Add a border to an object in Pages on iPad

You can add a border, such as a picture frame or a dotted line, around an image, shape, text box or video, then modify the border’s thickness, colour and other attributes.

  1. Go to the Pages app on your iPad.

  2. Open a document, then tap to select an image, shape, text box or video, or select multiple objects.

  3. Tap the Format button, tap Style, then turn on Border.

  4. To set the border’s style, colour and width, use the controls that appear.
