Search your boards in Freeform on Mac

1. Go to the Freeform app on your Mac.

2. Enter what you’re looking for in the search field.

   Boards with typed or handwritten text, links or descriptions that match your search criteria are shown. You can choose a different option in the sidebar if you want to search different boards.

While browsing, you can view boards as a grid of icons or in a list.

1. Go to the Freeform app on your Mac.

2. Do one of the following:

   • View boards as a grid of thumbnails: Click .

   • View boards as a list: Click .

To go back to grid or list view after viewing a board, click .

1. Go to the Freeform app on your Mac.

2. Open a board.

3. Click anywhere in the board’s canvas, choose Edit > Find > Find (or press Command-F), then type text in the search field.

   Handwritten text and typed text (in shapes, sticky notes and text boxes) that match your search criteria are shown.

4. Do one of the following:

   • Go to the next or previous instance in the results: Click the arrow buttons located at the top of the window.

   • Clear the search field: Click at the end of the search field.

   • Replace the found text with new text: Select the Replace tickbox next to the Done button, enter the new text in the Replace field (next to the search field), then click Replace. To replace all instances of the found text with the new text, click All.
