Search for plug-ins in a channel strip in MainStage
In MainStage, you can search for an audio, instrument, or MIDI plug-in by name in a channel strip, and add the plug-in to an empty plug-in slot or replace an existing plug-in in an occupied slot, depending on the type of slot you searched from.
Search for a plug-in from an empty slot or occupied slot
In a channel strip in MainStage, click an empty slot or the right side of an occupied slot, then click the search field at the top of the plug-in menu.
Enter the plug-in name in the search field. As you enter text, the results list shows matching plug-ins of the corresponding type (audio, instrument, or MIDI).
To add a matching plug-in to the slot (or replace an existing plug-in), select the plug-in in the results list.
