Set up iCloud for Keynote on all your devices

You can use iCloud with Keynote on your iPhone, iPad and Mac, and on iCloud.com. For an overview of what you can do with iCloud, see Collaborate on Keynote presentations and keep them up to date with iCloud.

Note: Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account on each device. If you're not signed in to your Apple Account on a device, or the device has the iCloud Drive and Keynote features turned off, you won't be able to access your presentations stored in iCloud on the device.

Set up iCloud for Keynote on your iPhone or iPad

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

  2. Make sure iCloud Drive is on. If it's not, tap Drive (or iCloud Drive), then turn on Sync this [device].

  3. Tap See All (or Show All), then turn on Keynote.

  4. To view Keynote presentations stored in iCloud, open the Files app, tap iCloud Drive below Locations, then go to the Keynote folder or another folder that contains Keynote presentations.

Set up iCloud for Keynote on your Mac

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click your name at the top of the sidebar.

    If you don't see your name, click “Sign in”, enter your Apple Account email address or phone number, then enter your password.

  2. Click iCloud, click Drive (or iCloud Drive), then do one of the following:

    • macOS 13.3 or later: Turn on Sync this Mac. Click Apps Syncing to iCloud Drive, then turn on Keynote.

    • macOS 13 to 13.2: Click Turn On. Click the Options button, then select Keynote.

  3. To view Keynote presentations stored in iCloud, open the Finder, click iCloud Drive in the sidebar, then go to the Keynote folder or another folder that contains Keynote presentations.

Use Keynote on iCloud.com

You can edit and collaborate on Keynote presentations in a web browser on a computer.

Go to icloud.com/keynote and sign in to your Apple Account.

Note: You can use iCloud Drive to view Keynote presentations on a phone or tablet.
