The Man Himself

    DR. BEES

Dr. Miles Manners (hero name The Striped Stinger, other hero name DR. BEES)

Your average wasp-themed superhero by day, crime-fighting vigilante by night. True to his name, Dr. Bees has only one weapon at his disposal; tons and tons of bees.

WHAT'S THIS?!? A character entry for me, DR. BEES, without a single BEE in sight? My own Self-Demonstrating page full of BEES ought to clean up this mess!

  • Bee-Bee Gun: The walking embodiment of one, as his solution to most problems is to unleash a large influx of bees into it.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Most notably in "DR. BEES FOREVER", where he doesn't know what apiaries are and believes they're meant to be homeless shelters for apes. He was right about that, but still.
  • Idiot Hero: He's not exactly the sharpest stinger in the swarm, needing a supercomputer of bees that produce psychic nectar to tell him to open a napkin. That said, he does progressively get more competent as the series continues, actually managing to stop supervillains onscreen.
  • Mad Libs Catchphrase: "HWHATS THIS? A situation with no bees? My [random object] full of BEES oughta put a stop to that!"
  • Serial Escalation: His first large influx of bees came from a jar. Currently, his latest influx of bees came from the tomb of the first king Athelstan.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: He has a habit of dying every cartoon. This is actually subverted - all the times we saw his corpse was actually his identical cousin, Dead Dr. Bees.

Villains

    The Comforter

The Comforter (citizen name Gregor- or "An Individual I Do Not Recognize")

A dastardly villain who comforts grieving widows and overworked security guards with no further inconvenience. The first villain Dr. Bees encounters properly.
  • Designated Villain: Invoked. The police chief and Dr. Bees himself note that he really isn't doing anything wrong, but he's considered a villain nonetheless.
  • Poke the Poodle: The most he does is zap two security guards with his Comfortizer, then leaves without further inconvinience.
  • We Can Rule Together: He proposes to Dr. Bees that if he joins him, they can both work together to fix all bee and comfort-related problems in the world. Unfortunately for Comforter, Dr. Bees responds in kind with a lot of bees.

    Anachroname

Anachroname

A villain who has the power to rename people and things by using their past or future names.
  • Affably Evil: Despite Dr. Bees putting him in jail, he's not too bothered by it and is completely willing to help him get to the bottom of the apiary issue. Later subverted when Anachroname retires from villainy to live with Oversized Food Creator Man.
  • Heel Realization: During "DR BEES FOREVER", he realizes how bad it is to refer to people as their past names as he reveals to Dr. Bees his own former name was "Deadnamer". This leads to him reconciling with Oversized Food Creator Man and the both of them happily retiring in Minnesota in the cake OFCM mailed to Anachroname.
  • Poke the Poodle: His entire shtick is altering names to be their older or future counterparts, though it proves surprisingly effective if that name is an Embarrassing Nickname from grade school, as Tina can attest to.
  • Unfortunate Name: His own past name was "Deadnamer". Can't really blame him from switching to Anachroname.

    Oversized Food Creator Man

Oversized Food Creator Man (formerly Oversized Food Destroyer Man)

A former hero with the power to destroy any oversized food that came his way...until Anachronames meddling caused him to rethink his life and remake himself as a creator of oversized food rather than the destroyer of it.
  • Create Your Own Villain: Implied. Tina calling him a "lesser hero" to Dr. Bees may have set off his journey to become Oversized Food Creator Man instead of Destroyer Man.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: He outright admits he can't do anything to Anachroname since he isn't oversized food.
  • Heel–Face Turn: He happily retires with Anachroname in Minnesota after Tina's defeat.
  • Heart Is an Awesome Power: Ironic, considering his last power was the opposite trope. Despite how ridiculous creating oversized food sounds as a power, he makes the most of it by managing to mail Anachroname his entire headquarters and the entire state of Minnesota in just two cakes.

Citizens and Other Heroes

    Omnipotron

Omnipotron (or Bee Boy)

An omnipotent being capable of anything in the universe. Dr. Bees considers them his sidekick, Bee Boy.
  • Beyond the Impossible: Manages to die despite being an omnipotent being.
  • Expy: Omnipotron is a clear send-up to Dr. Manhattan. Both are blue, omnipotent humanoids who can see the past, present, and future and have limitless power over reality and almost never bother with clothing.
  • Not So Above It All: They wrap around to Dr. Bees shenanigans when confronting the Comforter, summoning a small cardboard box containing one bee, and even donning the Bee Boy costume at the Cop Cave.
  • Reed Richards Is Useless: Despite their omniscience, they usually get sidelined for more grounded criminal work and get interrupted everytime they try doing something.

    Tina

Tina Tinklepants

A prominent woman in New Propolis and owner of the New Propolis Apiary. Thanks to Anarchronames meddling however, she's really a supervillain adopting her old nickname from the 3rd grade, taking everyone's money to avoid any more accidents.
  • Complexity Addiction: Her true plan for New Propolis was to physically redefine the word apiary to take advantage of a bee shortage in order to make profits to prevent any more wetting accidents.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: It's alluded to that she suffered a wetting accident back in third grade, which earned her the name "Tina Tinklepants". Even when she tries to make it her villain name, she's still hurt by it.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: She's mocked by the homeless apes she stole the apiaries from just as she mocked Dr. Bees for seemingly not knowing the meaning of the word.
  • Trauma Button: Her old nickname, "Tina Tinklepants". It's still effective on her even when she uses it as her villain name.
