Use the Apple Vision Pro app on iPhone and iPad

The Apple Vision Pro app on iPhone and iPad keeps you up to date on the latest content and spatial experiences for your Apple Vision Pro. You can also see info about your device, discover something new with Tips, and more.

Note: The Apple Vision Pro app is installed automatically on your iPhone with iOS 18.4 or later, or iPad with iPadOS 26.1 or later, when it’s signed in to the same Apple Account as your Apple Vision Pro (with visionOS 2.4 or later).

Use the Apple Vision Pro app

Go to the Apple Vision Pro app on your iPhone or iPad.
Do any of the following:
- See recommended movies, apps, and more: Scroll through the Discover page.
- See information about your device, tips, and more: Tap Vision Pro.

Download apps to your Apple Vision Pro

You can use the Apple Vision Pro app to find and install apps for your Apple Vision Pro.

Go to the Apple Vision Pro app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap an App Store card on the Discover page.
Tap the price or Get button next to the app you want to install on your Apple Vision Pro.
If required, authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to complete your purchase.

The app is automatically downloaded and installed on your Apple Vision Pro the next time you use your device.

Add shows and movies to your watchlist

You can use the Apple Vision Pro app to add shows and movies to your watchlist in the TV app on Apple Vision Pro.

Go to the Apple Vision Pro app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap an Apple TV card on the Discover page, then tap Add to Watchlist.
If you don’t see the Discover page, tap Discover at the bottom.

Add content from Spatial Gallery to Favorites

From your iPhone or iPad, you can add Spatial Gallery content to your Favorites to view on Apple Vision Pro later.

Go to the Apple Vision Pro app on your iPhone or iPad.
When you see a Spatial Gallery card on the Discover page for content you want to look at later, tap .

View or scan your vision prescription information

The Apple Vision Pro app gives you quick access to your vision prescription so you can scan it in when you’re using someone else’s Apple Vision Pro.

Go to the Apple Vision Pro app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap Vision Pro, then scroll down to Prescription Inserts and do either of the following:
- Use your prescription with someone else’s Apple Vision Pro: When you start a Guest User session on someone else’s device, scan the Prescription Inserts pairing code.
- View or edit your prescription: Tap View in Health to view your prescription, then tap Edit to make changes.
