Idol Land Pripara
Amari Katasumi
Voiced by: Riho Iida
Amari Katasumi is a character that debuts in Idol Land PriPara. She was born in Paparajuku and is a 9th grade high school student at Basilico Private Academy.- All of the Other Reindeer: She gave up of her dream of becoming an idol because everyone laughed of her.
- Animal-Eared Headband: Bunny.
- Animal Motif: She wears bunny ears and her mic have a bunny and in other image she wore a hoodie with a bunny in it. Also in her autograph. Her preferred brand is Hysteric Bunny.
- Ascended Fangirl: She always liked idols and dreamed of becoming one.
- Audience Surrogate: Since Idol Land Pripara started 7 years after the first season of Pripara with a break of 3 years after Idol Time Pripara, Amari is likely to be one to all the persons that watched Pripara when they were younger and are now watching Idol Land Pripara. Amari was a kid during Idol Time Pripara, and now she's a teen and none of the other characters aged at all.
- Catchphrase: "Amari Katasumi, has been left out again today"".
- Chronic Self-Deprecation: While in PriPara, she often doubts her own abilities to stand out or impress the idols around her.
- Chuunibyou: She used to be one and created Mario at that time.
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Laala and Yui were both Genki Girls, while Amari is a Shrinking Violet.
- Cute Clumsy Girl: She always hits her head on the ceiling and falls in her own room.
- Fusion Dance: Performs one with Mario after their duel to unseal the barrier containing Yui. The fusion is just halves of the two connected vertically.
- Meaningful Name: Written in Hiragana makes her name have no meaning in itself, but "Amari" means "leftover" or "left out".
- My God, What Have I Done?: Blames herself for creating Mario as he wreaks havoc across both PriPara and DanPri.
- Nervous Wreck: She always worry about what other people think of her and tries to hide anything that could be embarrassing.
- Old Shame: Her creations during her Chuunibyou phase.
- Shrinking Violet: She is a shy girl who sits at the corner of the class, living a school life where she always seems to be bothered.
- Significant Birth Date: She's very shy and anxious and is always left out (as she always says "Amari Katasumi, has been left out again today") and her birthday is on February 29th.
- Sixth Ranger: Downplayed. Amari joined My Dream as a Yui replacement due to Yui's request since she can't do shows in the way she is in Idol Land, Yui is now her manager. They never made a live.
- Used to Be a Sweet Kid: She was very optimistic about it until her classmates laughed at her dream.
Mario
Voiced by: Tatsumaru Tachibana
Mario is the main antagonist of Idol Land PriPara. He is a dark idol who shows up out of the blue in Danpri, and calls himself the "Demon King". His true identity is shrouded in darkness.- Ambiguously Brown: Have tanned skin and a Latin name.
- Animal Motif: While it's hard to tell by looking at him first glance, his is rabbits. His preferred fashion brand is called FullMetal Rabbit, and he's heavily associated with (and ultimately derived from) the similarly rabbit-themed Amari.
- Arc Villain: Of Idol Land. He got better.
- Breaking Old Trends: He is the first male idol to have a known preferred brand, which is FullMetal Rabbit.
- Catchphrase: "All of you rock!!"
- Chuunibyou: Indeed since he is a imaginary friend that Amari had when she was one, and he calls himself the "Demon King".
- Fusion Dance: Performs one with Amari after their duel to unseal the barrier containing Yui. The fusion is just halves of the two connected vertically.
- Goofy Print Underwear: Strawberry patterned underwear. It's his Achilles' Heel and if someone brings it up, the shame forces him into a Mascot-like form for half a day. Amari exploits this tidbit she came up with to temporarily have a manager.
- Involuntary Shapeshifting: He has a rabbit form that he transforms into when he’s embarassed.
- Logical Weakness: Creates dark keys that locks peoples’ hearts and removes their motivation. This is be reversed by Valkyrie Maiden’s Release, which involves UNlocking a cage with a giant key.
- Meaningful Name: Downplayed; it's still decidedly masculine, but his name is derivative of Amari's (A-mari -> Mario).
- Not-So-Imaginary Friend: Was one to Amari when she was a Chuunibyou, but at present he can sing, dance, and interact with anyone else.
- Rebellious Spirit: He's a highly individual person who has a rebellious personality, doesn't care about anything and tried to conquer Pripara.
- Redemption Equals Death: Made amends with Amari near the end of Idol Land, and his form in PriPara is destroyed when fused with Amari to save Yui.
- Not Quite Dead: While Loose Canon, He is shown to be alive/reconstructed in King of Prism: Your Endless Call. He has also completely finished his Heel–Face Turn, as other than keeping his usual attitude and engaging in a Prism Battle, he willingly joins the group performances, is part of the DanPri Making Drama during the group Boy Meets Girl performance, and befriends Hot-Blooded Taiga.
- Shout-Out: He always say "It's me" when introducing himself and his name is well... Mario.
Shinya Oedo

Shinya is a character that appears in Idol Land PriPara. He was first introduced in the DanPri Special Event alongside Ushimitsu, and the two of them form the unit DARK NIGHTMARE.- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Red to Ushimitsu's blue.
Ushimitsu
Voiced by: Shotaro Uzawa
Ushimitsu is a character that appears in Idol Land PriPara. He was first introduced in the DanPri Special Event alongside Shinya, and the two of them form the unit DARK NIGHTMARE.- Expository Pronoun: He refers to himself using "Sessha" which is an old way referring to oneself and was primarily used by the samurai.
- Ninja: He longs to become a ninja and works part-time in Ninja Monja, while receiving ninja lessons from Dorothy and Reona's dad.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blue to Shinya's red.
Pololo
Voiced by: Coco Hayashi
Pololo is a character that appears in Idol Land PriPara. She is described as the largest idol (in size) in the history of PriPara. She has been living in the forest of PriPara for a long time. Her preferred brand is Garland Gate.- Commonality Connection: Became good friends with Amari because both are shy and socially awkward and their duet song is about it.
- Cute Giant: She's a lot taller than an ordinary house, but she's a very sweet and tenderhearted person with a childlike mentality.
- Gentle Giant: She's really, really huge, but she's still kind and tenderhearted.
- Meaningful Name: Poroporo is a onomatopoeia for large drops falling down, such as tears, and Pololo is a crybaby.
- Prone to Tears: She's very sensitive and cries easily, probably due to her large height.
