Choose your preferred type of travel in Maps on iPod touch

You can choose the default mode of transportation for getting directions in the Maps app .

  1. Go to Settings  > Maps.

  2. Tap Driving, Walking, Transit, or Cycling (below Preferred Type of Travel).
