Bernal Rojas

Bernal Rojas is a Venezuelan herpetologist and now Venezuela's premier superhero, who was recruited into the international crime fighting team the Global Guardians. He invented gadgets that mimic the abilities of reptiles.

Born in Java, Indonesial; Sujatmi was exposed to a radioactive isotope that activated her metagene, allowing her to transform any part or all of her body into water and can psychically control large bodies of water.

Mark Armstrong

Formerly an advertising executive, Mark Armstrong retired early and quite wealthy and fought crime in Vancouver from his base in nearby Ladysmith, Canada.

Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a robot hero created by Dr. Gerard Yves Martet at his laboratory in Marseilles, France. Martet blamed the Jewish people and other immigrants for the corruption of France. He designed Chrysalis to appear friendly and liberal, but inside her shell was a swarm of genetically engineered butterflies that carried a deadly virus. Martet planned for his creation to enter large immigrant districts in France and release the insects.

Gerard found a way to get his creation recruited into the Global Guardians, but he died soon after. Chrysalis served loyally with the Guardians but deep down she is aware of her programming.

Crimson Fox III

First Appearance: Green Lantern Vol 4 #11 (June, 2006)

A new Crimson Fox who claims to be the heiress to the D'Aramis fortune following Vivian and Constance D'Aramis. She becomes a member of the Global Guardians and later gets involved with Checkmate.

Freedom Beast

Dominic Mndawe

A South African anti-apartheid activist chosen as B'wana Beast's successor. Dominic Mindawe uses a serum and a helm to transform into Freedom Beast, a champion of the Red. He is the successor to B'Wana Beast.

Affirmative-Action Legacy: Deconstructed. Dominic and Mike wind up hating each other because the former is a black South African and the latter is a white American. Freedom Beast points out how racist B'wana's identity and name is, while Mike gets angry that Dominic wants to be an explicitly political superhero, insisting the role is "above politics."
Good Is Not Soft: He's a Nice Guy but also doesn't abide by Thou Shalt Not Kill. When confronting a racist, murderous Afrikaner police chief, Dominic uses the animals under his command to kill him.
Killed Off for Real: He was murdered by Prometheus in Justice League: Cry for Justice. Dominic stayed dead until the New 52 reboot.
Nice Guy: He's an easygoing, friendly guy. While he and Mike don't like each other, Dominic is pretty easy to get along with and makes fast friends with Buddy.

A young woman from China named Xiang Po, she gained the powers to draw energy from Earth's Dragon Lines to become Gloss and joined the New Guardians during the Millennium event. Following the team's disbandment, she joined the Global Guardians alongside her colleague Jet.

Debut

Noelle Avril, aka Fleur-de-Lis, is a former operative of France's covert ops group Department Gamma, member of the Global Guardians and was briefly a member the Ultramarine Corps.

Adaptational Sexuality: Noelle is revealed to be gay in the last issue of Superman and the Authority.
The Bus Came Back: Following her issue appearance in JLA Classified in 2005, it was take all the way until 2020 to reappear again in Doomsday Clock #12, later appearing as part of the Ultra-Humanite's army in the same year in Superman and the Authority.
Early Installment Character-Design Difference: During her debut, her hair colour fluctuated from being red to blonde until her appearance in Deathstroke the Terminator which solidified her as having white hair. This didn't stop her brief appearance in JLA Classified erroneously showing her with blonde hair again (on top of putting her back into her debut outfit).

Charles Mokose

Charles Mokose is the second person to take on the mantle of Impala. They are a metahuman speedster from Africa whose powers are granted through a mystical totem mask similar in nature to Vixen's Tantu Totem. He is a member of the Global Guardians.

Comic-Book Fantasy Casting: According to Vixen, Charles sounds a lot like Idris Elba in terms of having an English accent and mannerisms.

Daniel Cormac is Jack O'Lantern, a superhero from Ireland who was granted a magic lantern by an Irish fairy and member of the Global Guardians. They once teamed up with the Justice League Europe before passing away of natural causes, leading to his cousin taking up the role as part of Primal Force. Following Dark Nights: Death Metal, they were brought back to life.

Liam McHugh is the cousin of Daniel Cormac, the first Jack O'Lantern. Following Daniel's funeral, Liam found his magical lantern and with Owlwoman's blessing, became the new Jack O'Lantern, joining the Global Guardians successor group Primal Force.

Celia Windward

A young Jamaican woman living in Great Britain named Celia Windward was granted powers by the Guardians of the Universe to manipulate electromagnetic energies, becoming the superhero Jet, joining the New Guardians during the events of Millennium. Whilst on the team, she contracted HIV and seemingly died repelling an alien invasion. Fortunately, she survived and later went on to become the leader of the Global Guardians, bringing along her fellow New Guardians teammate Gloss.

Ulla Paske is a teenage hero from Denmark who goes by Little Mermaid. Ulla's father hailed from Poseidonis where they had legs and Ulla's mother hailed from Tritonis who had tails. Born a mutant, Ulla can change her legs into a fish tail as well as fly over bodies of water, but can only survive underwater for thirty hours at a time.
