Add rooms to Home on Mac
Add rooms where you plan to add lights, locks, thermostats, and other accessories to automate your home.
Add a room
Go to the Home app
on your Mac.Click
, then click Add Room.Name the room and choose a wallpaper or photo to identify the room.
Click Save.
Tip: You can also drag and drop an image, such as a JPG or TIFF file, onto a room as wallpaper.
Edit a room
Go to the Home app
on your Mac.Click the room in the sidebar, then choose Edit > Edit Room.
Change the room name, zone, or wallpaper.
Click Done.
Remove a room
Go to the Home app
on your Mac.Click the room in the sidebar, then choose Edit > Edit Room.
Click Remove Room.
Click Remove.
