Reorder channel strips in the Mixer in Logic Pro for iPad
In Logic Pro you can reorder channel strips in Tracks view in the Mixer, including reordering multiple channel strips. When you reorder channel strips assigned to tracks, the corresponding tracks are reordered in the Tracks area.
Channel strips that are not assigned to tracks can be moved to new positions between or to the right of track-assigned channel strips. When you move non-track-assigned channel strips, tracks are created for them.
Reorder a channel strip in the Mixer
In the Mixer in Logic Pro, touch and hold the channel strip name, then drag horizontally to move the channel strip to a new position.
Reorder multiple channel strips in the Mixer
In the Mixer in Logic Pro, select the channel strips (using the Multiple Select button), then drag one of the selected channel strips horizontally to move all of them to a new position. You can select and reorder nonadjacent channel strips, which brings them together in their new position.
When reordering, you can’t simultaneously select channel strips that are part of a track stack and channel strips outside the track stack. If any channel strips inside a track stack are selected, and you add a channel strip outside the track stack to the selection, the channel strips inside the track stack are deselected and are not reordered. Similarly, if you select channel strips outside a track stack, then add a channel strip inside a track stack to the selection, the channel strips outside the track stack are deselected.
