Mark messages as unread and pin conversations on Apple Vision Pro

In the Messages app, you can mark messages as unread or pin and unpin conversations to prioritise messages in the Messages list.

Mark messages as unread

You can mark conversations as unread so you can return to them later when you have time to respond.

  1. Go to the Messages app on your Apple Vision Pro.

  2. In the Messages list, swipe right on a conversation to mark it as unread. Or pinch and drag right and tap the Mark as Unread button.

Tip: You can also mark several messages as unread at once. Tap Edit, tap Select Messages, select the conversations you want to mark as unread, then tap Unread in the bottom-left corner.

Pin a conversation

You can pin specific conversations to the top of the Messages list so the people you contact most always come first in the list.

  1. Go to the Messages app on your Apple Vision Pro.

  2. Swipe right on a conversation, then tap the Pin button. You can also pinch and hold the conversation, then drag it to the top of the list.

  3. To unpin, tap the Unpin button or pinch and drag the conversation to the bottom of the list.
