Change a Session Player type and style in Logic Pro for iPad

In the Session Player Editor in Logic Pro for iPad, you can select different player types and styles in the Session Player dialog. The players include different kinds of acoustic and electronic Drummers, the Bass Player, and the Keyboard Player. Each type of player comes with a variety of distinct styles.

You can choose a different style for each Session Player region on a track, which allows you to vary the playing style for different sections of your project. When you choose a different style for a region, the default instrument patch associated with that style is loaded, affecting all other regions on the track. You can change this behavior so that the instrument patch does not change when you choose a new style.

Likewise, when you choose a new Session Player, the instrument patch for that track also changes. However, if you have other regions on the same track, they will retain their notes and settings. This may produce undesirable results when played with the new instrument patch.
