Use virtual MIDI devices with Logic Pro for iPad
Logic Pro for iPad includes two virtual MIDI devices, called Logic Pro Virtual In and Logic Pro Virtual Out. You can use Logic Pro Virtual In to receive MIDI messages from another music app on your iPad, and use Logic Pro Virtual Out to send MIDI messages from Logic Pro to another music app on your iPad.
Receive MIDI messages from another music app
Logic Pro for iPad, tap the More button
on the right side of the control bar, then tap Settings 
.Tap App Settings, tap MIDI, then turn on Logic Pro Virtual In.
In the other music app, set the MIDI output to Logic Pro Virtual In. Check the app’s documentation for information on how to do this.
Send MIDI messages to another music app
In Logic Pro for iPad, Logic Pro Virtual Out is available in the following locations:
The MIDI Output pop-up menu in the Track inspector when an external MIDI track is selected (see Edit track parameters)
The MIDI Destination pop-up menu in the External Instrument plug-in (see External Instrument)
The New Tracks dialog when you set new track options
