manuel doesn’t buy Victor’s nice act since the latter clearly showed no qualms with hurting him and Peyton just to try and win the first Teacher’s Pet.

  • Imaginary Love Triangle: During "An Unpleasant New Beginning", Marc believed that he’s already got Roxanne and Sara fighting over him (along with claiming that he’s not "delulu"). In reality, the two can’t stand him for being an Abhorrent Admirer towards the former.

On the other hand, the romantic aspect isn't entirely one-sided as Roxanne herself started to have feelings for Sara right before she found out.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: Roxanne is disgusted with Marc hitting on her. The only reason she bothered keeping him around at first was because she found it beneficial for her game. Once she hits her Rage Breaking Point with him however, she’d rather have him out of the game.
