Get the tempo from Ableton Link
MainStage can receive tempo changes from Ableton Link. If you select Ableton Link, MainStage listens for tempo information from a Link session. If it receives tempo information, the concert tempo changes to the new tempo value, synchronizing with the Link session. You can also instruct MainStage to send and receive transport commands (start/stop) with other Link participants.
Get the tempo from incoming Ableton Link messages
In the MainStage Patch List, select the concert icon.
In the Concert Settings Inspector, click Timing > Tempo > Ableton Link.
Select the Transmit and Receive Start/Stop checkbox if you want MainStage to send and receive transport commands (play/stop) with other Link participants.
